So good! My family and I went on Saturday night and we were able to get in around 8. The restaurant itself was very spacious and had plenty of seating. I started off with the lychee Saketini and it was fantastic. The table got Gyoza and edamame and both were pretty solid. We then got 2 spicy rolls and wow they were HOT but delicious! It was relaxed service which was honestly nice cause we didn't feel rushed. Yokozuna was great and can't wait to go back

Did you know they have a Happy Hour every day? We went after a performance at the PAC (around 3 PM) and since some of the rolls were only $5, we had a few. It was a frigid walk so I started with some hot green tea. Ask for lemon and honey with it. We also had some edamame to start. it was steamed and seasoned perfectly. I tried the Golden Driller roll and a shitake roll. I would order both again. I also nabbed a piece of the Hot Mess and would probably order that next time. Everything was great. We were so hungry, I did not snap any photos of the rolls. :(

I came in to grab a bite to eat just before happy hour ended on a Sunday and was able to capitalize on both the food and beverage special thanks to my kind and knowledgeable bartender giving me the heads up and advising me on all the things. I ordered way too much, but it was all so good *and* it didn't break the bank, so I'm going to chalk it up as a win. All that food (edamame, gyoza, tempura sweet potatoes, and three types of rolls) and enough sake to share (large house sake) for $40 plus tip? I don't think you can even buy the ingredients and make it at home (assuming you have the skills to do so) for that much.

The vegan choices are few and are not anything exciting. It's mostly a selection from the main menu with non-vegan ingredients removed. There isn't anything exciting or original to order for vegans. That said, the stuff my spouse, our vegan friends, and I have ordered has been, for what it is, fine. Fresh ingredients, good rice, etc. So if one sets one's expectations properly, you'll have an acceptable time with the food here. Do not go expecting items created for vegans but rather items meant for others, just without non-vegan ingredients. No added flavor, spices, care, concern... The service is great! No one we've had knows what on the menu is vegan, most didn't know what vegan meant, but were nice and did their best to help us figure out which sauces have fish flakes (like bonito) in them, etc.

We had a very good experience at Yokozuna and would return. We had the sampler appetizer, the salmon, sweet and sour chicken and drunken noodles. Service was okay. Bathrooms are clean which is usually a good sign of how the kitchen is also kept.

Yokozuna in Downtown Tulsa was such a nice place to eat! The atmosphere was really welcoming and had a cool, relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed the sushi roll I ordered. It was fresh and flavorful. The mango dipping sauce was so yummy and added the perfect sweet touch. We also tried the sweet potato appetizer with wasabi dipping sauce, and it was so good! Service was fast, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Was a great dining experience, and I would definitely go back again.

Very delicious place for a cozy eat of sushi, salad, noodles, wasabi, wine, beer, or whatever you have a craving for.. it's downtown and always busy. The table service is on par. I do recommend a ramen bowl or the Hot Mess Sushi!!! Don't forget to order a wine.. enjoy the visit and ambiance. Friendly service too. Not bad for a busy lunch Thursday.

I completely forgot to check in for dinner. But Yokozuna downtown did not disappoint! The food was so good, and we got some great prices for happy hour since our reservation was before 5pm. They also have $4 Sapporo drafts after 5pm on Sundays! Our server was great. It was busy likely due to downtown events, but everything was great. It's a beautiful restaurant.

The food was amazing. The flaming volcano roll is to die for!!! The staff was so friendly and even offered us the chance to buy a bottle of the suk that we love

PRICE SHOCK!!! More for less. Sadly it was not as good an experience as last years due to the menu change (no more cheese wantons, no more orange chicken) and the slice bomb is now 2.00. It use to be free then .50 and now a whooping 2.00! I ordered Flaming Lips sushi -yellowfin and crab with jalapeños. Tasted fishy. Not a happy bite. My company ordered the new drunken noodles. A happy thought drowned in tears as the food came out cold, noodles were tough, and the flavor similar to spicy chicken. The thought of a robust combination of Thai basil Chilli diminished at first bite. It was bad enough to return for something simple...chicken fried rice. Which no doubt, the price of chicken fried rice (15.00) wrestle against the cost of me making my own. This was a moment caught during a depressing time in America. Price up, quality and portion down. I'm hopeful that Yokozuna will arise from this demise and return to its glimmering place of success it once was...but I don't think it will.

Excellent sushi place in the downtown. Tried tons of dishes and each one of it was wonderful !!! The server was super good. She warned me that Poke bowl will be very small quantity so I should add a roll with it and that was an excellent suggestion ! As expected, need to pay mobile parking for $8 on the area next to the place. Ordered tempura fried sweet potato fries appetizer for the table ..... simply awesome and great amount for sharing !! Loved it !! Salmon Poke bowl was super refreshing - fresh cubed salmon with sushi rice and fresh cucumbers. Very small in size so for sure recommend to order rolls. Ordered Philadelphia rolls (5). Both were amazing especially Salmon Poke bowl. Tons of vegetarian choices - my friend who is a vegetarian ordered shiitake mushroom rolls and Thai Street Noodles with Tofu. Amazzzing especially the noodles. Another friend of mine ordered Pork & charred scallion gyoza as appetizer along with Fresh Prince roll from the Signature roll category and Nigri Combo. Everyone loved the stuff they ordered. Perfect place for an enjoyable relaxing sushi. We booked the place for online reservation .. best to not take a chance.

This was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the caterpillar roll, Route 66, pad Thai noodles, the fresh prince, and the hello sumo hello kitty. Everything was so good! I would recommend this restaurant for anyone to eat and it's a great place to bring your families. It's beautiful and spacious inside. I would come here again when in Tulsa. :)

I've made a review before because I love this place so much but I've recently tried the kids fried rice and it's so amazingly delicious! It's only got chicken in it but it seems like it tastes so much more flavorful than the adult version and the adult version is really good as well! Definitely checkout the adult version of fried rice and as I always say the tempura shrimp roll is my absolute favorite! Also snagged some super crunchy and amazing crab rangoons! I was surprised at the crunch given it was a delivery! Highly recommend!

Yet and still, there are few restaurants that consistently deliver on 3 of the most important consumer qualities: ambiance, food, and service. As a local Asian Fusion restaurant that embraces both cuisine and ambiance, Roka sets itself apart from most Asian restaurants with their cutting-edge menu items, inviting happy hour deals and consistent service. I didn't eat out often growing up but I vividly remember passing Roka & fantasizing what it's like inside given it's one of a kind design. I was first impressed by their fried rice when ordering out in 2015 but this review is regarding my visit on October 25th, 2025. A dear friend of mine invited me out on a Saturday and I suggested Roka, one of the most reliable restaurants in town. We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings. It's important to show appreciation to the institutions that you enjoy, which is why I will continue to support/enjoy! Roka provides a welcoming venue, satisfactory menu items and superb service upon every visit which sets itself apart from most other Asian restaurants and above chains like P.F. Changs or Hibachis. If you're in the mood for an affordable upscale dinner with great vibes, this is the place to visit.

I'm always on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant as someone who is Chinese American and grew up near San Francisco. Food: Fried pork with salted fish over rice was 5/5. Delicious, savory, and just hit the spot. The pork was thinly sliced and tender. Though I could subtly taste the salted fish in the sauce, I did not see any pieces of the salted fish which was a bit disappointing. However, the ginger and scallions and peppers added a beautiful heat to the dish. (It made me think of a milder version of a Cantonese dish with steamed ground pork, water chestnuts and salted fish but less fish flavor). Kam Heong chicken with rice was also tasty. They used white meat which is not my favorite but it wasn't dry. The lemongrass really shines in the dish. I've never had it before any where else so I googled what was in it and ordered it since it sounded good. Has a bit of heat to it too which I always like. I had read another review where they said it was like home style cooking and I have to agree. Definitely some unique dishes that cannot be found anywhere else around here.
