The food was good, I mean I just got sushi but the person who handed me my food was unprofessional. And I can't tell if he was trying to be funny but he was not. If he caught me on a bad day I would've called the manager or corporate. I work in customer service so it's some things that are common sense that you don't say or do. The environment was great up until then. I'm mostly mad because I tipped 15% and this little boy tried to play in my face. I've ordered delivery from Yogi's Grill at varying location through Postmates and the like countless times. It's always been fairly reliable when I'm in the mood for sushi, tasty but not too expensive. So today, I figured I'd save the delivery fees and grab some takeout myself. I arrived shortly after they opened, and there were already a couple other people there. I ordered a Vegas roll and added salmon for an additional couple dollars, and sat down to wait. Despite there only being a few customers, it took over 20 minutes to make my food. But that wasn't too bad, they call my order number and I grab my food, but then I notice something is wrong. Normally a Vegas roll comes with eel sauce, not just here but at many other sushi places, but smothering my food was spicy mayo. I have no tolerance for spicy food whatsoever, so this was immediately a problem. I mentioned this to the lady at the counter who informed me that getting the added salmon also swaps the sauces, despite not being indicated on the menu. Obviously I was very confused, especially since I've gotten this exact order many times from other locations, and she says "oh we just do that at this location" ....... what? But WHY?! Why would one singular restaurant chain location use a completely different sauce for a sushi roll based on a tiny amount of added salmon?! This makes absolutely no sense!! So this meant I had to wait another 20 minutes for a freaking sushi roll. I would've loved to give a higher rating because the food here has always been great, but this experience was rather frustrating to say the least, and if Yogi's Grill or any restaurant is going to make changes to a food item like this, they MUST inform their customers or post a notice on their menu. read more

I ordered my food at 11:00 because they usually take a while and my lunch was at 11:30. I get there tell them I had a phone pick up order describe the order, pay and wait. Meanwhile customers are already waiting. A stream of customers are also coming in. I end up waiting about 15 mins until I ask customers if they also preordered. Everyone said no. I get back up to the counter and they had my food sitting there the whole time. Now my food is cold. My total wait was about 50 mins including phone order time. Just ridiculous and my food was cold. I asked for no onions and onions were on it of course. I actually like this restaurant. The food is delicious when it's not luke warm. But it only takes one mistake this bad to make a customer upset enough to make a bad Yelp review. Hopefully you guys get it together with your service. The frowns on the cashiers faces dint help. When the order is sitting there, finished, the lady behind the desk does not pay attention to the orders coming out of the kitchen making people wait longer aside from making people wait longer the kitchen staff has no communication with the staff at the front register, letting them know that the order is finished, and when some of the orders are finished the ladies behind the front register bag the orders and leave them on the counter, waiting for people to come and claim them,, as they assume all orders coming out of the kitchen are for pickup or mobile orders,, They do not call out numbers on the receipt they give you witch makes no sense at all,, I will not be coming here again as they always inconvenience you by making you wait because they are simply not paying attention to work. read more

Rude manager I ordered through DoorDash and the store manager gave the food to the wrong driver. My driver arrived and was refilled reuse the order and yelled at in front of me on the phone with the driver. I've been called on a different line and not only did this female, who refused to give her name, kept calling me a male when I'm clearly a female, a grandmother of three she was very rude and obnoxious to the driver. Solid standard teriyaki bowl for lunch. Chicken was cooked correctly, charred but not dry. The veg wasn't over steamed and the sauce tasted good (spicy teriyaki sauce was really good. Food came out quick which was nice because I was in a semi-rush. One strange thing is that the teriyaki bowls are legit meat and rice with veg as a charged up sell...seems odd, haven't ever seen that before but it's .99.
