The restaurant was nice, very modern and clean, and service was *excellent* (greeted and seated promptly, wait staff was friendly, fast and on point). Unfortunately the food was not up to the same standard. While it was OK, it should have been much better for the prices charges. I had the basic breakfast (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, hash browns). The pancakes were tough vs being light and fluffy, and while the sausage links were large they had no flavor and were somewhat "mushy" ... like eating a hot dog. Total for breakfast was over $29 ... definitely NOT a value. I'll give them another chance to redeem themselves, but I won't go out of my way for that. read more

Best breakfast ever! I had the poached egg caprese and it did not disappoint! I had my 2 year old with me and the service was just incredible! Everyone was so sweet and interacted with him nicely as if he didn't just scream over me trying to feed him his breakfast lol if I lived here, I'd go weekly! Can't wait to eat some leftovers! First things first, had read that yolk was opening in Las Colinas this week and as we like to go out for breakfast, thought we'd try them. Was seated immediately, server came took out drink orders. Then time to order breakfast. Everything was correct to order, cooked correctly, eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. Avocado toast was good, liked the way the salmon was already cut into bite size pieces. Mention this because just last week at another breakfast spot it was large pieces that had to be cut before eating. Don't mind cutting my food, but it's about convenience. Had a mimosa too, it was good, hard to mess a mimosa up, champagne and OJ. Pricing in line with any other Las Colinas restaurants. Service was good without being overly so. You know what I mean? Attentive, but not intrusive. We'll be back and work our way through the menu and let you know what we find next time. I tried stopping by Yolk in Las Colinas at 2:05pm, but the door was already locked. There was someone at the host stand who just shook their head "no" when I tried to come in. Their own sign says they close at 3pm, so I don't understand why they were closed almost an hour early. Even if they were done seating for the day, it would have been better customer service to at least explain instead of just shaking their head. There was a fly in my matcha latte and hair in our food, which is completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns about cleanliness. On top of that, the food itself was bad and not enjoyable at all. The only positive was that the service was good and the staff was polite, but that doesn't make up for the poor food quality and hygiene issues. Came here for a brunch on a trip to visit my in-laws for the holidays. It is a lovely and quaint spot. The host, Louie, was so sweet, welcoming, and had amazing recommendations. The food is overpriced and awful. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. It was a dried stale cut up cinnamon roll but only 1 piece had a tsp of weird gross gummy white goup that they called icing. The other 3 had nothing and I was told to use maple syrup. It has been 4 months since Gianluca P. prompted us to reach out to them via email to "...discuss further and provide more information" regarding the incident where my family was completely looked over by all the waiters and only served water by a worker in the back. Regardless of whether our wait was 10min or 30min, you guys had just opened, it was definitely not busy enough to have other parties have their drink AND food orders taken AFTER we were seated to excuse this behavior. The management here is a joke and I do not recommend eating here, unless you want to risk being discriminated against. Was visiting from out of town and went here for breakfast since it had decent reviews & was close to my AirBnb. Service/individuals working there were friendly and great, but the food is terrible. I ordered the 2 eggs any style with bacon, sausages, and hash/pancakes, plus some coffee. Coffee was bitter and watery. Eggs, although I ordered them fried, were a gross scrambled oily mess. Not sure that having them fried would have improved anything. Bacon and sausages tasted like low-quality re-heated stuff from the frozen section at WalMart. Not only was this place not anything special, but I found the quality to be so low that I'm surprised they charge for it/they can operate a profitable restaurant. Would absolutely recommend NOT spending your money here. Could whip up a much better breakfast on your own at home. read more

So I am from the west coast and my sleep is all messed up I'm 2 hours behind so Texas was moving too fast for me. We came in around an hour before closing. I was a little worried they wouldn't serve us but the waiter sat us down and they took our order. We were the only two in the restaurant. The food was freaking delicious I ate everything I had the cheesy bagel and I was so happy that I could get their "single sweets" which is basically getting a single piece of their pancake, crepe, or French toast. I got the Nutella crepe and it was fantastic. I rarely finish my food but I did this time. My bf got the red velvet French toast and let me have a bite, probably the next thing I order when I come back. It almost looks like they use French bread and the cream cheese frosting omg, can I have the recipe .
