I've never in my life been asked "what flavor" when ordering a cappuccino. I said "coffee". That kinda upset the waitress. Our 2 breakfast order did not arrive together. Then the "late" meal was the wrong one. I'm already done with mine, so we asked for the order they were correcting to go. Huge mistake. What a mess! Food is plentiful, yet no flavor, scrambled eggs undercooked and watery. Never got the water I asked for. The food was very good. Unfortunately, our orders were incorrect and my credit card was put at risk. I ordered my omelet without onions, mushrooms, and spinach. I received it with spinach and extra mushrooms. I did not receive the sausage I ordered. When I inquired about it, the waitress was very confused. The Oaxaca hot chocolate was delicious! The waffle was good, but you only get 3/4 of a waffle. You don't get a whole waffle. How weird is that? There are no prices on the menu, but the items we ordered were about $15 - $16 each. The atmosphere is cute & casual. When it came time to pay, the waitress picked up my credit card at the table. She returned the receipt, but did not return my card. We stayed for a few mins, but she never returned. My husband went to the counter to ask about it. My husband found this restaurant on google, and with all the great reviews and photos, we had to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. I ordered the green chilaquiles with chicken, which came with smashed beans. I prefer my eggs scrambled, and they made them perfectly, though you can get them any style. The plate also came with buttered sourdough toast that was crunchy, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I also tried their café de olla, which stayed perfectly hot--the way I love it. I enjoyed the food and coffee just as much as the cute décor inside. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. visited this restaurant recently, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it. When we arrived, there were only two other groups dining, and one additional customer came in later, so the restaurant wasn't busy. Our first impression wasn't great. The staff uniform consisted of an extremely thin, tight pink shirt that was so sheer you could clearly see the black bra underneath. Whether that's the restaurant's chosen uniform or not, it didn't come across as professional and wasn't the impression I would expect from a dining establishment. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The table we were seated at had a thick, sticky residue that had built up to the point where it could be scraped off with a napkin and a fingernail. While I was trying to clean it myself, our waitress came over but never offered to wipe the table down or move us to a clean one. After looking around, I noticed several other tables appeared to have the same sticky buildup, giving the impression that they weren't being cleaned thoroughly between customers. To make matters worse, while food was being prepared and customers were eating, the staff started sweeping and mopping the dining room. They were using purple Fabuloso cleaner, and the smell was so strong it gave us both a headache. Cleaning the dining room with a heavily scented chemical while guests are eating made for a very unpleasant experience. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but the quality was extremely disappointing. It tasted like frozen, store-bought food that had simply been reheated. I've honestly had better meals in a hospital cafeteria. The club sandwich, in particular, tasted like inexpensive packaged lunch meat rather than freshly prepared ingredients. The service itself was average--not terrible, but nothing memorable either. My friend wanted to try this restaurant because of its aesthetic, but we were both disappointed once we arrived. Overall, between the lack of cleanliness, the overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals during our meal, the unprofessional presentation, and the poor food quality, I won't be returning and can't recommend this restaurant. read more

Dulce Mami was just okay to me overall. The brunch spot definitely lacked in a few areas, and the biggest issue was the service. The waitresses came across like they didn't really care about taking care of us and were doing the bare minimum. They also weren't very friendly, and it was one of those situations where, as soon as you met your server, you already had a feeling your order was probably going to come out wrong -- and it did. My friend specifically asked for no jalapeños or tomatoes in her dish and still got both, and my fiancé requested no onions and still got onions, so I wouldn't rely on them for any modifications to your order. The food itself was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary, but the portions were solid and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing. Overall, it's not a bad place, but it's also not somewhere I'd be excited to go back to. read more

Hell the picture doesn't list ingredients I just thought it was some sort of caramel topping. Well when she brought it out I let her know oh, I can't have that I'm allergic. She then proceeds to try to take it off with a spoon there's already cross contamination. I saw her and specified to her "I'm deadly allergic". She has an attitude and throws away the frappe. While it's been remade she comes back to me with a menu and points at said item as if it was clear as day to kind of make it seem like I was in the wrong....like what the hell. the place is cute though. The vibe is what drew me in but it definitely seems like they have no actual training, and definitely know nothing about food safety. I'm really disappointed with the service, food, and the time wait. Sat down fair quick only because we were a table of 2 but tables were still sticky. Took the staff a hot minute to get drink orders. Put our drink and food order in at the same time and requested the oatmeal to be brought out first. The cucumber agua Fresca was subpar. Took over 45 minutes to even bring out the oatmeal and the rest of our food. Do not get the oatmeal. Watered down, no milk, no honey, and some of the fruit tasted canned. Mole chilaquiles were okay. Nothing crazy to rave about. Pancakes were pretty good though. Very fluffy. They were definitely understaffed. Need more everything, more waiters, more line cooks, more bussers. Unless their system changes and they get more staff, I don't see myself coming back. I felt bad for my waitress. She was being overworked and kept apologizing for the long wait. I visited this location with my service dog and had an extremely uncomfortable experience. After clearly informing the staff that my dog is a service animal, I was repeatedly questioned, which should not have happened. We were seated, but the questioning continued. The young lady assisting us appeared nervous and even went to ask other people whether it was "okay," which made the situation feel very awkward and unprofessional. It was especially concerning because service animals cannot be denied access, yet it felt like they were trying to find a reason to do so. She came back a second time with more uncertainty, and by that point I felt completely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We ultimately decided to leave. I have never had such a difficult or stressful experience at a restaurant simply for having my service dog. This location clearly needs better training on ADA service animal laws and how to treat customers with respect. read more

food is Delicious, and the space is decorated just so cutely. my only critique would be for the wait staff, our waitress mumbled, was barely understandable, and seemed a little put off by requests. but dont let that stop you from giving this place a try! seriously, the food was incredible. with a little more staff training, i can see this place being something really special. read more
