a woman eating a bowl of ice cream

I feel like I got scammed. When I went in, there wasn't a sign regarding an overfilled cup. I picked up a cup that said it was a flat rate. I swirled the icecream up past the brim as I do at the icecream shop I work at. My total was about 20 dollars for 2 flat rate cups. Flat rate means it is a fixed rate. If you look at the definition, that is what it means. He then offered me a percentage off and I just said ok. I was very unhappy though because I had been to this yogo many times before and they NEVER charged me extra in the past. They only charged me for an "overfilled cup" this one time

Great selections of frozen yogurt favors and toppings. The parking can be difficult, but otherwise the store is clean and inviting. On Monday, the store offers a smaller cup for a flat rate of $5. Also, on Wednesday, you get double stamps on the "rewards card."

google the definition of flat rate love,, or at least spell it right

i want to first begin by asking you all a question: what is the definition of flat rate ? If you go onto google and search for the answer you will find that definition is "a charge that is the same in all cases, not varying in proportion with something." so tell me why i grab the smallest flat rate cup available and fill it with a little swirly on top. we go to checkout and get charged niNE dollars for the yogurt. the man working proceeds to tell me that "overload" on flat rate cups are charged by weight. H U H ? okay so then its n o t flat rate (btw spelled flat rate WRONG on the tiny little strip of paper that was advertising this information). Our cup of yogurt looked exactly like the yogurt in the picture of the flat rate blue cup yogurt. SO this yogo factory is making their own rules ? literally on a college campus and you are ripping us off. ive been going to yogo since i was a child and literally have never encountered this "overload" rule. "it is so bad, i wanna give you a zero, but thats not possible,, so i give you,, a one."

There wasn't a huge selection of flavors, but there were a few I liked, so it was all good.

(My rating is more of a 3.5) ** CASH ONLY **…read more My brother and SIL took my family and I here during a visit. They raved to us about the local creamery that made all of their own homemade ice cream, and had a very dynamic and rotating menu of flavors. As ice cream lovers, we were excited to give it a try! The inside is very eclectic with wall to ceiling DIY murals, and what appears to be thrifted seating inside. The women at the counter were nice but not very welcoming, just kept to themselves and tried to keep the long line moving as fast as they could. Important to note - they're CASH ONLY. Despite all of the unique flavors, I felt a bit limited (to be honest). Very little topping options as the ice creams are designed to have the toppings inside. This makes it hard to get any degree of customization if there's a flavor you like but has one or two no-go ingredients (which was the issue I had most.) The temporary flavor I had was fine, but didn't blow me away or seem any more special than my local spots back home. I think this is an interesting place but I think if I was local, this wouldn't be my usual spot. They truly cater to people who have an adventurous palette and like trying new things, which limits the kind of guests you can attract, or friends you can bring along. (I personally find something I love and tend to stick with it for ice cream, which would be difficult here. And most in my family don't seem to be as adventurous.) Having said that, I noticed they have affogato on the menu so will have to come back and give it a shot next time I'm in town.
