The place had really good donutzzzz! In town for a few days and gave them a nice try. Yum We just left the bowling alley and the kids wanted dessert and this was one recommendation made by our friends who now live in Az. I opt for the mini nutzzzz because it gave me 4 flavors. We were in the mood for ice cream and decided to check this place out. The inside was pretty standard for an ice cream place, but bright and colorful. The staff was helpful explaining everything. Our order had 2 shakes and one smash donut. I was intrigued to try the pebble rebel donut. When it arrived, I noticed there were no pebbles. I asked the staff and they said they were out and didn't realize till they were putting on the toppings. Then I look and there was no capn crunch either. Once again the staff said they ran out. It was a cute donut shop, pretty clean. Workers were nice and patient even though my mini and are indecisive. Donuts: I got a "gourmet" donut. Regular donut filled with Dulce de leche. Saved that for the morning, microwaved for a few seconds and the donut was soft, filling a little warm. I had half of it, mini had the other half and it was great with coffee. Definitely would eat that again but if it was just for me I'd probably need the smaller size. Our experience was great. From the moment we walked in we to the moment we left the entire staff was attentive. It was our first time going so we weren't sure what to expect. We were in town for vacation and wanted to do a treat after lunch and saw this. My kid immediately screamed " yes !! I know that youtuber. Can we go?!?!" I had no clue about Yonutz before going. The sugar coated one tasted a bit odd. Maybe the premise is more that it needs lots of other ingredients though to be tasty? Parking was easy. The employee/younger kid working the counter gave off a could care less about customers vibe and his shirt had some bikini clad girl on it, which I guess if the vibe is for high school and older kids, it makes sense, but for a elementary age kiddo and family, the loud music + employee who didnt like to smile seemed to be too cool for us. Not sure if that's suppose to be the experience ? But it was definitely the opposite of cold stone. We were the only ones in there so maybe the music was purposely loud to try to keep people from staying inside to eat? So minus a star cause I didn't feel like we were welcomed to be there. Came here between games for my sons tournament last month. It was pretty early and this location had just opened its doors. My son saw the place as we were driving, searching for a spot to grab some food between games and to waste some time.... I've never heard of the place but he and apparently my other two boys have as well. They've seen TikToc videos I guess or something g like it, and this kid has the biggest sweet tooth and if he gets the chance he wants ALL THE SUGAR! They kicked ass and won their game so I figured a sugary pick me up would be ok since he had enough time between games... usually we stay away from this sort of stuff during tournaments. But YOLO and it was the first time seeing this spot, so why not. He was thrilled- the young man working with here was cleaning when we walked in and greeted us and asked if we had been before and how it all worked- my son explained he had seen on social media but I wanted to know how it worked. :) He was kind, thoroughly helpful and made it extra special for my son- who was thrilled to be there!! This place made my son's day!! I'll be back with my other two boys as well. They were jealous they weren't with us to get a treat too. Excellent service, cute and colorful inside and clean, and what a fun treat to have once in a while. :). Way to separate yourselves from all the other donut shops in the valley and elsewhere. We heard that a Yonutz location opened in AZ and wanted to try it out. It was a little tough to find because the location isn't on their website yet. It's between Hall of Frames and Fly Bye in Desert Ridge Marketplace. It's closer to Albertsons than the mall. When we got there, it was very busy! There are only 6 tables there for seating and we had a group of 5 so we had to wait for people to leave first. We ordered and even though we had the free doughnut coupon from the loyalty program, they couldn't honor it because their location wasn't synced up yet. We ordered the Cookies and Cream Smashed Signature Creation. It sure was cookie-y!! My 10 year old daughter and niece approved It reminded me of the Baked Bear that we used to love going to in Scottsdale (pre pandemic). We also got a simply smashed with mocha ice cream. The mocha flavor was very subtle, didn't overpower the lightness of the doughnut. They have regular and filled doughnuts but we went too late in the afternoon. The case was pretty much picked over but some of the flavors looked really intriguing. I wanted the Biscoff Salted Carmel or the Samoa. Maybe next time. Visited this location 2x and it's overrated. The first time there were two younger boys working and they were very nice and attentive. I ordered the Nutella filled donut and it was very dry, granted we came late in the evening but I'm not sure how long the donuts sit in the container. The next day we came and there were 4-5 people behind the counter. Seemed as if the girl behind the counter was the only one working and the others were chit chatting and paid no attention to the customers. We asked for spoons and they just looked at us and continued to talk. My daughter found a hair in her donut filed icecream and the lady at the counter was the only one who apologized and made us a new one. The smashed donuts weren't as advertised, they didn't warm up either of them that we got and they were made with vanilla ice cream instead of what was on the menu. They also added things that weren't on the menu. What was more concerning is that on the s'mores smash donut they put a Nutella spread instead of the chocolate that was on the menu- which if my son was with us would have sent him into anaphylactic shock.
