They accommodated our party of 9 in about 10 minutes on a Saturday night which was very quick and much appreciated. I ordered the chirashi donburi after seeing photos of it on Yelp and the presentation did not disappoint. It was a colorful bowl with 6 different cuts of fish and tamagoyaki. The fish was all fresh and cut in thick slices so I'd say it's worth the money except that the tuna wasn't the best quality. It comes on a bed of lettuce and rice so it's not as filling but it was still hard for me to finish the bowl. It came with miso soup and although it was good I was stuffed. They also gave everyone in our party a small salad bowl which had the most delicious peanut dressing ever. I would buy a bottle of it if they sold it. They were also kind enough to give each of us a mini cream donut which had an amazing whipped cream cheese filling. A great sweet treat to end the night. The restaurant is also decorated with a lot of anime figures, drawings, and paintings which is very cool.
Date: 8/11/2025 Time: 4:30 PM 69° Sunny After a visit to the Kaiser Pharmacy, I decided to have linner at Yojimbo. As many times I have walked by this restaurant, I have never been here. It's my first time, and after perusing the menu, I decided to have my usual - wakame and shrimp/veggie tempura. I sure have been missing out. The wakame was a generous portion. It was enough for two people. The shrimp/veggie tempura was on point and I couldn't finish it all. I thought I ordered the 4-pc. shrimp appetizer tempura. Instead it was a big bowl of tempura. Yummy! Service was great! Waitress was attentive. She even gave me a complimentary dessert - a mini donut filled with whipped cream. The ambiance is one of comfort and casual. Jazz over the speaker system is quite mellow, soothing and relaxing. The display of artwork is beauthfully done. I especially like the Bruce Lee one. Return visit? Definitely for their bento box lunch and ramen noodles. I might even go for the donburi bowl.
What a cool spot. Santa Clara and Park St. easy street parking. This place is big inside. And the staff is so nice. We were a party of 4. The fish was very fresh tasting. I did nigiri, spicy tuna roll & I shared some shrimp tempura. My friend had some sashimi which looked delicious. The dressing has peanuts in it & was tasty. We also ordered which were fantastic. Gyoza. It has a fun vibe & there were lots of families, people on dates, and small groups.
Note that the other Yojimbo location has closed. Went there first before being redirected here. Overall, the location had a higher end feel but still somewhat casual (kind of like PF Chang) and had Spirited Away playing on multiple screens. You're also surrounded by art work and collectibles which was a fun bonus. Food wise, we stuck with the sushi which was good quality at acceptable prices. It's not a steal by any means and it's not the best sushi we've ever had, but we'd come back if we're in the area or in the mood for a slightly fancier feel than our other spots. Favs were the 49ers and the Cowboy Bibob. Salmon skin roll and Peter roll were cheaper (~$10) but they were 5 piece rolls and didn't have as much depth of flavor.
The restaurant has a great ambiance with the awesome paintings and tons of action figures. Now i understand why it is a gallery! And this is why i am giving it 2 stars. The service is as expected. Now the food. The teriyaki salmon was so small and thin, and I think that is why it was sooo dry. The chicken teriyaki was a lot, but was dry and i think it is because they use chicken breast. The sashimi was okay. The california rolls was small and do not seem fresh. The salad and soup were on the house. Both were good. Before leaving, we were given a bite size sample of their ice cream and a cream filled cake like bread. These were awesome and why i am giving another star. We will go back at another time, but for now, i cannot recommend it.
This place is very popular, has a cute anime theme throughout, has excellent customer service, and is very clean! The ambiance of this restaurant is stellar! The walls are covered in anime decor, there's plenty of room, and the noise level isn't bad. Overall, the atmosphere here is quite nice. Absolutely 0 complaints about the restaurant itself. My 4 star rating is purely off the food and prices. The food was tasty, but some items truly lacked flavor. For the price, you'd expect the flavor to be more powerful and savory. Well, let's begin. Their version of the "lion king" which is called Youdontwannaknowme roll was pricy and it lacked flavor. It had an overwhelming cheese on top that actually didn't sit well with 2 of our guests. It was a very heavy roll in terms of how it was sitting in the stomach. It wasn't super flavorful either, it was underwhelming in that manner. It seemed rather plain, but smothered in the cheese on top. The edamame was very very very salty and it was making all of us thirsty. Don't get me wrong, the size of the edamame serving was excellent, but it was super salty. The peanut dressing on the salad is very light and could use a bit of flavoring same goes for the teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken. Overall, the food here was pretty decent. Our table had quite a bit of selection! We had the deep fried California roll 10/10, spider roll 10/10, the Philadelphia 10/10, cokes, red dragon roll, chicken teriyaki bento, tempura appetizer, and more. We definitely enjoyed our time here and will be back.
There are so many things I want to try on the menu like ramen, donburi, sushi combo or just simple bento box. But then I realize I can also add options on everything! Finally I decided to customize bento box which I picked sashimi, 49ers rolls, saba. It came with miso soup. Everything is fresh and tasty. They even gave a bonus dessert which I heard is different everytime. What I got was matcha cream roll which is light and fluffy. It made me want to come back just to taste the surprise dessert!!
Omg!! First you notice is how much of a whole in the wall Yojimbo is! But don't be fooled. The small location can accommodate big groups as I visited with a group of 10. The wall art is amazing and they even have art in the restroom. Parking can be difficult for street parking can be hard to find but there are parking garages near by. The food! First, be aware thelat the bento box meals are hugh! I didn't know and we ordered 3! Had way too much left over.
I absolutely hate to give Yojimbo anything lower than a 4 but unfortunately here I am :( The first time I went to Yojimbo around 2018, I was amazed at the deco, the food, and the portions. However, when I finally came back in 2025, I was a bit disappointed. First, they had significantly downsized this location and opened a new location in another part of Alameda. I had wanted to walk down the halls and look at the art again, but they had closed it off. We had also ordered pork ramen (was this a mistake? should I have ordered sushi) and it wasn't the best. Maybe I've been spoiled by other ramen spots, but the noodles were a bit chewy and sad. The egg was hard boiled which I can't be mad about but I was a bit sad. My friend had ordered the same pork ramen but with a different protein, but his dish came out 5-10 minutes later, which was a bit weird. I may have made a mistake of waiting for his dish to come out before eating and maybe that messed with the quality of my food/chewiness of my noodles. My friend had gotten the combo, which is a ramen and an added side. We ordered the takoyaki but they didn't have it, so we settled for the nigiri which was pretty good, but it was two pieces for an extra $6-7 (I can't remember), and I think you save $1. However, the chashu was really good and melted in my mouth!!!!!!!!! I think that this place has/had so much potential but I'm just not sure what happened. Keep in mind-- I had first come a long time ago and so I had pretty high expectations.
Yojimbo is a classic. I haven't been here in over a decade so I thought I'd stop by on a Monday afternoon. I was seated at a table that wasn't cleaned yet. It took some time for the waitress to take my order. I definitely think she was overwhelmed because she gave our miso soup to the wrong table and almost gave our food to the wrong table. She also didn't bring us water until after our food had arrived after I asked her a few times. It also took us a while for us to get a check. People who arrived after us even left before us. Anyways, the food was great. They definitely don't skimp on their portions.
My favorite Japanese restaurant in Alameda. The downside is parking is challenging to find during lunch or dinner. The restaurant is small and sometimes feels like you're eating in a basement. But don't worry, this place is worth it in every aspect. Not only is their food excellent, but their portions are enormous! My go-to when I come here Is the bento mixer. The bento mixer is the best overall value. The bento mixer requires you to pick at least three items, and it does not include anything. I usually pick four items, which are chicken teriyaki, salmon shioyaki, rice and salad. My bento comes out to $18, and I can get two meals out of it. The chicken is tender and has charred edges. The salmon is moist and flavorful. If you've never had shioyaki, it's marinated salted fish that's grilled. If you're a fan of bentos, come here! You have a variety of options to build your bento.

This cozy restaurant is decorated amazingly. I really loved all the Ghibli references, as well as to other animations. The eating area is intimate and nice, and I really loved the experience for that reason. The prices for bentos are pretty good for the amount of food you get, and the sushi is decent. I would go back if I was in the area, unfortunately there is very little free parking in Alameda. read more
So fresh, and delicious - It's been a long time since I tasted a Red Dragon Roll, Deep Fried California Caterpiller, Mad Max, ahiro maguri nigiri, hamachi, and maguro that fresh! About 15 minute wait, and free gyoza with our order - we ate at one of the two sidewalk tables. In this time of take-out only, I would like a little plastic dish for soy sauce and wasabi so we can eat at s nearby park and dip our sushi in it. read more

Food: 8/10 Value: 9/10 Portion size: large Service: take out only during COVID I love this place! The restaurant inside reminds me of a locals place in Japan. Prices are very reasonable as well. I got the dragon roll and my hubby got the ramen. The dragon roll was delicious! The eel and avocoado were so fresh! And the shrimp tempura was crispy. Everything has great flavor and its my favorite roll. The ramen was packed nicely in two separate containers so that the noodles do not absorb all the soup on our drive home. The ramen was okay. I am very picky though since I've been to Japan and the ramen there was amazing. If you consider it more as noodle soup then I would go for it especially if you want something warm! I've also gotten the chicken katsu here which I highly recommend! It came with a lot of chicken (like 2 layers on my plate) and it was enough for 2 meals! Great food! Fast service. Cute atmosphere decorated with anime figurines and a small tv playing anime as well. The Yojimbo was delicious but a little hard eat because the roll is so big! The Dragon Rolls (red & regular) were great!! I love the many eel options on the menu! My friend also got the smaller option for the bento box and it came with SO MUCH FOOD for such a great price! I will definitely come back. The entrance is a little deceiving. It looks like you are walking into a back door and you pass the kitchen and still cant see the seating area. As you continue down the walkway, tho e place opens up and is much bigger and nicer than anticipated! read more

During COVID, it's all about the little things. Pick-up for takeout was easy and food was packed so nicely with gyoza on the house with a thank you note attached. Loved that extra step they took to appreciate their customers! I'm usually not a huge fan of miso soup or curry (because they're typically just so-so) but I really liked the flavors of these. I kept nibbling bites of my significant other's curry dish. That's what I'm definitely getting next time and I'm not sharing! read more
WHEN: Friday @ 5:45pm Luckily we beat the dinner rush by a few minutes. We were seated immediately after arrival. Servers are very friendly and excellent service as always. It was our first time dining in during the pandemic, we did a bunch of takeouts there during 2020 when dine in wasn't an option, it was a nice change to dine in for once. The owner came out to greet us and asked about the food. She mentioned that yojimbo is expanding to a second location a few blocks away from this current location. The new restaurant will have bigger space, menu remains the same. I look forward to the new location in the next months. WHAT WE ORDERED Build your own bentos, it comes with miso soup. Salmon teriyaki bento $12.50 rice rock n roll roll Chicken katsu bento $21 Rice California roll Tempura Gyoza I don't remember the huge quantity of rice compared to the small salmon teriyaki ratio. Maybe improve the salmon portion for bentos?! Next time I'll be sure to share the rice with my bf. Other than that, the food was delicious and nicely presented. We enjoyed our bento dinners at yojimbo. read more

First time trying this place and they are really set up still for pickup and delivery. They have a seating area but getting through it is kind of strange. So I would just recommend going for a pickup or delivery order. The food was delicious and filling. The service was actually better than I thought based on the entry. The welcomed me in to place an order and the place was extremely clean. They took my order and told me it would take 20min and then offered me a seat in there seating area to wait. They even got me a hot green tea while I waited which was very kind and generous.. read more
The portion size was huge. I was able to save some and had it for lunch the next day. The broth wasn't too spicy but just right. It had a lot of meat which was great cuz that doesn't always happen at other restaurants. I just wish the servers came around more to check in but other than that it was great. read more

Make sure you get the address for this place because you might drive past it. The store front is just as small as small as the entrance that is the kitchen. I have never been in a restaurant where the kitchen is 99% of the space you walk in to get to sectioned seating in the back. Another first was that they haven't served alcohol there since 2017. If it wasn't for the fact that it was late and nothing else was open we would have left. The menue was what I call Japanese fusion based on the name of the rolls being creations more than traditional choices. The bento box combo we choose consisted of what seemed like a premixed California roll dip, lean cuts of , a mountain of iceberg lettus and dry salmon. The best part was the plentiful tempora and meso soup. I wonder if we got "closing time extra helping" This is basicly a Japanese cafeteria where the food and decor is not what you go there to be impressed. Really good hole in the wall restaurant! I was surprised to have a huge serving of Wakame salad, usually restaurants only give a tiny serving. It was so good to eat with the sushi. It was fresh and delicious. Love the Spirited Away playing in the background and all the fun art. Would definitely recommend the food. read more
I think it's no secret that Japanese food is my favorite cuisine so of course I had to review Yojimbo. I have been here a handful of times and have enjoyed both visits (minus the wait). This small sushi spot in downtown Alameda is pretty popular. They have some good authentic dishes and I really appreciate the art and character of the establishment- it really feels like you're in a underground Japanese sushi spot. My most recent visit included the A (Cali roll with lemon slices) and Dragon (shrimp tempura, crab topped with unagi and avocado). The food was very tasty- the rolls reminded me of Geta sushi in Oakland, which is one of my go-to authentic hole in the wall spots. My bf is vegan and was a little wary about his limited choices but he found a few that looked promising. He got the veggie tofu curry, which he really liked- the portions were huge, there was an abundance of veggies and tofu, and it was a decent price. Only thing they forgot to do was remove the egg, which he gave to me to eat. Delicious authentic sushi spot with nice portions and good value- will be back! read more

Yojimbo is an Alameda classic- I've came here a few times back when it was a smaller place on Park street. Have always loved the interior filled with artwork from anime and dozens of figurines. The pricing of the food is also solid- so glad to have a place like this around where the ambiance, quality of food, and service tie in together for an unforgettable experience. The newer location is large, with a 2nd level and high ceilings. I ordered the chicken miso ramen, dragon roll, and sashimi appetizer. Great, great food. read more

Wow...wow...wow First off, let me say don't let the outside fool you. This place does have seating! The place is small but full of Japanese charm. My husband and I just came to have lunch on 12/28 and it was amazing! Come hungry or come with the expectation to share or have some to take home! Portion sizes are tremendous. Husband had the pork ramen with spicy pork soup. He loved it! He said he would return to keep trying all of the ramen! We had the summer sushi roll - & it was so flavorful! I had the chicken teriyaki bento box and let me try it lo you this thing could feed 3 people. I had to take it home. It was delicious. Chicken was so yummy! And the sauce you use with your salad - amazing! Will Come Again For Sure! read more
A cute and simple hole in the wall. Good service and good food. The rolls were decent, but the edamame and gyoza were delicious. For some reason they didn't serve the gyoza with the usual dipping sauce even when it was requested. That was ok since the gyoza was tasty on its own. We were served with tea and a tea pot to keep at our table for our convenience. Prices are fair for quality and portions. I didn't go inside since we opted to be seated outside. read more
Excellent place for bentos and ramen. All cooked items were freshly made, flavorful, and authentic. You will find better nigiri at a dedicated sushi restaurant. Small, cozy dining room with interesting decor. Single bathroom. Service was attentive. Our tea and water was refilled without asking. Metered street parking. read more
A friend and I came before a concert and were on a time frame. There was only one customer in the place when we arrived. We ordered our food as another table for two got seated. The table for two ordered maybe 10 minutes after us and got their food BEFORE us and nearly finished before we even got served. We waited 40 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. Because we were on a time frame, we had to scarf the food down and couldn't fully enjoy it. The waitresses never stopped by our table after dropping off food to ask if we needed water or anything so 2* are knocked off for terrible service and wait time when the restaurant was nearly empty. The food, however, I guess you could say was worth the wait. My friend had the chicken katsu and she basically got a whole chicken. The serving could be for two or three people! I ordered the katsu donburi and was pleasantly surprised by the green onions sitting UNDER the katsu. It helped add a lot of flavor. Food hands down was 5/5 but the service knocked the rating. I would recommend this place if you have time to chat and aren't in a rush. read more

I personally was craving sushi and my faves are anything with unagi or eel. Their Yojimbo roll sure did not disappoint and there's another unagi roll topped with roe that was delicious!!! The quality recently has been very good! Definitely worth the try, the ambiance is cozy and filled with little Easter eggs of Miyazaki movies and figurines. The service is exceptional, not too pressing but also not forgetful. I felt I was served adequately and not disturbed often. The fish was fresh and there are some unique and traditional rolls available! Their katsu is also very flavorful and worth the buy as well. If you visit alameda, you'll have to try this spot. read more
The only reason I found this super hole-in-the-wall ramen joint is because my boyfriend and his friends hyped it up for me. They grew up and went to high school in the area, so this was apparently their go-to when they were younger. I'd only heard of Yojimbo from them as if it were a myth. The faraway place on the other side of the bridge, with epic portions and unbelievable style ;) It was the place they headed to as soon as the first of them got a car, the celebratory eatery when they started getting college acceptances, the final meal together after graduation, knowing said colleges would be sending them separate ways. I didn't know my boyfriend at that time in his life, but it's comforting to know his childhood favorite is still here and standing, and that at least when it comes to ramen, I don't have to miss out on what I did 10 years ago. I wouldn't imagine getting anything other than ramen as my main entree from here. The chicken teriyaki pics on Yelp seem intimidating. If I was still a student, I'd probably order it to get my money's worth in protein. Our wait time was only about 10 minutes--much shorter than I had feared and expected based on my experience with other East Bay ramen restaurants. They let us order while we were waiting. More places should adopt this policy!! The menu is streamlined. You can choose your protein (plain (no topping), chicken, pork, beef, veggies, seafood--I opted for tempura) and your broth (pork, miso, spicy miso, shoyu, etc.--I opted for spicy pork). This seems great for vegetarians because you can customize exactly what to get. My boyfriend is a vegetarian and he always gets the veggie ramen which is topped with asparagus from what I could tell, with Spicy Miso broth. Apparently before my time, there was only one size option for the ramen, and it was Large with a capital L. But now their default size is a small, and you can upgrade to a Large for additional cost. We all ordered smalls and were super full by the end of our meal. I feel like the portion still yet could have been smaller and I would have been perfectly okay with that. There's also a pretty lengthy selection of sushi rolls and other things like rice bowls. Our group ordered a Dragon roll to share (avocado, eel, crab, shrimp tempura). My boyfriend got the Oshinko maki (small pickled radish roll). Taste-wise: The ramen was pretty freakin' delicious. The noodles perfect and chewy, the broth savory and salty, but not too salty. The flavors were quite balanced. The spiciness of the spicy pork borth wasn't too much to handle for me, but it did kind of remind me of Korean instant ramen (like Samyang or Shin ramyeon) in taste. In the future, I might try the regular pork broth or the shoyu broth just so I have a frame of reference. My only gripe was that, and this is really a small one because I kind of liked it, there was a SHIT TON of shredded cabbage on top of my ramen. Yes, I could have taken some of it off. I initially commented that I liked how much green onion, bean sprouts, and cabbage there was to top my bowl, but I was getting a distinct crunch from the raw cabbage in every bite. It got annoying after a bit; I wanted ramen, not a salad! I can't write a review without mentioning the egg... ahhh nothing more contentious than a ramen egg. Firstly, let me say that it's super generous of them to include an egg in every bowl at no extra charge. That being said, it was just a hard-boiled egg. It was NOT a ramen egg. I didn't care either way. An egg is an egg. I would never complain about receiving an egg. It wasn't overcooked, but it wasn't soft-boiled or marinated like some ramen purists might argue. Some Yelpers are complaining about it like they found a spider inside the egg something. If the egg not being authentic is a deal-breaker for you, bring your own egg I guess? The dragon roll was just okay. I've had better for cheaper. The main issue was that the tempura was soggy by the time we ate it. A dragon roll's trademark is that oily crunch of the breading when you bite into it, in combination with the soft, fatty avocado and eel on top. I didn't get that. But the flavors weren't bad and I didn't get food poisoning. I wouldn't necessarily order a dragon roll from Yojimbo again and certainly wouldn't order their sushi in lieu of the ramen. The portions were huge even though we all got small ramens. The price was pretty good for how much quantity you get. I can't even begin to imagine how hungry or high I'd have to be to finish a Large. All that being said, I've never felt more confident in writing a 4-star review. To me, Yojimbo is squarely deserving of 4 stars based on the food quality and service we received, if I'm not being biased. If I am being biased, because let's be honest, I would come back here over and over again just on principle that my boyfriend has holy thoughts about it, then I'd say 4.5 stars. Still, even my biased self isn't too far off. I've never been one to be dramatic. read more
This place is a spot I've visited twice and it's a nice option to have for some sushi or a bento box option. I like the little hole in the wall novelty it has... they get pretty busy with their take out orders and it sometimes causes a lag in receiving their in house orders timely. But still happy with the meal and no complaints. One star less because, well simply, the food isn't mind blowing Japanese cuisine... but it hits the necessary spots, tastes good, fair priced and easily seated upon arrival. Service is fine, they apologize if they are delayed and everyone has been pleasant and attentive. always a hitttttt!! i love the interior space and the vibe it brings with their paintings and cute little figurines!! The poki salad was SO GOOD im definitely going to order this again in the future. The pork ramen was a little below average ive definitely had better. There were too many bean sprouts and spring onion and barely any noodles. The charsiu was a bit dry too. read more

As many reviews mentioned, this place is a very hole-in-the-wall type place. When you walk in, the kitchen is immediately to your right, so I had to do a double take if I accidentally walked to the back of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is super cool and reminds me of how a restaurant would look like in a busy Japanese city (ok I've never been to Japan, but I think I've seen enough videos to make this judgement lol). There was a lot of studio ghibli art on the walls and figurines of other anime (I just started watching Demon Slayer, so it was cool to see demon slayer figurines above our table!). I ended up ordering 2 rolls: the summer roll and the Cowboy B Bob Roll (I also recently just watched Cowboy Bebop so I had to order it hehe) and they arrived beautifully plated. Although we first eat with our eyes, when my mouth started eating, it wasn't as impressed. They were solid rolls, but felt a bit small and pricey with the taste not enough to compensate. My friend got the Salmon Teriyaki bento box which came with a ton of salad and rice, but not as much salmon as I'd expect. I think I'd probably revisit here because of the cool ambiance and to try some of their other menu items, but it's not a place I'm dying to try again. read more
Are we in Japan?! What a great find?! Alameda is living it up these days. Alameda was my hometown but now, when I visit Park Street, it's packing with cars and people! Traffic! Argh! Coming to this restaurant, there was only street parking and that's difficult by itself. I was pretty skeptical once I saw the front because it looks like a old shack. As we walked in was a big art drawing of an anime character which I forgot who it was. You will see the kitchen first as you walk in. I liked that! They greeted all of us very friendly and brought us to our table. Apparently, our group of five had to go wayyy in the back. Surprisingly, the restaurant is skinny but long. Most of the tables are for 4 or less. There was one table in the very back for six. The interior looked so much like places in Japan especially with all the anime art or figurines. I loved it!! Furniture was old and some chairs had holes but tables were clean and not sticky. The menu had a lot of good selections. Prices were decent as well. You get to choose many different bases. You can even make it a large and the large was LARGE! You can make it a combo as well. We had the spicy pork miso base, miso soup or pork soup base and all of them were so good. I didn't know which was better? They are not shy on meat or veggies. Loved the charred pork as it packs in so much flavor! Their bento boxes are customizable!! Lots to choose from. We chose the teriyaki chicken and salmon and changed the rice to salad. It comes with miso soup which was plenty! Their side miso soup is so good too and packs lots of seaweed and tofu. That's rare! I had their Donbuki Salmon bowl. It had plenty of fresh salmon. We also had Gyoza which was deep fried. All in all, everything we had was very good. These ramen soups really remind me of Japan! This place has been here for 10 years we were told and yet we have never tried it. Apparently tonight it was kismet as we were going to another restaurant but realized we wanted Japanese and found a parking right in front! The outside looks attractive and they must have upgraded the front. As we walked closer, I thought it was just a take out place as it looked long and narrow inside and I didn't see any tables. But Dude saw that there were tables and we went inside a narrow walkway to two rooms. Dude wanted to sit in the room in the back which is more quiet. The back room was cool and cozy as the windows were opened on this warm night. There was a flat screen tv on the wall with an anime movie playing. The service was attentive and friendly, always checking on us to see how we were doing. We ordered two bento boxes - one with gyoza, chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu and one with salmon teriyaki, sashimi, and tempura along with a side salad. The portions are good like tapas but looking at the other tables, most customers were ordering sushi rolls. Parking can be challenging at times and we just got lucky. We were in the Alameda area and craving sushi. Stumbled upon this gem! A bit of a hole in the wall but it contributed to the overall charm and ambiance. I'm a huge anime fan so the decor and the movies playing were just perfect while we enjoyed our sushi! We got the Yojimbo Roll, a HUGE portion/bowl of chicken teriyaki (not pictured), and the Leftover Roll, which is pretty much whatever the chef has leftover and it's a surprise! I love the interior and friendly service, but can't justify the high price point. The rolls were falling apart when picked up and unfortunately it wasn't a memorable meal. read more
One of my favorite sushi spots I've been coming here for a few years now . They are currently only doing take out orders . Whenever you get a chance to dine it you will appreciate the great Japanese artwork and animation they have playing . Today for take out we ordered 4 rolls Deep fried California - battered perfectly and with a sweet drizzle Tempura roll was Delicious as I love the crunch and sweet balance . 49er and Philly roll were the rolls that were served with fresh fish . Katsu with Curry was something we tried new and we thought it was ok we will stick to sushi orders but glad we got it try it . read more

I don't know which one is best. Cause i made all menu. But nevertheless if i have to choice one. i'd like say Red Dragon roll.
