Moving back to beaver county after 15 years, I needed pizza place in Chippewa that wasn't a chain. I had completely forgot about Yolanda's! Their website was easy to navigate and order dinner, and gave a precise time of when the food would be ready. The food was hot and ready to go right at the time they quoted, and was better than I remember. They even have a little carry out area away from the restaurant to make it easier to get your food. We got a large pizza with extra toppings and an Italian hoagie. Everything impressed! Their pizza sauce is just like I remember, and the hoagie was filling, lots of meat and cheese with really good dressing. We will definitely be back to dine in sometime very soon! We have been going here for the past 3 years as it is my favorite pizza . The last 2 times we got the pizza the crust was way too big and the sauce almost has a sweet taste to it. It's definitely not the way it normally taste. The dough had no taste to it either . I don't like to give bad reviews but they need to fix their pizza. We had a dear friend pass away here in Chippewa. I wanted to help out the family by providing some food Sunday 10/19. I ordered a 1/2 tray of Chicken Parm and 1/2 tray of Stuffed shells. I placed the order on Thurs for pickup at 4:45 Sunday. It was ready when I picked it up. Everyone thought both items were very good. Especially the Chick Parm. The only reasons I did not give 5 stars is because within 10 min the family was serving and eating. It was warm but not really as hot as you would want. It was probably prepared a little too soon for the 4:45 pickup. The other thing was the price. It was $127 dollars. That seemed rather high for the quantity. read more

I gave them 2 stars because their food is good but the service and online takeout is awful!! Such a shame!! I ordered online and included a 10 percent tip for the kitchen and when we came to pick up our order, they couldn't find it! At least offer us something to inspire us to return!! Nice light buttery thin crust , a nice salty good amount of cheese, a lot of pepperoni, and a sweet yet tangy sauce . Very good mix they found a perfect combo . I can only comment on my experience with takeout but it was great! We decided to try somewhere new for pizza. Intrigued by the specialty pizzas, we ordered the Pierogi, Seafood and Bianco. Our order was ready on time and the pizzas we delicious. We all thought Pierogi was the standout. We will have to try some of their other food in the future. read more

We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in. The owner and her the son the pizza guy, were absolutely a joy to be around. We ordered Thai tiger shrimp, and stuffed banana peppers as an appetizer and pizza calzones and pasta for dinner. I visited here at 7:10pm on a Saturday. There were 4-5 tables open (which should been my clue). It took 5 minutes before the hostesses even acknowledged my presence and we finally got seated. After that, a waitress never entered the room for 10+ minutes. I looked around and there were 4 four tables that didn't have any food in front of them which made me really scared of what I was going to experience. As luck would have it, 2 waitresses appeared and began serving the two groups seated after me and my wife. By this time we were waiting for about 13-15 mins and I was fed up. Note: CASH ONLY! Word on the street (or culvert? this is 'burbia after all) is that the other Yolanda's is superior. Nonetheless, I wanted to come to this one since it hadn't been reviewed yet and is close to Kay's home. I was tempted to just order pizza but fought the urge and went for the Meatball Casserole which is just some pizza sauce, mozzarella, and of course meatballs in a dish. The cheese was a little too chewy, but the meatballs themselves were moderately-sized and were more than passable. The tangy sauce was pretty much the highlight, however. Geez, ladle some of that over something I hate, like brussel sprouts for instance, and I might eat 'em. Our chosen appetizer was the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. They would have been excellent had I been able to taste some crab. Instead I detected gobs of stuffing along with a 1/4 of a cup of melted butter. Poor Kay, I keep forgetting that she despises mushrooms for reasons even she doesn't understand. She had the Chicken Pot Pie Calzone that she only liked for the crust and the extra pot pie sauce that came with it. The cubes of chicken were flavorless as I found out for myself when I sampled a forkful. The homemade Italian dressing I had on my complimentary salad was pretty spot on, nothing more, nothing less. It's nice to have a dressing that doesn't come out of a bottle or packet for a change. The whole time we were there I kept getting a nagging feeling that we should have just ordered a pizza. Oh, and while we're on the subject of pies, they make their own dessert pies in a trio of flavors; Cocount Cream, Chocolate Cream, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Kay got the Coconut Cream, and I had the Peanut Butter. The crust and filling were luscious on both, but the whipped cream topping was a little bland. "See, we should have gone to the one in Monaca," Kay lamented. "But babe, this one hadn't been Yelped yet," I apologetically replied. "Oh you and your Yelp!" Oy vey. I guess we gotta hit the one in 'Naca now. P.S. Our server was as lovely and gracious as lovely and gracious get. I do want to try that pizza, so I might be back if I can get Kay to cooperate. The food was fantastic but our server Mary was horrible. The service was so slow that it took an hour and twenty minutes for gnocchi. She forgot to bring bread to the table and never checked or drinks. When we said something about the bread she got nasty and said it's really busy. I would get take out but if I would ever eat there again (doubtful) I'll make sure not to be in her section. I did something I have never done. I walked out! I have never been a big fan of either Yolanda's, but I really don't like chippewa. I took my son there. We arrived a little after six. We were seated within 5 minutes, but it went down from there. Our server brought our drinks and took our order. Other tables were seated and SERVED before my son got his appetizer, she said it was coming, but it never arrived. We've eaten here 3 or 4 times and it's only ok. The first time the food was great and the serving sizes generous. The rest of the times the food quality was just acceptable and the sizes were smaller. I live nearby and keep hoping for that they'll be as good as our first visit, but it hasn't happened. read more
