I love an independent candy store!…read more While visiting Columbia Park, we stopped into Nelson's per our friend's recommendation. The inside was lined on both sides with some many different candies - I was almost overwhelmed! They had fresh fruit jellies, dark and milk chocolates, rock candy, marshmallows - I could go on and on! We took home the jellies, dark chocolate almond bark, a discounted Valentine's Day chocolate heart box, handmade marshmallows and a couple of other goodies! Staff were friendly! The inside had an old western feel to it and they even had old school cash registers. It's a great place to pick up a gift and they have different holiday options - I even saw St. Patrick's Day candy out already! Check them out!

My favorite chocolates they make are pine nut rolls - which are also around the winter holidays. They always theme their shop around the season or holiday, and it's always well done and incredibly cute. The girls who work there are so friendly and helpful, and every time I've gotten candy as a gift for someone, their wrapping job is exquisite. I'm a local and it's a struggle not to just come get candy here every week. I recently went sugar free and they've even got something for me. Would absolutely recommend anyone stop in, they've got options for just about anyone.

It was a bit smaller but the options did NOT disappoint they had my favorite chocolate marshmallow treats just one thing I wish they had was more sour candy options. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough because there is always a lot going on in these candy shops but I never seem to find the sour stuff, I will try harder to keep an eye out next time! The service is wonderful there was an older lady who helped me that was SO sweet and she was on it! Being that it was 4th of July weekend as you can imagine this place was PACKED! But I still got my chocolates! I didn't get her name but she's an absolute sweetheart so major shout out to her!! The vibe as I mentioned was very busy lol. It's similar to the Columbia location but about half the size therefore half the crowd but still busy as heck! Perhaps heading there when they first open and all the chocolates and sweet treats are fresh is key to avoid the crowds!! All and all 1000/10 I will always come back to here!! It's their fresh milk chocolates for me!

The quality of the chocolate is excellent, and the fudge is phenomenal. They also have a wide variety of jelly candy, hard candy, and black licorice, if that's your jam. Service was friendly and efficient.

They make their own chocolates and I am the biggest sucker for salted chocolate caramels. I love that they have both dark and milk chocolate to mix it up a bit. I didn't get a chance to purchase their caramel apples as customers were buying them up, I will definitely have to try them as they must be a popular commodity. The shoppe is well organized with a wide variety of chocolates, gummies, peanut and pecan brittles and so much more. The young ladies that helped us were so friendly, welcoming and helpful they also mentioned their favorites candies. I will absolutely be back that's not a question. :)

This sweets shop offers a variety of chocolate treats, ice cream, and other confections. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming and even when they're busy they're happy to answer questions and make sure you get what you're looking for. There are treats available on the shelves around the store, as well as an ice cream counter, and then chocolates and other treats behind the counter. Some of my favorites are the cinnamon hard candies, the honeycomb candy, and the mint chocolates. We love picking up our favorites plus a few new items to try. They make their items in house, so it's not rare to see them working on some treats while you're in store- and if you're lucky they may even offer you some fresh samples- YUM! There are some tables to enjoy your treats right away and if you're purchasing them as a gift they can wrap them up specially for your recipient. On top of their regular items they also make specialty items for the holidays.
