Later the store was open again and they made an effort to let me know I was free to sit there. I almost went in just to get more gelato, but I held myself back. I opted for the seasonal bourbon pecan, and it was delightful. It felt like fall in a cup. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet and it tasted very natural. The flavors were somehow strong but subtle in the best of ways. At a staff suggestion, I paired it with the chocolate, which was an absolute stellar of a staple. The size of the piccolo was perfect. The gelato was some of the best I ever had. And the staff were absolutely excellent. As my Bestie says, the whole experience was absolutely worth an Instagram photo shoot.
