I came here with friends on the night of the Korea vs. Mexico World Cup match. They have a few TVs, but depending on where you're seated, you may end up with a great view or a bad one. We ordered the premium short ribs, which were delicious. We also got the marinated short ribs, which were solid, and the pork belly, which was cooked perfectly the way I like it--crispy and cut into small, bite-sized pieces. The banchan (side dishes) were good as well, and even though we didn't order one of the beef and pork combos, we still received soup and Korean steamed eggs. Korea may have lost, but the friends I was with made up for it. I enjoyed my experience and would recommend this place, especially for lunch and their mul naengmyeon and galbi special. * 4.5 stars * BYOB

THE GOOD ---------------- + Fantastic food + Lunch Jungsik LA Galbi and Lunch Jungsik Bulgogi were excellent and very filling - came with soup, salad, rice, banchan and lots of meat! + Pajun Korean style scallion pancake with shrimp and squid was a spot on great scallion pancake + Corn Cheese mixed with melted mozzarella and mayo dressing was solid too + Service was swift and excellent + Very spacious and modern interior THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Food is a litttttttle pricey, but the weekday lunch is a fantastic deal RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = There are seemingly 2 parking lots - one on each side of the restaurant = Fairly empty during weekday lunch times, but assuming it's much busier in the evening

    - Quiet Monday lunch at 11:30a; a couple of other tables joined in as we were eating - Very big restaurant with lots of tables/seating; each table comes equipped with built in grill and vent pipe for BBQing - Food was very good--meats were well seasoned; lunch sets came with single-serve banchan dishes, rice, bean sprout broth (piping hot), and fresh lettuce leaves; LA Galbi was still sizzling when it reached our table! - Efficient and friendly service; we were greeted right after entering and led to our table; food came out fast, hot and fresh - Free small vanilla soft serve per guest with your bill - Current mix of songs were playing softly so you are able to have your convos - Plenty of food with the lunch sets! Will be having leftovers for dinner ;)*

One of my favorite spots in all of Bergen county and NJ to eat Korean BBQ. The place inside has a lovely ambiance and the design is modern. The service is always good and I usually get a seat as soon as I get there. Since it's close to home I enjoy coming here and having dinner without having to drive far.

The most valuable and one of most recommend Korean BBQ in Fort Lee, NJ. The restaurant is clean and neat with chill vibe, good for hangout with friends during weekend. The food is pretty good. I like the Galbi Jjim, the beef short ribs is tender and well cooked with hot sauce. The service is okay. The staff is very patient, I hope he give more smile when serving us.

This chilly weekend calls for some serious comfort food! Anyone else feeling the urge to indulge in something hearty when it's cold out? Gathered my friends for an epic Korean BBQ feast, and it was pure satisfaction! We went all out with the Beef Combo large (for 4) for $199--featuring a lineup of brisket, rib finger, ribeye, short ribs, and marinated short ribs. The best part? The staff grills it all for you, just sit back and eat! Plus, the side dishes and dips that come with it are not to be missed. Try not to fill up on them though; it's a challenge! The Scallion Salad was surprisingly refreshing, nothing boring about it! The Egg Souffle was absolutely dreamy , and the Denjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) with tofu warmed us right up. For starters, we tried the staff-recommended Eggplant Salad for $15--fried eggplant with crispy potato bits on top, giving off a hearty "Di San Xian" vibe that's just delightful. The Bibim Naengmyun ($13) was another standout--a cold buckwheat noodle dish that's mixed with a special sauce and perfectly complements the BBQ, cutting through the richness. And to top it all off, free ice cream at the end! What a perfect way to end a fulfilling meal. Fresh, generous portions of meat and high-quality sides. You leave without that lingering BBQ smell--definitely a win! Who's joining me next time?

One of the Korean BBQ places that we frequent in Grand Avenue in Palisades Park. BYOB Valet Parking And the option to enjoy the different parts of either beef or pork. The place is quite spacious, and with the benefit of being BYOB, it's great for a gathering. We were 5 in our party, and ordered the Large for 4 ($199) with scallion pancake, fresh beef sashimi and noodles later. The server grills the meat at a different table and brings it to our grill on the table, so it is quite convenient (not sure whether this is only for a large groups since the last time we were there, three of us, the bbq happened on our table. But, as with any Korean BBQ places, our clothes and hair wreaks of bbq after we get home !!!!!

Came with some friends for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy which was good. Got the large beef platter for four and pork platter for four along with Galbi Jjim, galbi tang and seafood pancake for the table. Really great value of quantity here where I felt like the meat just kept coming lol. They partially cook the food in the back and then bring it out to finish on the grill so your clothes aren't absolutely stretched after the meal, so that was nice. All the food was really tasty, even the apps on the table so would def recommend trying this place out if you're with a large group!

We had a reservation for 7pm on a Sunday night and the place was calm. Our table was already set up with a line up of banchan, beautifully arranged and looking appetizing. Eggplant salad was fire! Egg souffle was so fluffy, as expected. We got the Large Beef for 4 and an order of Pork Belly. They did the grilling and they did change the grill for each kind of meat, keeping it sanitary. I enjoyed making Ssam out of it, because their looseleaf lettuce were just so fresh and crispy, the meats were properly grilled and the right seasonings were right on hand. I loved the way they served food here and I'm definitely returning. The place is byob, I heard, so hey...but the Valet parking? So unnecessary.

We had an excellent experience here! Thought the beef small set wouldn't be enough for 2 pretty big eaters but it was actually a LOT of food bc multiple meats + egg souffle + stew + tons of banchan + vanilla soft serve at the end. The meat quality is also really great, they cook it for you and everything was perfectly medium/medium rare. Egg souffle had cheese on top which I loved. Super worth it IMO! We also got the beef tartare a la carte bc we thought we'd still be hungry after beef small set but should've just gone without the tartare bc it was meh - the meat should've been grounded/chopped up more. Restaurant is really big and they have valet if you're driving. No wait on a Sunday night. Service was extremely quick. We ended up just walking since we had gone to king spa right before and it was a 5 min walk which was convenient.

Saw this new restaurant opening and knew I had to visit, after seeing full tables almost every night! With a new and spacious interior, the first thing I liked was that my clothes/hair don't reek of the barbecue smoke! But of course, we have to talk about the menu: For a party of five, we ordered the Pork Set (for two), two lunch specials, and one entree. This was plenty of food for us! The Pork Set features three types of meats - which you can enjoy with the trio of sauces they serve for each person. At a value of $79, there's so much cooked and served - so definitely do not miss this! Pro tip: The lunch special also serves complimentary soft serve ice cream - the ice cream was actually so so delicious we were all surprised. It'll leave you wondering if this is a 고기맛집 or 아이스크림 막집!

My partner suggested this place for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. We got the large beef combo, which is definitely for more than 2 people, but we were really, really hungry. It came with plenty of meat and sides. I really liked the rib fingers and marinated short rib and all of the banchan were well done too. They cook the meat for you here and all the servers were attentive and friendly, but it did make the experience feel a little more rushed than if we were to cook ourselves. We got a complimentary eggplant salad, which was really nice. Overall, a great place to take people for kbbq.

living next to fort lee, i have been to probably 10+ KBBQ places in my life. i can say that this one is the best one i've ever been to. when the ribeye entered my mouth, i saw colors i had never seen before. everyone should bring their picky-eating parents here. recs: denjang jiggae, which comes for free ribeye, which is expensive but worth every dollar

There as one older waitresses in particular, whose name I did not catch, but she was exceptional in her service -- to not just our section, but to everyone. She seemed to understand well how to cater to the restaurant patrons, taking into consideration that we were grieving a loss of a family member/friend. The food was excellent. The "banchan" side dishes were fresh and savory with continuous refills. They provided us with appetizer of the two types of "jeon"s - when was seafood and one was kimchi. I ordered the super sized "galbi tang" (갈비탕 - Short Rib Soup). I say "super sized" as it's quite larger in quantity than any I have ever had in any restaurant! . They had already pre-sorted the meat from the bones which usually are included in this particular dish. The amount of meat was incredibly abundant and absolutely savory and soft to chew. The meal was so big that I packed most of it to go and it sealed up almost to the top of a quart container! Other guests tried the "oohguhgi galbi tang" (Short Rib Cabbage Soup - 우거지 갈비탕) and "bibimbap" (Mixed Rice with root vegetables - 비빔밥) which looked delicious and ample in quantity as well. The restaurant is located off-shot from Lemoine Avenue In Fort Lee (soon after you cross Main Street) and turn into their driveway right before Charim Restaurant/Paris Baguette Cafe. Parking is plenty for free and the entrance has stairs and ramps for wheelchair/walkers. The bathroom is to your left as soon as you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Service is prompt and courteous (with exception to one younger waitress who was a bit curt and ignore requests but the older waitress I mentioned prior really saved the day! ). The managers were professional and helpful in directing the guests to the right places. Overall experience in food and service was 4.8/5.0. Q Grill was recently named top 10 KBBQ spots in NJ/NY. Will definitely visit and enjoy their other menu selections!

Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. AND, they offer sushi here which may seem tempting but I do not recommend. Not very good and looked like supermarket sushi. Just come for bbq meats. Parking: they have a parking lot in the back!

Everyone left stuffed and I even had leftovers for the next day. I didn't get to eat everything but here's what I tried. The duck combo, pork combo, nayengmen (cold noodle I butchered the spelling I know sorry) and corn cheese. They don't do the brisket sauce like they do in la. Instead I think it was a mixture of miso and vinegar? With onions soaking in it. Paired perfectly with the pork. I've never had anything like it before. The thin cut pork belly was probably my favorite out of all the pork. The marinated duck combo was pretty interesting. It kinda felt like a ttkekbokki dish? But a little light on the rice cakes. The duck itself tasted like some really good charcuterie. It was a little too spicy for me but super good. We ended up opting to throw everything into the fried rice at the end and it made for some perfect late night leftovers that I'm enjoying as I write this review. Lovely place, hope they do well. We ordered a selection of items from the menu, including ribs, baked beans, brisket, potato salad, cornbread, and mac and cheese. However, I was disappointed with my order. The brisket was cold and dry, colder than the potato salad and the plastic-wrapped cornbread sides it was served with. I had to drink two glasses of water before I could even finish it. It appeared that they had intentionally left it out for an extended period. The mac and cheese was also disappointing. It was bland and unappetizing. A box of Kraft Blue Box mac and cheese is gourmet in comparison to the tasteless mac and cheese they serve as a meal. The ribs were the only item that was decent. In portion size. They tasted charred as if they had just come off the grill, but they were still bland, lacking flavor, seasoning, and moisture. The half-ounce sample of BBQ sauce that they provided was the only thing that saved them. Perhaps they should pour more of that into the condiment cups. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment. Coffee Shop furniture and decor just screams to go, but I write this so you don't go. The prices are high, the staff member is excellent, and the food is subpar and of low quality. I would suggest visiting Dallas BBQ instead.

Came by on a search to fill our Korean fix (sorely lacking in Philadelphia). We had to wait a…read morelittle bit before being seated, but were able to get a table for our party of 7 on a Saturday evening relatively quickly. I'm personally no expert in Korean restaurants, but I'm usually around folks that are, and this is a solid to above average place based on my experience and their opinions having gotten a variety of dishes (Pajun Uguji Tang, Galbi Stone Pot Rice). Our banchan also was delicious. They even had the spicy squid here, which I hear and personally have experienced to be pretty uncommon due to its niceness, so that elevated my opinion of this place already that they not only served it, but also refilled it for us when asked! I personally got the Haemul Soondubu, and it came out hot and deeply satisfying. Flavors were on point, and service was pretty quick. Overall, the feel here is pretty homey, flavors are on point. My only knock if anything is that the prices are bit high for my liking and what I ordered, but I think it's got to be this way to survive this close to the city.

The Yugaejang was also on point, but a little under salted, but I was okay with it. We also got this stone pot pork dish and, aww man, it was worth every bite. The rice was crispy, yet fresh. The Korean side dishes were so fresh and tasty. It didn't taste or feel like it was going bad and still being served. Either I came on a good day or the food is just amazingly tasty and fresh. That's what I really appreciate. The only downside was that it was a but pricey, but I do understand that inflation has hit hard. One dish per person for five people plus tip was about 170.00. However, I would still return as much as possible because the food is so good.
