The selections of yogurts are always good with lots of varieties. Especially the toppings! There are so many different toppings to choose from. The only thing you need to know is that if they run out of the salted caramel pretzel, I'm flipping tables! There are many shops like this, it's not exactly ground breaking, but I've had more consistent visits at this location and have recently preferred going here over other places. They do a good job of keeping the store very clean and the topping station in good order. They are very astute too, considering this is a mostly self service place. I hadn't been there in a while and I was glancing over the toppings, but not asking for help and was asked what I was looking for. I said I was looking for the graham cracker dust and when she pointed it out to me, I realized for the first time how set up their topping station really is. Hot fudge, peanut butter syrup, marshmallow topping, graham crackers, peanuts plus all the gummies, sprinkles and chocolate candies you can think of! It's $0.49 an ounce so if you go crazy, expect to pay. If you show restraint, it's a very reasonable treat. You can put as many flavors as you want in your cup, nobody will police you on how you make your cup, lol! Most of the flavors are pretty solid though I didn't think their cupcake or matcha green tea really tasted like their namesakes. Other flavors like cookies n cream don't disappoint and my husband always gets their coconut. I of course recommend the salted caramel pretzel, but not if you're going to use it all up! I need it. This is the yogurt story of my childhood same owners of the original on the loop but they sold that one. THIS location is always clean lots of delicious toppings and the best flavors of yogurt. Love that you can sit outside do wish the tables weren't falling apart maybe can be fixed. Owners are always there welcoming and with a smile on their faces. A franchise is only as good as its owners. The lady owner was there and we had to ask her for sampling cups- at first she just gave us one. I had to ask for a second one for my fiend. Lol We tried a few flavors then when we went to the toppings I noticed that anything that was supposed to be cut/crushed by the employees were in HUGE piece. The strawberries were cut in half. I love going to yogurt places and having the tiny cut up pieces of several fruits so I can have some with each bite. Not here. I'm pretty sure they do this to add weight quickly/ drive up the price of your cup of yogurt. Well I didn't get any fruit Bc of this so that def backfired. The Oreo pieces, waffle cone pieces, chocolate bits- all huge. Lastly there's a sign that says they will charge extra for nibbling before you pay & a few other things. I mean, i understand that they don't want you taking big bits but part of the experience of those frozen yogurt places is trying different flavors and toppings so you know what you want. All in all, I may return since this place is located near where I stay while visiting Denton but it will be in and out. Go to the location on the loop if you're wanting an outing with others. This Yogurt Story is run by a very very uptight couple who act extremely rude and suspicious of everyone who comes in the store. They have a lot of "rules" for the store. I came to this location fairly often since I lived pretty close by, and eventually they got to know me and would actually smile at me. I feel like they have a "customer EARNS the customer service" attitude. There was even a time I used the bathroom and it shares a wall with their "employee only" closet, and heard what was unmistakably things being thrown and male and female screaming at each other. Like many other frozen yogurt places around the DFW area, this is just one of those simple places that you get some good FroYo and then you add all the unhealthy stuff on it that make your little ones happy. Hey, it makes my child happy and I like the stuff. Yogurt Story is in a nice little section of a strip mall in Razor Ranch, right by Freebirds. Shoot go eat there or at Cowboy Chicken close by and enjoy some great flavors at YS. Denton has changed so much, even in the three years since I've been gone. To start this review off I respect the covid mandates put in place for restaurants and places like this. What I don't like is being lied to and yelled at by owners. I saw a couple testing out some of the yogurt in a regular size cup and though to myself how odd. Then I saw the sign that says " no samples due to covid" which doesn't make sense. So I started pouring the yogurt and to my surprise the machine was not working. The yogurt that had come out was straight liquid so I just set the cup down and and got another one. I don't mind paying for it but the machine was broken and there should have been a sign. So I get another cup and get a different yogurt and the man comes over to me and says I have to pay for that too. I said I wasn't paying for something I couldn't physically eat. He told me to go back to where I came from and to never come back. As a minority you should treat other minorities with respect. They do not provide changing tables in their bathrooms. As a parent this is incredibly inconvenient. 2. They should offer a child sized cup for yogurt. I usually bring my 2 year old with me and I end up sharing with him because I feel like it would be a waste to put a drop of yogurt in one of those giant bowls but I don't always want to share food with my kid. read more

The coconut had a very strong taste (which was creamy and heavenly), and I could taste the coconut oil that was put into it. The salted caramel pretzel yogurt was just as addicted.
