Holy crapola. This is one of my favorite places in town and this place should not be missed. Every dish was exceptional and damn near transported me. The atmosphere is romantic yet not stuffy. We sat inside but there is a giant patio to enjoy the river view. Service was on point and the server was knowledgeable. I will be back!

We were so excited to try this restaurant while in town. The location is nice and it's on the water. I expected it to be nicer on the inside but it lacked a lot. The service was slow and the waiter was running and seemed pretty lost at times. They were out of the brisket kabobs. We got the wings and brisket fried rice which was really good. The Caesar salad is a no for me, it had a bitter taste. About an hour after we left 5 out of the 8 people in our party had stomach pain and upset stomach's all night. I would not return nor recommend this place due to the food making us sick.

This is an amazing pan-Asian restaurant with a prime location on the riverfront with incredible and breathtaking views of the Arkansas River. Went here with my buddy George Jiang, who is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in NDOK. Very delicious dishes like fried rice, pork belly skewers, roasted chicken, corn cob ribs, and nice beverages like their matcha mocktail. Very attentive and excellent service as well, the server was also describing how the restaurant was a concept from chef Philip Phillips and based on his culinary experiences during travel all around Asia. Highly recommended and definitely check it out if you are in Tulsa!

We went shortly after the new year and had covered patio seating. I mention this because they have a small covered outdoor section with heaters during the winter, but I haven't visited in spring/summer to know if the area is opened wider. It was quite snug in our section, with several large parties, so also very loud. We started with appetizers - they were delicious! I enjoyed a view of the house cocktails. They seem to have seasonal menus, as the menus were different in person than I had found online. Still very good. Food is served family style, although still small portions IMO. The grill options don't come with a side of rice, which we didn't realize prior to the food arriving. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. We will go back, with a reservation to sit inside or during nicer weather to see if there's a larger outdoor seating area.

Oh. My. Goodness. Everything was incredible. I probably said "this is soooooo good" after every bite! Our server was phenomenal (forgot his name ) and brought me a menu that had all dietary restrictions listed when I asked if he knew what items would be gluten free or not. Which, the chef / owner was walking around and came over to tell me that he could probably accommodate anything that wasn't listed as gluten free by using different sauces or ingredients. It was so refreshing to feel so taken care of when it comes to an allergy! My boyfriend and I ordered the Akaushi Ribeye, Half Roasted Chicken, and the Glazed Mushrooms to split. The flavors were spectacular! Everything paired so well together. The steak was the perfect rare (our preference) and the skin on the chicken was absolutely mouth-watering. The perfect balance of slightly crisp while the chicken was still nice and juicy. I'm still dreaming about it . The mushrooms paired beautifully with both the steak and all the flavors that came with the chicken! Everything was absolutely exquisite. The ambiance, the plating, the service, the flavors. 10/10. I've already convinced about 10 different people to go try it

My wife and I went to Daigoro on our anniversary. The service was great and the atmosphere was cool too. The food was a little different than most Asian fusion places we've had, but it was still really good. I would definitely recommend going with a group of friends or colleagues and getting a large number of items to try.

Our Goddaughter wanted to go try this place out and I had heard some good things. Besides, I wanted to see what they had done with the old Blue Rose. We got a reservation which I recommend but there seemed to be plenty of seats at the bar if you're dining solo. We started with the shishito peppers and I loved how the bonito flakes were literally dancing on top. I liked the flavors but all the peppers we ate were extremely mild. (Eating shishitos can be like playing Russian Roulette). I would order them again. Our crew ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, the Mushroom Udon, and the Fried Rice w/Pork Belly. We ordered sides of the corn ribs, the caramel carrots and the zucchini. All of the entrees were delicious. Know that the Udon and the Fried Rice are smallish servings. Of the sides, the zucchini was my favorite followed by the carrots. The corn ribs had a great flavor but were super messy to eat. We had a couple of As Told by Ginger cocktails (their version of a mule) and the butterfly pea tea added such a great color. These were quite drinkable! (Read delicious!!) The cocktail menu is pretty eclectic. There are a few beers on tap. We rounded out our evening with the truffles. Perfect bites to end the meal. The only criticisms I had: *Our server could have been a bit more smiley and helpful. There are so many inventive fusions going on here, it would have been nice to had a rundown on the menu. *It was HOT in the restaurant. *This is an expensive undertaking! *The portions are small. I would definitely order the Udon again. I would also be tempted just to order each and every one of the sides. I would return, especially for drinks and appetizers.

Amazing Service! Everything was timely and excellent! We had an amazing waiter, and he had the absolute best recommendations, plus very attentive! The food was absolutely amazing we got the Full order of Baby Back Ribs, Half a smoked Chicken, Kimchi Potato's, Glazed mushrooms, and the donuts for dessert! I had absolutely zero complaints about the food, everything was tender and cooked to perfection! I have a sensitive stomach and goodness I had zero issues with the food!! We were right on the patio and it was stunning as the sun was setting and it created the perfect atmosphere! All in all I would highly recommend Daigoro! If I could remember our waiters name I would give him a shout out but he was a ginger and his hair was buzzed!!

Located in the former Blue Rose Cafe along the Arkansas River is this well decorated Asian fusion restaurant and bar. I've been so excited to try this new restaurant that just opened not too long ago. I came into town to visit my family and my sister and I went and loved every dish we got! We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Cucumber salad, shrimp Udon, 1 pork belly skewer and two cocktails - tropical depression and they had a special drink of the week (or month? I forgot). Both drinks were really good! We loved the cucumber salad! Very refreshing to eat in between the mains. I think the udon would've been easier to eat if it were not in a bowl but rather a plate. They said each dish is enough to share and they were right! Big portions! I loved each dish we ordered. Service was fast but we also went at 5pm which is when they opened. Diners started coming in pretty fast. We had a reservation only because I figured it would be hard to get a table. It is a pricey restaurant so I think I'd only go on a special occasion

Amazing service. Amazing food. The view out on the patio was beautiful at sunset. The drinks were exceptional. The added flowers to the drinks make them stand out. The food comes out and it looks just beautiful. The taste is exceptional also. I have never had such tasty food. The waiter we had explained everything very carefully for those of us that were new. It was a fun time.

We tried this place for my birthday and it was our first time checking it out. I could have done better with getting pictures of food but I failed because of how present I was for this great experience. First off, the food was fantastic. The garange chicken was amazing. Next we had the Shrimk Udon which was breathtaking. I definitely recommend that dish. And for the other shareable we had the shishito peppers. The lady that served us did a great job explaining the dishes. It was almost like she made everything on the menu herself. Great experience!

This is the new restaurant that opened two weeks ago where Blue Rose Cafe used to be on Riverside. This Asian smokehouse concept comes from the people behind two Tulsa favorites: Lone Wolf Banh Mi and Chicken and the Wolf. The ambiance is great, whether you sit inside or outside. The red lights dragon on the ceiling welcomes you as soon as you walk inside. It has an intimate yet casual feel, especially if you choose to sit on their patio to enjoy the river view. The menu has a mix of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese inspired dishes. Items are meant to be shared and portions are small but hearty. The smoked corn fritters are some of the best I've tried. Extremely flavorful. I wanted to love the ahi crispy rice, but I wouldn't order it again due to the ahi-rice ratio being off. Too much rice, not enough ahi. For entrees, the fried rice and udon noodles are a great pairing. We added smoked pork belly to the fried rice and got shrimp with the noodles. The Thai chili in the shrimp udon made it my favorite. The spice level was perfect paired with peanuts and the citrus of the lime. Highly recommend. For cocktails, my favorite was Tropical Depression (pineapple rum, banane du Brasil, Demerara and lime). My husband enjoyed the house old fashioned. They have a separate wine and beer list. For dessert, we got the dark chocolate tart. It was extremely hard to cut since it was so dense, but once we managed to, I liked that it wasn't too sweet. Finally, service was great and responsive! It was easy to make a reservation online and the host immediately sat us down. Our server was very attentive. Our water was refilled multiple times through the evening. I'll definitely come back.

Pleasantly surprised with our experience at Daigoro . The view gets even better at sunset! The restaurant is smaller than I expected, it spared go have more seating outside than in, but both settings are beautiful. Inside is moody with a huge lit up dragon art piece/light fixture and outside you get riverside seating with good views and a great breeze. They have covered and un covered seating and umbrellas for shade. Our server was amber and she was sweet and informative, helped us narrow down our indecisiveness because everything sounded good. We ended up with an old fashion, yuzu sour, karaage chicken, shishito peppers, and shrimp udon noodles (spicy), and yuzu donuts for dessert. Thoroughly impressed with all 3! It's been a while since we have been wowed with everything we've ordered! Everything has a TON of flavor and left you wanting more. The portions weren't huge but we shared everything and both left feeling full and satisfied! Great place for birthday dinner, bringing guests from out of town, casual dinner, any occasion really! We can't wait to come back and try more.

Yet and still, there are few restaurants that consistently deliver on 3 of the most important consumer qualities: ambiance, food, and service. As a local Asian Fusion restaurant that embraces both cuisine and ambiance, Roka sets itself apart from most Asian restaurants with their cutting-edge menu items, inviting happy hour deals and consistent service. I didn't eat out often growing up but I vividly remember passing Roka & fantasizing what it's like inside given it's one of a kind design. I was first impressed by their fried rice when ordering out in 2015 but this review is regarding my visit on October 25th, 2025. A dear friend of mine invited me out on a Saturday and I suggested Roka, one of the most reliable restaurants in town. We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings. It's important to show appreciation to the institutions that you enjoy, which is why I will continue to support/enjoy! Roka provides a welcoming venue, satisfactory menu items and superb service upon every visit which sets itself apart from most other Asian restaurants and above chains like P.F. Changs or Hibachis. If you're in the mood for an affordable upscale dinner with great vibes, this is the place to visit.

I was excited to see the variety of GF options available. Have been there 4 times in the last 6 weeks. The only critique I have is the sauce on the sweet and sour chicken is almost too sweet. One of the times there was so much sauce it overtook the rest of the flavors. Besides that, they are a solid option for GF food. No reactions on any of the visits which was a win in my book.

I'm always on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant as someone who is Chinese American and grew up near San Francisco. Food: Fried pork with salted fish over rice was 5/5. Delicious, savory, and just hit the spot. The pork was thinly sliced and tender. Though I could subtly taste the salted fish in the sauce, I did not see any pieces of the salted fish which was a bit disappointing. However, the ginger and scallions and peppers added a beautiful heat to the dish. (It made me think of a milder version of a Cantonese dish with steamed ground pork, water chestnuts and salted fish but less fish flavor). Kam Heong chicken with rice was also tasty. They used white meat which is not my favorite but it wasn't dry. The lemongrass really shines in the dish. I've never had it before any where else so I googled what was in it and ordered it since it sounded good. Has a bit of heat to it too which I always like. I had read another review where they said it was like home style cooking and I have to agree. Definitely some unique dishes that cannot be found anywhere else around here.
