Easily my top 5 favorite bbq spots of all time! Only problem is it's located in New Jersey! Need to have one in NYC! Staff were super attentive and quick on service! All the banchan were top noch! Best marinated galbi I've ever had!!!

Came here late at night craving gopchang and didn't want to go into the city, so this Fort Lee location was a convenient choice. We ordered the beef intestine combo with large intestine, small intestine, tripe, and rice cakes. The assortment was generous and easily enough for two people. The intestines were properly cleaned and grilled, with no off smells, and the tripe had a nice chew. Rice cakes were a good addition and grilled well. We also ordered the seafood pancake, which was surprisingly good--crispy on the outside and soft inside, not overly greasy. Overall, portions are large and satisfying, especially if you're specifically craving Korean-style beef intestines late at night. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected for this type of restaurant. Solid option in Fort Lee.

THIS PLACE IS FIREEEEE!!!!! I will genuinely go back tn if someone could go with me. The meat was quality, the banchan was fresh, the service fast. The ambiance Clean casual and busy!

    We liked this combo, too.

We came to this location to celebrate a birthday. The decor is nice, the service is great, and the food was delicious! My personal favorites are the cheesy corn, the rice cakes, prime rib, and fried rice. We will be back for more!

This is truly a hidden gem. My experience with Korean BBQ started in Koreatown in midtown manhattan. For the past decade it's been a similar experience wherever I go UNTIL my visit to Obaltan. This was different in 2 aspects; 1) they offered shellfish, and 2) the cooking surface was a deep pan instead of the raised dome grill which I was used to. In fact at the end of the meal, they made a fried rice with the seasoned pan that was delicious! However, ALL of the food was delicious, and the service was friendly & attentive even though we were close to closing time. This is a MUST if you're in the area!!! (Plus on the weekends it seems that they do karaoke upstairs!)

Def a place better for a group of 6, esp if you want to try live clam grills. The portion is just quite large. Overall very good besides a group of 4 we each had to eat 5 clams Spicy Stir Fried Pork & Vegetables - good but didn't know there's a lot of rice cake in the dish as well should have be indicated. Spicy Bai-Top Whelk With Vegetables & Chewy Noodles - it's a cold dish, very spicy good flavor. Make sure you sign up waitlist beforehand as the store is small.

This is a kbbq restaurant that's extremely seafood oriented as well! We didn't wait too long for our reservation, which was during busy hour (7:00pm on a Saturday). We ordered the clam combo, which came with the seafood Casino on the side. Also, we got an army stew and corn cheese, both of which were very good compliments to the main course. This is a good spot for couples, but it also is accommodating to larger parties as well. We did a hike and were able to properly refuel after. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to try the meat combo next time.

Good spot for Kbbq in the Fort Lee area. Not busy on a Saturday night, July 4th weekend, fresh ingredients, good service, (Owen is the bestest! - great attitude, attentive). We had the prime beef and seafood special. Definitely more than enough food for 3 people.

Came here with some friends on a Thursday night and got a table for six no problem. It's my first time having seafood barbecue, and I am hooked the clams with butter garlic are super clean and delicious, everything was so good! The veggies are delicious too. I mean, focus was hanging out with friends but i definitely wanna go again to write a more detailed review

I had this place book marked and came after pickleball. Sadly I'm disappointed. Everything here is so sweet and I'm not sure why. My japchae was overly sweet the salad was super sweet and the bulgolgi soup was sweet. I think the only dish that was decent was the seafood soup and the kimchi fried rice. Service was mid. Water wasn't refilled and we had to ask for rice for our tofu soup.

Top notch Korean Cuisine, open late night till 2am, that's always a plus.. Staff Very Pleasant, helpful and on Point.. Alan our server was the man ...A+ they make their own dressing that they put on your starter salad, and it is by far the best salad dressing I have ever tasted!! Meats for barbecue is of high-quality and worth the $$.. their kimchi fried rice is also very good. Try them out if you like K food, won't be disappointed..

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 7 Value: 6 Overall: 7 I'm craving some of these grilled clams right now. I know most people don't think of Korean food when it comes to seafood. However, this late night restaurant specializing in grilled seafood was the perfect place for me after a concert at Metlife Stadium a few weeks ago. The package we got had three tasty scallops with cheese for the grill and a delicious egg soufflé. It also came with three banchan, which is pretty minimal. However, the worst for me was the shrimps and mussels, which I really don't want. All I need are those juicy and briny clams to be satisfied. This is not a place I would come often, but a place I will come back to whenever I'm in the mood.

You get a lot of food and the food is delicious and the meat is high quality. The service is always fantastic. We had a big party and were seated right away on a weekend. The waiter was patient and they were thoughtful of the 3 kids in our party, bringing utensils and plates for them. I think of Wooga often. It's so yummy. But if you want to gauge price a little, we went with 4 adults, 3 kids and ordered japchae (glass noodles), kimchi pajeon (pancake), 2 bottles of soju, drinks, a meat set that came with soup, 2 types of pork and 2 types of beef and it came out to about $350, tip included. The meat was fresh and tender, and grilled up beautifully alongside some mushrooms, garlic, and daikon on the tabletop grill. Loved that they threw in fresh herbs (rosemary/thyme) on the meat too -- nice touch. Banchan was plentiful and kept coming, so you're never short on sides. For dipping, you get a choice of garlic scallion sauce, soybean paste (ssamjang), or just salt -- all solid options depending on what you're grilling. Service was attentive and quick to help with the grill and refills without being intrusive. The restaurant has a big dedicated parking lot, which made getting in and out so much easier. Will definitely be back to try out the intestine options.

Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. AND, they offer sushi here which may seem tempting but I do not recommend. Not very good and looked like supermarket sushi. Just come for bbq meats. Parking: they have a parking lot in the back!

I'm personally no expert in Korean restaurants, but I'm usually around folks that are, and this is a solid to above average place based on my experience and their opinions having gotten a variety of dishes (Pajun Uguji Tang, Galbi Stone Pot Rice). Our banchan also was delicious. They even had the spicy squid here, which I hear and personally have experienced to be pretty uncommon due to its niceness, so that elevated my opinion of this place already that they not only served it, but also refilled it for us when asked! I personally got the Haemul Soondubu, and it came out hot and deeply satisfying. Flavors were on point, and service was pretty quick. Overall, the feel here is pretty homey, flavors are on point. My only knock if anything is that the prices are bit high for my liking and what I ordered, but I think it's got to be this way to survive this close to the city.

The Yugaejang was also on point, but a little under salted, but I was okay with it. We also got this stone pot pork dish and, aww man, it was worth every bite. The rice was crispy, yet fresh. The Korean side dishes were so fresh and tasty. It didn't taste or feel like it was going bad and still being served. Either I came on a good day or the food is just amazingly tasty and fresh. That's what I really appreciate. The only downside was that it was a but pricey, but I do understand that inflation has hit hard. One dish per person for five people plus tip was about 170.00. However, I would still return as much as possible because the food is so good.

We ordered the lamb skewers, pig skin, and stir-fried squid -- all of which were delicious. I also really enjoyed the cucumber scallion salad served as a side -- super refreshing and pair well with the meat. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner is friendly, and the overall vibe is very relaxed. They also serve beer and soju, which is a nice touch. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the seasoning on the skewers -- I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Also, while the electric grilling machine is convenient, it doesn't quite deliver that smoky taste you'd get from charcoal. That said, everything we tried was delicious, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended for a flavorful and satisfying meal!
