I know there are a lot of great reviews for this place, and we had extremely high expectations. Hate to leave this review, but it was not what we expected. The home fries that came with the ordered Turkey Club sandwich were the worst home fries I ever had. They tasted like old grease that has been sitting for days. I used to work in the food industry, and know what that tastes/smells like. The sourdough bread, which would have been good if it had been toasted correctly, as requested, was toasted just enough to make it taste like stale bread. read more

We ate here for breakfast yesterday morning, and it was decent. I got the quiche (bacon and cheddar), and it was pretty good but not out of this world amazing. I felt like the food was slightly overpriced for the quality/quantity of food received. The coffee was very tasty-my husband got the medium roast drip coffee and I got the special Irish creme latte. Great example of a relaxed cafe that serves a nice assortment of fare as well as a large amount of variations of coffee. This new location is huge and offers large enough seating for meetings and fellowships without disrupting normal flow. They have a regular kitchen as well as a pastry kitchen which means their fresh baked goods get the thoughtfulness it deserves. Good for breakfast or lunch. This is a great place for breakfast. It has a great selection of coffee- either iced or hot. They have a variety on the breakfast menu. They parfait have an abundance of fresh fruit and it's a good portion. Their omelets are tasty and plenty for one person. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Excellent coffee. It is so thick and smooth. I love putting blueberry or raspberry flavoring in their iced lattes. Love that they let customers put stickers with their names on their walls. It's cute and small. Not the best place to sit down and chat bc seating is limited, but I think most people take it to go anyway. Located on a street with lots of other cute places so you can enjoy walking around while sipping their delicious treat. Staff is also super personable. read more

I love this place. While you can get all of the usual coffee and tea drinks, they offer a new spin on many of the old favorites. For example, I had the Yonah made with espresso, white chocolate and raspberry and it was delicious! We were looking for a coffee house and found Yonah. Our hot latte and Carmel frappe were over the top. We had 2 flavors of danish. Wonderful. Staff was very friendly and happy. Very clean. Inside and outside seating. Would recommend this to any one. It is a cafe and we had already eaten breakfast. The breakfast plates looked and smelled really yummy. I give this three stars because the coffee tasted good and the service was pleasant. It took 45 minutes to receive our meal. After that the burger and potatoes were under seasoned and dry. It was 11 am and we asked for the soup of the day. It took 30 min to bring it out. The waitress said they were heating it up in the back so I question if it's made daily. I was out in Habersham today for work, and I had some time to kill for lunch. I've driven past this cute little spot several times and I decided to stop in. Scott (I believe that was his name) greeted me and took me to my table. He was very nice and welcoming and seemed to treat all his patrons as if they were family. He even gave a discount for Hurricane Florence evacuees! I got the grilled pimento cheese, and it was delicious. The breakfast all looked great as well! I'll definitely stop in again. read more

We were staying in Clarkesville but looking for a place that served a late breakfast on Saturday. Just happened to see Yonah's as we were driving through Cornelia, and saw great reviews on yelp. We stopped and had an outstanding breakfast, made from scratch. My dad used to speak about "cat head biscuits" and they serve cheddar cheese cat head biscuits! Delicious!! The best sausage gravy we've ever had; their sausage is homemade. And eggs and grits. It is a gourmet coffee shop; they grow their own coffee beans. Cant go wrong there. And delicious homemade pastries--we took some with us for breakfast tomorrow. The owner, Scott, was so welcoming and friendly and attentive. He has a sign that says: "enter as a guest, leave as a friend." That is how we felt. Yonah's is only 6 months old, and has outgrown their space; so be looking for them in a different location before long. Great prices, too!! We have been going to Yonah Coffee for quite a while. The food has always brought us back. The new staff is poorly trained and their customer service skills Are poor! Not sure who the manager is...but haven't seen owners in quite a while. The staff routinely tries to shut down early, making it very crowded to be in just one space. Each time we have visited we ask for the music to be changed. Loud heavy metal is not "coffeehouse" appropriate. We have noticed that the flies, dust and general cleanliness has gone down hill. When asking questions about the days roast the staff has no idea how to speak to coffee and it info. The young punk staff has very little care and needs some time spent training! What a gold mine of a cafe....we just hate to see it be wasted. The food deserves better management! Also, cappuccino foam/milk was wildly foamy and basically blown up. I know there is great You-tube videos on micro foam and pulling decent shots...please please please take note and management be present. Maybe some secret shoppers would help with reviewing the staff to owners. :( read more
