I questioned if they were even open but there were 2 people sitting down on opposite sides and a lady walked up behind the register so I went up to order. They have many options that look super delicious! I was looking at the menu feeling very awkward about the silence so I told her it was a first time, there was no smile, no conversation, nothing. the owner of this location at 101/Ray is the most unhappy, unpleasant, and ungrateful woman. Every time I stop in she seems annoyed to be bothered with an order. I've spent hundreds of dollars here and when I finally use the free teryaki bowl after purchasing 10 meals she seems annoyed. I just placed an order and she said It would be ready in 10 minutes when I arrived 15 minutes later and she told me she had no order ready for me! I showed her my phone to show her I had placed the order 15 min ago and she even reminded me of the location. I arrived and she was clueless! Also rude. She needs to figure out doing something else! This is my first visit and I ordered a large chicken & beef bowl and a yogis roll. Yogis roll didn't have any of crunchtop or spicy mayo sauce which is what ties in the whole sushi. I paid full price of $13.99 for not having all the ingredients. second my bowl has more rice than meat. I am not sure if because it's in chandler this location is stingy with their ingridents or if it was just an off day on getting shipments?? if that was the case I would've liked to have been informed to come back another time. overall quality and quantity was horrible. I don't even know where to begin. The 1 is for it being good food. It is, it's decent. Expensive for what you get AND (not including regular meal delivery fees and tax) they charge extra $2 if you order through a meal delivery app. No change to the food, no more options, they just charge you more for ordering online. I'm Latina, I know how to speak Spanish, and considering we're in Arizona, you should assume more people speak Spanish because of your location. Did this stop the girls at the front & in the back from badmouthing the customers for no reason in Spanish? No. They for whatever reason thought, since they can't understand us, let's criticize their order & what they look like. When they messed up mine & my husbands order, did they respond kindly? No. In fact I explained to them what we had ordered & how they had accidentally up charged us for a sauce that already comes with the order, they responded rudely and brashly. When I tried to negotiate with them, and ask if there was any way my husband could go back & get it fixed, they yelled at me. Without losing my cool, because you can't fight violence with violence, I explained that they shouldn't treat a customer this way as that will have them lose people. Instead, she cussed at me in Spanish (yes, I understood you) and then said to me in English that she's glad she's losing me as a customer because why would they want a customer who complains? So, ultimately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I really was trying to be kind & work out something because there was an error, but after seeing how they treated people in the store, I should've known this was how they were going to respond. So far I have been to this location twice since it has opened. Not impressed something seems off, does not seem like the yogis at other locations. The teriyaki bowls seem the same but the Sushi is... can't find the words...overall I was not happy with the Las Vegas roll w/salmon. For the price I would now know to go to a reputable sushi place. The breading on the outside is ridiculous! And the salmon taste had a slight kitchen sink water taste, ya I know! Looks cheap, taste cheap, end of story. Although, the cashier that works every time we come in at this location is not very friendly at all and she spends a lot of time on her phone. I came here for the first time and tried their teriyaki beef bowl and they're beef udon. The beef bowl size was alright. Not too big not too small. Their sauce was decent enough. But their beef, man it was over cooked and chewy. There was a good portion of beef though. Their udon bowl was better than expected. They used the same beef for the beef udon bowl so again, over cooked and chewy beef. But it was okay. I'd give it a 3.5 star. I'll come back and try other dishes but so far it's alright. read more
