The Meat Bros is an AYCE Korean BBQ spot in Fort Lee & was not too shabby! It is $40/pp (including children!) and I thought that for the price, it was very good. Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. Came party of 7 on a Monday at 3pm with no waiting. The place is empty. Our waiter is attentive & nice. All the meat came fresh & delicious. Sushi & rolls were also good. Isnt it just great when you have a positive experience dining out? Thursday night dinner at The Meat Bros was a good call. Service was prompt when we went and what I love about the place, aside from the food, were the pleasant interactions we had from staff. Not just a particular staff but every single one we encountered from the moment we stepped in until we finished. We didnt have to keep flagging them at all since they are all attentive and were usually the ones to ask if we need more food. Smiles were given, not just to us, but the other customers as well, it was great! The food was definitely enjoyable and all the meats we ordered were delicious and of good quality. The Pork belly and Kalbi were our favorites. The Kimchi fried rice was surprisingly good as well as the sushi. Awesome AYCE K BBQ. I was planning to visit Meat Bros again next month .. and found out it was permanently closed. We were in NJ in October and didn't have a chance to visit. This was actually my first time having KBBQ lol and it was a great time!! We went for all-you-can-eat lunch, which is the same hefty price as all-you-can-eat dinner ($39.99 per person). It's a lot, but can be worth it if you order and eat a lot. There's also a 2-hour time limit, which is reasonable and we didn't feel rushed at all. Leftovers are charged $15/plate. The service was good-- the servers came frequently to take our orders inbetween each round, changed the grill plates every time we ordered a new round, and brought our orders out quickly. When seated, the tables are prepped with a plate of kimchi and other pickled veggies and 2 bowls of spring onions and salad. Each person gets a bowl of rice too. The menu, which you can order anything off of, ranges from marinated meats, to raw meats, to small cooked dishes (i.e. korean fried chicken and kimchi stew), to sushi rolls. With the exception of a few which were good, many of the cooked dishes were mediocre. However, the meats were amazing: high-quality, well-cut, fresh, and well-marinated. Cooking the meats on the grill plates was a fun and enjoyable experience. Hit or miss situation here. Service was alright and confusing at times. Showed up on a Saturday night and was quoted 40-50 minutes. The hostess didn't take my name or info until I asked her if I should do so which felt odd especially since I wrote it down on a separate piece of paper. The rest of our party arrived without me and was able to walk in and just get a table without an issue and still never got a call back informing me about my table was ready. It's probably one of the best AYCE Korean BBQ in the area! The menu has abundant options on the meats. We tried several different meats on the items and honestly I like every single one. I especially enjoy the head on shrimps and we reordered several times because we just couldn't stop eating them. The shrimps are unbelievably fresh and the shrimp meat is so bouncy and sweet. Unlike most Korean BBQ places that cook meats for you, you will cook your own meats here, but I don't think this is a bad thing. I enjoy cooking the meats as I could pace myself. They weren't even seasoned or if they were, so bland that when you grill them, you need to dip them in a sauce to be able eat it . I am not inspired to give more details of the foods because we didn't enjoy them. You need to have those drinks to feel full. Otherwise, you will still crave for some dishes that will captivate your taste buds and yearn for more. The service was good and the ambience is spacious but the foods were mediocre. There is a parking lot in the complex so you don't have to worry about street parking. It is good All You Can Eat KBBQ for a decent price. There is a time limit but I felt the workers were accommodating if you go over. I highly recommend getting the beef brisket and kalbi. The meat is tender and will be worth what you pay for. How this place has 4 star rating is beyond me. Is yelp a pay to play system for restaurants? No the servers were fine and attentive. Ambiance was ok and nothing to complain about. THE FOOD!!!!! I go to Kbbq buffet expecting not the best prime cuts but at least give me something resembling mediocre level choice grade. The meat here is a disgrace to the Korean people. We are better than this. Sushi: you guys ever go to a Chinese buffet and there's a single guy in the corner rolling out subpar California rolls with some pink tuna on top that no one really touches. The sushi here resembles that but worse. Actually I would go as far as to say if you put them side by side... the Chinese buffet/supermarket sushi is better. The amount of rice they put is triple that of the "fish". The "spicy tuna" is orange and looks like it comes from a can. I love a solid AYCE spot and have been to quit a few in the area where I can offer a great insight comparison when it comes to this place. I had had my eye on this place for awhile now and did not hesitate when my friends suggested we come to this place for dinner a few nights ago. First off, I think it's awesome that they offer both Korean BBQ and Sushi here (many places really don't offer both). So that is a solid plus. Both sizes are pretty big, I believe they can seat up to 6 people per booth. They have a pretty extensive meat menu but they lack on the side dishes you get kimchi, salad and bean sprouts. The Sushi I thought was delicious and they can in decent sized portions! The meat was a hit or a miss- a lot of their meats were on the fattier side and I felt they could have done a better job seasoning their meats better. Also when it comes to meat, they bring a little out at a time which this is where it got pretty annoying, the service here is a little sloppy. Everyone's your waiter here and the constant need to flag someone down for more food or water was a little much. There were long breaks in between hoping we see someone to get more food. There was all you can eat bbq meats and seafood, sushi (not sashimi), and a few cooked dishes you can choose from. Everything had to be ordered and brought to your table. The orders came out rather slowly though and were small portions each time. The ordering was also pretty disorganized, probably due to short staff. It was unclear who we should order from, and a number of our dishes were missed. We asked 3 different waiters before we got water pretty late. We came on a Saturday night, and it was about a 20min wait. We were seated at 9pm but didn't know the last call was at 9:45, even though they closed at 11. We ordered a few items before their kitchen closed, but only 2 of them came. The food quality was not great, even for an all you can eat place. The meat was super fatty but was marinated well. Given that there are so many options in Fort Lee, we will probably try somewhere else next time. read more

AYCE $29.99 per person for dinner I went in on a Friday night and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 2. They aren't taking reservations and only accept walk ins. I noticed some people were temperature checked while I was not. The waiting area was kind of small and there wasn't much social distancing. I surprised to see that most of the restaurant was full to capacity. We sat actually pretty close to the other tables. We were given cold tea and menus. It took a while to flag down a waiter then I realized they had a call button. We started off with beef brisket and LA kalbi. Make sure to ask for multiple orders because one was not enough. The portion of the spicy squid was pretty large and tasty. The miso marinated pork belly was a lot smaller than the regular pork belly but was quite flavorful. By the end of the meal we were stuffed! Service was pretty quick in receiving the meats. They offered to change up the grill twice throughout the meal. Definitely check in on Yelp to get a complimentary beer! read more

As a party of 5, we were able to order 5 meats at a time and as many appetizers and sides as we want. The food was fresh and really good. Didn't have much to work with the BBQ meats authentically. Unfortunately this place you need to go with a game plan because staff will ignore you to kill your two hours of unlimited food. Also they charged my daughter who's under 4 feet regular price and she barely ate anything. She only ate like 3 shrimps and little of the sides. The menu was overwhelming for us being our first time there. No patients in explaining no or suggestions. I would try it again but with out our child to really get a full experience.
