Yorktown Auto Body was the only one who said they could repair my bumper without replacing it. This alone saved me several hundred dollars on the repair cost. Got into an accident in the middle of moving to a new place by myself, horrible timing, very stressful. Found Yorktown through my insurance and they were soooo helpful, lifesavers really. The entire staff are so professional and genuinely friendly and informative. While my car was being repaired, Nick called me frequently to give me updates on the progress which was so appreciated. They even offered to try to find me a ride home so I wouldn't have to use Uber when I dropped off my car. The sweetest. Picked up my car today and was blown away. Not to be dramatic but I would argue it looks even better than when I first bought it! Plus they cleaned the entire interior for me?? And again- was in the middle of moving and so it was very messy to say the least. Also as a young woman alone I will say their staff were so respectful, didn't make me feel uneducated or small or ashamed and made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process which is really important. Great job with my car. It had multiple dents on both side and when I picked it up, it looked brand new!

Today was my 2nd time going to Yorktown Autobody. My GF has a Beetle, and previously these guys had repaired a deep dent in the tailgate and done a really nice job. The paint was perfect and all the gapping was nice and straight. Now recently she had to replace the window motor. We went to a different shop and when we got the car back, the window wasn't installed correctly. We bring it back and they finally get it right. Cut to 3 months later and again the window isn't tracking right. Also, the interior trim is coming off the door! So she decided that she would bring it to Yorktown Autobody to see if they could fix it. Now normally, they don't do strictly repair work. If the repair is part of an Autobody job, fine. But just the repair? No, not normally. But they have assembled more than their share of doors and the technician was sure he could fix it quickly. They took the car that morning and had it ready for pickup by the afternoon. The trim is now correctly attached and the window tracks perfectly. Overall it was exactly the repair experience you want. No upsell, no delays, and a tech that quickly diagnosed and repaired an issue that our previous shop failed at twice. Needless to say we are stoked. Bring them your car when you bang it up. When she got it back it had a new large dent that they claim was like that but we all know that the shop refused to take responsibility for the new damage. If i could id give it 0 stars. Yorktown Auto Body is by far the best experience I have ever had with an auto body shop. I managed to hit my own garage leaving my house in the morning -- yeah, I'm an idiot -- and the damage was pretty extensive (see pix). The repair process from start to finish was seamless, professional, and friendly, and the job they did was outstanding. Super convenient with a Geico inspector and an Enterprise rental service on premises. They called throughout the two week repair to keep me updated and my car was ready on the estimated day. It's like I have a brand new car! They fixed up some scrapes and bruises elsewhere on my car for free as well. And cleaned my car inside and out. Well, they did it again in surpassing my wildest expectations on my car repair. Thank you Steve, Mark, Karen, Kathy and all the rest for another amazing job on my car. I have used this shop in the past and knew the work they had done, so when someone used my car and got several deep scratches that needed repair and paint, where else would I go? As I told Mark, the last car I traded in the dealer wanted to downgrade my trade in because it had a bad repair paint job from an accident. I said " I think NOT, I had the repair done here by your body shop" So the dealer is not always the best place to have your car repaired. Yorktown Auto Body is..by far. Beyond the work and professionalism, they are warm and friendly. Im moving away from the area, and dread needing anything done to my car again because I know no one anywhere could ever compete with the work or the open friendliness of the staff. I have an Audi A5 convertible that I simply love and my car looks like it just came out of the showroom inside and out. I was the victim of a hit and run which left my otherwise pristine 2018 Infiniti Q70 badly damaged. The left rear quarter panel, light and bumper needed to be replaced. YAB was recommended as a certified Geico express repair shop. I dropped off the car the same day as the accident and was given an estimated completion date of 2 weeks. I was upset at the driver that hit me and took off, and at the damage to my car. Steve and Mark quickly took care of the paperwork and gave me the attention and care I needed during such a stressful time. The rental vehicle from Enterprise was also waiting for me at YAB. I was pleasantly surprised when Mark called me within a week to tell me the car was ready. Not only was the car like new, they also buffed out any minor scratches from the car. There is always a love-hate relationship between car owners, mechanics and auto body shops. You don't like going to them but when you need to, it's nice to know you can trust and rely on them for excellent work and customer service. I will definitely recommend YAB for any auto body repairs. Had the worst luck of getting my beautiful Subaru impreza hit by 2 different people in less than a month. Thankfully one of their insurance companies was Geico, which led me here. If you know me you know that my car is my child and having her get hit twice was just as bad as not being able to drive her for weeks at a time. While I was upset it took two weeks to repair a door and back bumper, the results made it all worth the wait. I literally just picked her up from the shop and she looks brand new, inside and out. The customer service was amazing, workers were extremely friendly and professional on all ends - the shop, geico, and enterprise. I've never quite had such a great car experience, even at my Subaru dealer. To top it off the sent me home with a cute little bottle of touch up paint. Couldn't be happier. read more

My truck had broken down on the Taconic State Parkway on a very cold evening during the height of heavy traffic, and Yorktown Auto Body came right away to get me off the parkway safe, and towed it to his shop for our local auto body shop to come and pick it up the next morning to have it repaired, by our mechanic. They were very friendly and very accommodating. To add to it all, after several months had past with my hectic life these past few months Yorktown Auto Body called to let me know that they would be sending me a refund of $80.00 because they over charged me that evening for a tow that my insurance covered. I would have never picked up on that with my hectic life, and the fact that they were so honest, speaks volumes about how wonderful they are as a business. My daughter managed to get her car stuck in the mud on the side of our driveway (still trying to figure out how it happened!). My car was hit in the rear and pushed into a tree needless to say it was in bad shape but not enough to be totaled .Neil assured me that this car would look like new and to trust him. It took them over 3 weeks to repair my car when I was told that it would only take 2 weeks.. I wouldn't recommend anyone to bring their car to Yorktown Auto Body shop. I read the other reviews here and I was compelled to write this. Honestly this is what happened to me. A pickup truck backed into my car in the parking lot of a ski resort this winter. The entire front end was smashed and the wheel alignment was way off. Yorktown auto body was recommended by my insurance. When I got there the receptionist saw I was upset about my car. She said don't worry. They had a car rental on the premises. I said that I was apprehensive about driving a rented car and wanted my car fixed as soon as possible. Then the technician came out looked at my car and said "it's Wednesday we'll try to have your car back by Monday we have to order a new bumper, paint it... blah, blah, blah. I told him I didn't want to drive a rented car. I get a call Thursday ( the next day)at 4:00 pm. ... your car is ready! We know you were nervous about driving the rental. read more

I wish I didn't have to give even 1 star - this place was terrible! My son was rear-ended on route 6 in Mohegan Lake and these guys took my car to their shop. After talking to some folks, I knew I had to get my car out of there, but they made it as difficult as possible! Charged me $455 for a 6 mile tow including cleanup of the street which they did not do! They did agree to refund the cleanup $ after I complained, but now, 3 weeks later, I have yet to get the credit! They are crooks and I will never allow my car to be towed there again. read more
