    Traditional Lockma

Cute little pink coffee shop offering a wide selection of lockmas (similar to donut hole) only better and not as sweet. I ordered a cappuccino with tradional lockma. Delicious freshly made lockma's with a drizzle of pistachio and light syrup. The place is decorated in all pink and ample small tables and bar stool. Service is quick and very helpful person behind the counter. I highly recommend this cute place.

My nephews keep me hip! They've been raving and asking about finding them Dubai Chocolates so AWESOME Auntie had to make it happen. Yelp for help! To the rescue!! The shop is cute and pink. I loved the signage that read "Stressed spelled backwards is Desserts" in the back. It's kind of small and tight inside... seating is limited and I walked in at just the right time. It can get busy... Anyhoo! These desserts were pricey! But who cares lol anything for my little boos. We enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries, lokma, chocolate bars & a pistachio oat-milk latte for me with an extra shot of espresso. I would definitely venture back here just for the coffee! Happy Yelping!

Stopped Here on a girls night out for a sweet treat! How delicious! This place did NOT disappoint. Truly a hidden gem in Alexandria. We got two orders of Lockma, the Ruby and the Fruit. Highly recommend stopping by and trying ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. The decor inside is super cute. The shop itself is quite small.

We tried this place at random as we're having brunch in old town and wanted to kill time before our reservation. My wife and I are both coffee lovers, so grabbing a cup of Joe just made sense. My wife wanted to try this place. because it was new. I've never been here before. We splurged for the pistachio ice latte. This is one of the best specialty lattes I've ever had. It taste like a Dubai chocolate candy bar and a nice iced latte got married and had a kid. Overall, the place is very clean, very good service. Very cute decor and ambience. Their desserts and pastries all look amazing. And finding Dubai chocolates in the area is difficult. This location makes it custom order right in front of you.

Lily's has amazing hot chocolate. I got both the regular and the peppermint, and both were excellent. The service is fast and the options for food and drinks are perfect for sweet treats and coffees/teas. The inside is cute and has lots of seating both inside and out.

Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 4/5 I only popped in here for a hot chocolate and a candy bar, but I was impressed with what I saw. The store is clean and stylish and the staff were friendly. The hot chocolate was decently chocolatey (I tend to like mine super sweet). But the star was the Dubai Chocolate Bar. It's an oversized chocolate bar (seriously, it took my family of 5 three days to eat it all) and it comes topped with (I believe) pistachio and kataifi (which gives it a crunch that Crunch Bars can only dream of). This was a fun dessert to experience, and I'll be back for more.

A great place to stop and grab a sweet treat and some coffee. Inside is clean and service is friendly. The Dubai strawberries are a bit pricey coming in at $19.99 but I'd be lying if I didn't say they were phenomenal. Strawberries were perfectly ripe, good quality chocolate, and the kataifi and pistachio cream were amazing. I also loved the inclusion of crushed up pistachios! The pistachio latte was very good as well! The shots were perfect and the pistachio flavor was tasty.

I needed to grab a coffee and happened to walk into Lily's and what a delight! This is the cutest dessert shop with a lot of treats available. I picked up a slice of carrot cake to go and an iced pistachio latte- it was so good! The gentlemen working were very friendly and let me try a sample of the vanilla gelato. It is rich, sweet, and creamy. I can't wait to come back and try their Dubai chocolate bar and the chocolate covered strawberries.

Open late points. It can be busy at night so even getting in the door was hard. We ordered to go. Only got the lockma. They didn't skimp on the Nutella. Prices appear are par with the area. We pointed out that they were making the order wrong but they continued on .

I really wanted to give this Lily's 5 star but unfortunately couldn't. When first walking in I noticed, although cramped, the cafe was cute, aesthetic and "instagram worthy"-- my kids liked it so we decided to order some coffee and their "Dubai chocolate". First let me say the young lady who helped us was very patient and friendly; 5 stars to her! The coffee was decent, but didn't come sweetened, so that was unexpected. The chocolate was good. Overall though the coffee and chocolate wasn't worth the price for the average taste. Also upon looking around a bit more, the cafe was actually a bit dirty. Tables weren't cleaned, used napkins on the floor, walls and floor had dirt marks & bathroom could've been tidier. I wouldn't visit again but I can see the initial appeal.

Lily's Chocolate & Coffee is an adorable cafe in Alexandria that's as sweet as it is stylish. The interior is completely decked out in pink, creating a fun and whimsical atmosphere. We ordered hot chocolates and a 5-piece lokma with dark chocolate sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. The lokmas were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft, gooey, and filled with rich chocolate on the inside. Our cashier was very helpful and polite.

Uhmmm!!! I have been debating about the drive to get to them again! Sigh. After a very disappointing food experience at The Majestic, I needed something sweet to turn my day around! I sat in traffic for an hour and 24 minutes to get to old town for an event! So I'm terrified to drive there, but the iced pistachio latte and Dubai chocolate bar has me shook! I am a big fan of buttery pistachio flavored things that don't give off artificial and their latte was giving me just that! Many times I find it hard to also find a prominent taste pistachio coffee items, but i find that between Shotted and Lily's, they are very close! 10/10. Lily's takes it for price point and the perfect amout of pistachio! It was was so creamy and ughh I want more thinking about it! The Dubai Chocolate?!?! 1st time having it and i will have to say i UNDERSTAND THE HYPE! It was not overly sweet and the crunch in the center is my favorite!!! Omg it's like a wafer, but even better! I wanted to eat the whole thing, but i saved it to eat the next day and to share some with my mom who doesn't really care for overly sweet desserts and she LOVED IT! will be back soon! On top of that the young man at the counter was so sweet and even complimented me on how pretty I was!!! thanks for making me feel young again lol!

I was able to get silent one street parking here in a Friday afternoon around 3:30. The space was cute and had some tables to sit down. I was able to order easily and get my food in a few moments. I ordered a spinach pie, chocolate and strawberries, and a Dubai chocolate bar. 1) spinach pie was cold even though it was warmed up. It probably would have been good if it was heated fully. 2) chocolate strawberries. I asked for pistachio cream to be added. The chocolate was really smooth and delicious. The strawberries were really big and fresh. I couldn't taste the pistachio to much, I assume due tot he chocolate. 3) Dubai Chocolate: The bar was good but I couldn't really taste the filling as much as I'd of liked. The chocolate overwhelmed the inside. It was still very good.

The spread had some interesting options and I could imagine coming back on a less busy day and having a better experience.

After taking a look at the candy, gelato and desserts, we settled on key lime pie. The key lime pie was pretty good, though it was perhaps a little too sweet and the filling rather dry. Because we were first time customers, the shopkeeper offered us each a piece of complimentary candy. The candy had a shell filled with a confection containing Japanese citrus yuzu fruit. The shell was coated with dark chocolate. I'm just going to say this was the tastiest, most delightful candy I've ever sampled. Dolce & Bean also sells attractively designed packages of candies. These would make good gifts. We absolutely will be back for more candy and want to try the gelato. One minor thing is that the shop was chilly and I had to put my hoodie on. But heck, aren't most restaurants and stores around the DMV freezing cold in the summer?

Easily a 10/10 for that category. What really stood out to me was the variety of flavors. I tried the strawberry matcha cookie and was honestly surprised by how much I liked it. It had a really nice balance of flavors and didn't feel gimmicky at all. It's always a risk trying something a little different, but this one definitely paid off. Another thing I appreciated was that they had a section of cookies discounted because they were made the night before. I love when places do this...it's a great way to try more flavors without spending a lot, and honestly, the cookies were still really good. Service-wise, the cashier was super helpful and patient, especially when it came to explaining flavors and giving recommendations. GM and sommelier Jason can suggest great wine pairings by the glass - interesting, high quality wines that bring out the best in both food and wine but that aren't budget busters. Our group especially enjoyed the scallops and saffron rice (a beautifully plated dish of rice surrounded with scallops, mussels, clams and persillade/nduja sauce); the grilled salmon (a hearty piece of fresh fish complemented with a generous serving of corn, pickled ramps, roasted shishito peppers, peas and tomato relish); mouthwatering braised brisket arancini; and crispy artichokes. The Parker House rolls were a classic indulgence. Our desserts - coconut cake and chocolate mousse - were delicious.
