We only found this our when we requested a payoff from the bank. We contacted him many times and he admitted that he done so and said he will fix. He stayed in touched and did his best to meet my expectations as a costumer. While we ended up getting a better deal at a competing Kia dealer, Brandon was never careless or rude. First of all, as I walked in I explain to them that just came from Nissan on Boston Road and they try to pull a fast one on me. I Assigned to Lou to help me. I explained to them that I wanted to finance a vehicle that was $10,000 or less. I found a vehicle underneath $10,000 and they claimed that they sold it. Lou told me let's go outside to look at the vehicles first of all if you ever been in Yonkers you know that there's barely any lights so I couldn't barely see the cars I picked out a cars and when I went inside we went to the Carfax. I explained to Lou that I didn't want anything that had damages or was in an accident. He quoted me for the card for thousand $12500. No accidental damages. He was rushing me I could barely even think he asked me for the referral letter from the bank saying that I was preapproved I gave him my drivers license he told me to call to make sure they have insurance and to get a quote from the insurance company. After verifying the insurance company he went to put the paperwork through. First, I had a preapproval letter from capital one they ran my credit and they told me that td Bank give me a better interest rate. First of all, I never asked them to run my credit with another bank beside capital one. Upon going to the financial management office. Which was Matt who I was dealing with I asked him verbatim what is the price of the vehicle in total interest and everything....(total) he told me 17,000. So I signed the contract he told me that the DMV wasn't open. so I couldn't do the paperwork for the plates, that I will have to wait until the next day and that the car wasn't ready because they were changing the tires. I didn't feel right about it so I ask a friend to accompany me to the dealership because he knows more about cars. When I came to pick up the car which they told me is going to be done by 2 o'clock then by 4 o'clock then by 6 o'clock. Upon arriving at 6:15 I was already upset when I looked at the car it wasn't the car that I wanted to purchase he convinced me that, that was a car and that I didn't even look at the car well. I was highly upset because I didn't want the interior to be a nude color. Before driving off I thought, check IN and around the car my friend started checking around the car and we noticed several different issues with the vehicle. The left side side view mirror had two screws Barely holding the mirror down. The plastic underneath the tire was all gone so underneath the whole engine part was exposed. There was a crack on the front bumper the windshield wipers weren't factory they were aftermarket windshield wipers I could have purchased on eBay for $10 and the gear changer didn't have any grip which I never seen coming out of a dealership. I was so surprised that I spent $17,000 + $7000 for interest for a used vehicle that was in such poor condition I could've had a better job finding one on craigslist without fee and interest and less headache. I went off on Lou and he promised to fix these problems in three days to take the car of the dealership and to come back Monday to fix all the issues they had the car the whole time why wouldn't they fix that before they sold the car to someone. Lou's favorite line was I didn't work in this department I don't work in that department but they sure did take my money. As I'm going to pick up the paperwork after going off on Lou. As I was reviewing the contract I realize that the car wasn't $17,000 it was $17,000 +7000 interest. I asked him why did he lie to me about the car being only $17,000 he said that the interest is from the bank and then I can come back and re-finance the vehicle in six months. I was so upset. My car is a damn hoop Dee $25,000 for car that I could have just bought on craigslist without the headache once I'm done with this I refuse to work with them again so I know if you sign a contract and you are dissatisfied you have two business days to cancel the agreement. Make sure that you get the agreement printed out before you leave out no matter what they say. Don't sign a contract at all because they are scammers. They will do anything to get a sale to make money. Make sure you see the car during the day time and have all contract printed before signing a contract through the computer. Horrendous customer service. I came in to purchase a car. I had spoken to Ashley for over a week about a particular vehicle. Received emails confirming what I wanted and showing me the available options. I made an appointment for 10 am. When I arrived no one was really on the floor. A gentleman came to me asking if I had an appointment, I say yes. He looks me up and says my appointment is with Jhonny. I told him, I only spoke to Ashley but ok. He then says that Jhonny is running a bit late, should be arriving in 5 minutes... 20 minutes later, Jhonny enters. 1st nuiscance... Jhonny then asks what car am I looking for, I tell him... He says they don't have that car in stock and he doesn't know when it will be back in stock... At this point I'm livid. I explain to him that Ashley called me the night before after 6pm to confirm and mentioned the car I was interested in... He says I don't know why she would tell you that, she must not have checked the inventory. He also says they sold the last Seltos the night before. He tells me he doesn't know what to tell me, shows me the computer and says "Just in case you don't believe me, let me show you the inventory " There just seemed to be lack of care from the beginning. No one checked the inventory before I drove out of my way there. Arriving 20 min late without an apology. Then not even a try to tell me about any other car... I received more customer service on the phone from another Kia dealership than I did here in person... You would think when you walk into a car dealership a week before Christmas, the sale people would know that you need a car, its not like you are shopping because you are bored an a Saturday afternoon. The minute we walked in the door, three sales people standing at the north end of the show room, not one of them greet us. My husband walks over and said he is interested in seeing a used car he saw online. Two of the sales people basically are arguing with each other trying to get out of helping us. Horrible customer service. Do not go see salesman named Tony Ramos. My sister went to purchase a car and the interaction with him was poor. First, we waited for about 20 minutes. Tony would walk by, back and forth, and not even acknowledge my sister. Then, she asked about a car on the website (when he finally assisted her). He told he that he wasn't sure if they had the car. Then come to find out, they don't even have the car, but he'll show her an alternative. He said he had to leave to go to another garage to get the alternative, and told my sister that she'd have to wait for him for about 20-30 minutes until he got back. He asked my sister for her number and said he'd get in touch with her as soon as he got to the other car lot. As soon as he left, my sister and I left and she ended up at the Nissan dealership right across the street. The customer service experience was literally like night and day! She was greeted, welcomed, and given options. She ended up purchasing a vehicle from there instead. The employees of KIA have no consideration for their neighbors so I doubt they will have consideration for someone buying a car....They park illegally all day in the neighborhood leaving garbage and filth behind. We have complained numerous times and never had these issues with previous car dealerships. I guess they don't care about the people of Yonkers that they are supposed to be providing a service to. The part that gets me is they said they would cover my insurance but it came off of my card then it took ova two weeks just to get that back and til this day I'm still waiting for my check from 3 months and 20 days. My family has been unfortunate to have dealt with Yonkers Kia for my daughter's last two cars. I can't begin to tell you how terrible this dealership is from day one! They see a young girl coming and take such advantage! Their service department lies continually when she gets oil changes, telling her she needs other things done. It has happened during many oil changes. When we take the car to our mechanic, he tells us they lied. She recently went to change her car from a lease to a buy, and the amount she is paying per month on a two year old Sorento is literally enough for her to have a brand new luxury car! Let me start off with this-- "I have never had my patience tested as much as it was today". Im a working woman and so I made an appointment for service and inspection for 8am. I arrived at 7:45. No one attended me until 8:30. As I sat there waiting, I was watching my car parked for 1hr. I asked for an update and no one came back to me. As I continue to watch my car parked and not being touched I asked for a manager at 9:30. The manager came at 9:45am stating they are short staffed and that he will get it going. While all this is happening Im seeing people arrive and leave. I would ask the customers what they were there for- some the same as I, others didnt even have appointments!! Once I thought I was done, boom -all of a sudden my car has two bubbles in two tires. They gave me a discount for the tires for my wait and free inspection. I agreed to the tire replacement. At 11:30, I was asked if I want a carwash. Are you kidding me. I rescheduled all the morning patients I had and addition I had to shell out $300 dollars. Im super frustrated, Super pissed. On Oct. 31st 2019 I leased a 2020 Sportage from Yonkers Kia dealership on Central Ave, Yonkers, N.Y. They signed a Lease Return Packet stating that the Kia dealership was buying out my lease for $828.06 to Infinity Finance for the Disposition Fee & last month's payment for the early return of my 2016 Infinity. For more than a month and a half, this Kia dealership has not paid these fees & I am very concerned their negligence will affect my personal credit standing. I have made numerous phone calls to correct this problem, but no one seems to care. They told me on numerous occasions that the check had been sent but Infinity has yet to receive it. Getting my car serviced right now in Ohio and was told the oil filter wasn't changed the last time my oil was. Thanks for the half hearted work Kia Service Yonkers! Kia Service Yonkers also told me that my engine was damaged and that metal filings were found in the oil pan, which I just found out was not true. Watch this place. Read their comment too. Hilarious canned response. You ALWAYS change the filter when you change oil. If you don't it's misleading because any reasonable person thinks you changed it. You don't make up stories about metal filings in the oil pan. If you do you are misleading customers to try and trick them into buying a new car or undergo unnecessary repairs. Thieves, stay away. I turned in a Toyota Rav 4 that was near the end of my lease to them on August 19 2018, and picked up a Sorento. The Sorento is nice, but here we are in April of 2019 and they STILL HAVEN'T TURNED IN THE RAV 4, which was due to be returned on JANUARY 7th of 2019. I've gotten nothing but the run around from them about this, while I'm STILL being billed by Toyota for the Rav. Tony is completely useless, making promises that he never kept, including not ever calling me. Fucking asshole. I have been to their dealership 5 times now, and each time they say "we don't know where the Rav is", then when I get testy with them they "find it and we'll turn it in asap". Crooks and liars that they are, they have yet to turn this in OR fulfill their promise to pay for all additional charges since they've acknowledged each time that this is THEIR fault. If I could give them negative stars I would! Apparently Yonkers Kia has experienced a walk out of all its mechanics this evening. In the past 3 weeks we have visited this location 3 times. Once for a scheduled appointment on a recall and the part was not in. They didn't bother to call and say the part was not there instead had us drive up to Yonkers from the Bronx knowing the car wouldn't be serviced that day. During that same visit they some how did the software upgrade without even having the car and called several hours later to tell us the car we physically had with us in the Bronx was ready for pick up in Yonkers. Since then we took the car to have the oil line replaced and that day they failed to do the software upgrade since they some how magically completed this task with out actually having the vehicle. After that we have received multiple calls from Yonkers Kia stating our part for the oil line came in which leaves me to think it was never installed to begin with. Tonight we come here after speaking with a service representative earlier in the day only to find out all of their mechanics are packing up a u-haul with their tools and leaving, not for the day but for good. Then after arguing about having an appointment the car got in to their shop with god know who "fixing" it. I asked for a manager and was directed to a Darwin who could not be located I was then sent to an Andrew who said come back another day when we have mechanics who know what they are doing. I asked for a corporate officer number and was told there is no corporate office. After googling a number I was able to find a corporate number and spoke to a representative who will follow up. For those of you who only like reading the first line and want to get back to your instagram- I had the BEST experience at Yonkers Kia, ask for Miguel (who's photo I can't find on here, as he's come from another store) and Emily Cummings, they are a dynamic duo who worked as a team to help me get my new Kia Soul GT 2020 for what seemed like a ridiculously great price, while making me feel valued and important. For those of you have a greater attention span and prefer a better story, read on. I had been driving a crappy old Ford Focus 2004 for the last year (was getting set up in New York and needed something to get me around) and I was really in the market for a used Compact/Sub Compact SUV, and Elexes Rodriquez had seen an online enquiry about trading in my old Ford and called me up saying they would take it and they had a used 2016 Honda CRV (a make I was interested in) and would I like to come in and look at it. We got chatting, and I let her know the kind of things I was looking for, and she brought up KIA and the types of models they had that were comparable. I had NEVER thought of buying a KIA, and would never have considered it if it weren't for this first conversation with Elexes. She sounded trustworthy and kind and patient. I then got talking to some work buddies, one of which had a Kia Soul that he had put on 300,000 miles driving from Florida to New York and back constantly for years- he said he loved it and had no problems at all. So call it fate, but my awesome call with Elexes and speaking to my friends convinced me to go and have a look at some Kia's. When i arrived Elexes greeted me and introduced me to Miguel- THE MAN! I was up front and told him I wasn't really looking to buy for another 4 weeks or so and was checking out the market, and he was super relaxed about that and not pushy at all. He showed me their cert-pre owned stock, but also wanted to let men now about the awesome Kia Summer Cash Back deals they had on newer models. I walked past a Soul 2020 GT Line on the show room floor and jokingly said, that's probably out of my price range. He punched the numbers and the deal he managed to put together for me was going to be cheaper than a 2016 Honda CRV with 35,000 miles on it, but a new car with Kia's fantastic 10 year, 100,000 mile power train warranty. He took the time to do a mock sale for me, printing out a sheet of the trade in value of my s***box Ford (I knew i was going to get peanuts for it), with all the taxes, rebates, DMV charges etc. etc. so I could see EXACTLY what I was paying. He then worked out based on my down payment what my estimated finance costs would be as well. I left with a wealth of knowledge thanks to his patience. I went to many other dealers that day, but my mind kept coming back to the Red GT Soul and the price. I knew that the price may go back up as August was starting and the rebates might stop. I called him a week later, the car was still there and told him I wanted to come for a test drive. My work schedule is crazy right now, so I had to come in on the ONE DAY he wasn't there. But No Problem. He spoke to his manager, and they guaranteed the same price he quoted a week before, and from home on his day off (gave me his cell for Personal Service, amazing) he put me in touch with his old Pal Emily and organized with her to set up the car for a test drive and that she would take care of me- NOT ONCE DID HE TRY PERSUADE ME TO COME IN LATER WHEN HE WAS THERE SO HE COULD MAKE THE SALE HIMSELF. I came 25 minutes later and Emily Cummings had the car on the curb ready to test drive. This girl is one bad xxx xxxx! Super professional, running around the dealership managing everyone and never stopped hustling for all the hours I was there. She took me on her fav test drive route with hills, and curves, it was a blast (although I drive like an old blind Grandma). We then sat down, and they honored exactly the awesome deal quote sheet and even a few hundred bucks better than the print out i and gotten a week before. She even called my insurance company on my behalf to help me up my insurance needed to finance the new car. When I realized just how much I was going to pay extra on insurance, I nearly called the deal quite right then and there. She encouraged me call my wife, talk it out, and kept me calm and focused. After weighing the pros and cons I decided to go ahead- the deal was too good to be true- way below any other dealer I had spoken to or found online for this model of car. They got the paperwork finalized while I drove home and picked up the downpayment and my wife to come for the final signing. Long story short, a few month after I purchased this car I was in an auto accident on interstate 84 and totaled the car. went to kia to fill out the paperwork to get my prorated warranty money returned to me. according to Allstate the policy was cancelled 02/26/18 and dollars were supposed to be returned to me. SCAMMERS: be aware. Yesterday I chose a sorento to lease . price tag: 30800 minus the incentive of $5250 for leasing from house. I had a trade in (kia soul) for $10500 towards the lease. After they made me wait 4.5 hours I entered into management office where a guy with a Spanish name (Carlos?) eventually tried to change the sticker price to 36800. He was non stop talking and clearly trying to distract me. He added an extra insurance on the vehicle that I repetitively asked to be removed. But he didn't. Going from an additional $65 monthly to $38 monthly . After, I asked to show me the vehicle price and the residual value of the car at end of lease. He refused at least for 30 min Insisting on the fact that such were not key information as long as my monthly payment is what I agreed upon (from $212 to $248 monthly due to the added insurance ). But asked me to sign the contract without such info. I insisted many many times (at least six) telling that it was important for me to know because I had intention to buy the car at the end of lease or early. Eventually he printed the numbers in the contract showing $36800 as vehicle price. At first he tried to convince me that 36800 was the price after taxes and fees. Once I pointed out that the contract states differently and the total price of the car was now exceeding $42400 he told me that it was actually the price I agreed. Nowhere in the contract was stating that I was goung to receive a check for my trade in as well. Also I asked if I could just buy the car few months after leasing without penalty and I got no straight answer as well. Just awful. They try to make you tired for hours of waiting and try to scam you after. Definitely a place to avoid . kia just lost at least 3 customers and, if you are reading this, you as well. 10.10.18 update: yesterday the general manager and one of the owners called me and apologized for his employee behavior saying that he will be reprimended. He invited me to meet with him today because he "wanted to earn" my business and give me a better deal by removing all middle men earning . he was very articulated and convincing . so my (pregnant ) wife and I ended up going at 4.30pm as per agreement . the GM was not there but another manager greeted me and stated he was familiar with the situation . during more than one hour talking he clearly was not informed of the lies that his colleague told me neither of a better deal promised by his boss. He just tried to sell me another car without a true apology. When I asked to speak with the GM ge said that his meeting was still going and did not want to bother him. Another wasted trip. We spoke and he introduced me to Lindi, who was very upfront and honest when I told him the bottom line price I wanted to pay. They made the deal happen. And beat the closet price by $50-$60/mo for a Kia Optima. I recommend Lindi to anyone who want a no pressure purchase and honest dealing. Would Also Like to Mention that John Molina the finance Rep was a gentleman to work with. He did an excellent job walking me through the signing process, helping me decide what extra protection/warranty's were worth taking. He was fair in his pricing. As someone from The Bronx I found it amazing that they still use old school meters that only accept quarters. I am not sure if you all know but as of mid-December, Yonkers Kia has new owners and let me start by telling you WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I WAS (keyword, was) a very disappointed Kia customer, I leased my vehicle 3 years ago, I went back for scheduled maintenance and received horrible service numerous times in the dealership and on the phone to the point where I have been taking my car to another Kia to get the maintenance work done, as has my boyfriend, so I know it was not just me. I recently took a chance in contacting Yonkers Kia as my lease was near the end. I was nervous at first because of my bad experience with them in the past but, it was a TOTALLY different and outstanding experience. The first thing I noticed that was different was the fast response time I received from a simple email. To be honest, I was shocked. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner who was extremely kind and understanding. Criss Castle was the main person that I was working with regarding my lease, she is extremely responsive, helpful, kind and very honest. Criss is actually the one who informed me of the new owners and explained the background of the company which was very interesting. When I went into the dealership to return my lease, Daniel Toro assisted me and he was GREAT! He explained and walked me through the process to help me better understand everything. He answered all of my questions, and he made the process go smoothly- I was not in there for more than 30-40 minutes which is a record if you ask me! Daniel is a very open, honest, kind, and very helpful person. Both Criss and Daniel made my experience at Yonkers Kia, a great one and that is why I want to share that with all of you. I am an auto broker and I contacted Yonkers Kia to purchase a Pre-owned BMW X3 for a client I was representing. They are in a time sensitive situation involving turning in or selling their current leased SUV, which the dealership indicated they were interested in the option of taking it in on trade. I was told the BMW was available by the salesperson, Ramon Mendoza, but was at a different storage location 45 minutes away. Per their request and in a timely fashion, I provided the necessary documents and information about the trade-in and my client, the purchaser. I repeatedly contacted Ramon over a period of days, being told that he was waiting for answers from his manager. Feeling increasingly frustrated at their lack of urgency to get this information to me, I emailed Ramon pleading for numbers, only to be told that the car had been sold at their other location and sorry but "it is what it is". This several days long experience could have had a much more positive outcome had it been handled properly and efficiently. Now we are back to square one in our search! While it's possible Ramon may not be the ultimate reason that this situation played out the way it did, it is management's responsibility to insure that customer's requests are addressed. There's three hours of my life I'll never get back. Pleasant and accommodating at first, nasty when I decided to comparison shop and price out elsewhere. The closer is a neophyte who proffers the party line, "Trust me" and "What do I have to offer to get you to buy this car now?" He even suggested a starting price that was what I wanted. As they wrote me up, they added a $700. fee, another $400. fee and so on. . . Goodbye. On top of all that, the salesman kept saying how he needed to feed his kids (at least three times.) So sorry I ever came here to look at a used car my kid found online. We sat for 3 hours trying to make a purchase before finding out they didn't even have a clear title for the vehicle. The sales rep tried to get us to sign a BLANK contract, WTF? They also took our deposit before we even talked to the finance manager, which didn't happen until the next day. Also, they will give you some BS story that the interest rate is based on the year of the car. LIES! The next day It took us an additional 2 hours to close the deal. The "Sign&Drive" is a myth. It's sit around in the lobby for hours dying a slow death until they finally get your paperwork. Don't recommend. Will not ever do business here again. If they hadn't taken my deposit, I would not have bothered to ever come back. read more

Do not waste your time here ! My kia rio 06 was brought in at 7am yesterday, and they did nothing to it! Said nothing was wrong. Obviously something is wrong. Why would I bring it in if nothing was wrong. I have to pay them a huge fee for nothing because they "spent time looking at it". Also, can never get anyone on the phone, takes them 10 minutes just to connect to someone who is kind of helpful. Do not waste your time, or money. read more

Horrible experience! The moment I walked through the door I was discriminated against. I am a young Hispanic women who wanted to buy a car and right away I was paired up with a young Hispanic gentleman around my age. I sat down he asked me a few questions about my place of work how long I've been there and what I was looking for . He then asked me to sign a paper where I was confused what I was signing and he explained it was to check my credit . I told him why is he checking my credit if he hasn't showed me a car . He got upset and said I thought you wanted to buy a car today so I told him if I see a car I like I'll buy it but you haven't even showed me a car. He said for me to come with him and he'll show me . He then stormed off with myself behind him and opened the door. He looked out in the distance and asked if I even know what credit is . This was completely insulting to me . I was very much discriminated again as a young Hispanic woman if I would've been a older white gentleman there wouldn't be an issue . I spoke to the manager they set me up with another gentleman and apologized but I felt like it was simply to cover their behinds because I was then introduced to the most diverse person they can find he explained to me that he was black white and Hispanic.i saw a car on their website and he explained it was in another lot and for them to bring it I would have to actually give them a deposit which I definitely didn't . He said due to my bad experience he'll do me a favor and just have them bring it out for the following day. The next day I come in and the car was a hot mess. It had two different tones of black exterior paint. He told myself and my companion that I can't look at the paint from the side but straight forward . Just ridiculous and nonsense he was trying to tell us. The black plastic outlining was ash white as if it was washed out or in the sun . Definitely not pieces of a car from 2018 . I will never buy and will always discouraged anyone to buy a car from this location. I am completely disgusted and have never experienced anything like this in my life. I will always remember this and feel deeply about it . It has left a horrific name for the brand KIA. read more

Ordering a car from Yonkers was an absolute nightmare. After putting money down, I was quoted 5-8 weeks for delivery. Instead, it was 3 months before they could get me a VIN. When my car finally arrived 3 weeks after that? They sold it to someone else, probably because my salesperson was out sick. Stay far, far away! read more

Shout out to Julio Grullon man. I just went over to take a look and see the cars as I had done some research and wanted to see if I would be interested in getting a Kia. I met Julio there who asked me as many questions as he could possibly think of just to get a feel and find out what would be the best car for my budget and I went in just to take a look but I was more amazed with his service that I decided to get the car on the spot.
