Great spot for a date night! Amazing service and truly delicious food. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. I really loved their sushi rolls and we also got a bowl. It's a little pricey but that's Miami for you. It's located in a really cute shopping center that give boho chic vibes. Plenty of street parking available by this place. read more

I was craving sushi for about a week and a friend had told me about Yoso so came in to check it out and I am so glad I did. Yoso is located in the Buena Vista area which I love. The inside of the restaurant is little but there is outdoor dining as well. The staff was polite and helpful and I loved that it is small inside because makes the experience more intimate. All the food was delicious. To start off we had the yellowtail crispy rice, which was one of my faves! My favorite of the maki rolls were the butter krab and the torched salmon. I got the spicy scallop hand roll and it was tasted refreshing with a kick. We had to try the seasonal burnt cheesecake (basque) which was yuzu and it was sooo yummy! We had a great time and I will definitely be back soon! read more

My favorite sushi place in Miami, no competition! Yoso sushi is a small restaurant inside the biena vista shops, tucked into a corner by the juice bar. The inside is a small counter that seats maybe 6-8 people max. They also have outdoor tables but if you get there early, you'll never have a problem with seating. The food here is stellar. My top items are the dumplings (MUST GET) the yoso roll and the cheesecake is divine. I had to go back three times before I had the opportunity to try it because they would sell out! It is truly one of the best desserts in Miami!! Everything else is stellar, I've had so many of the dishes here (the menu is small) and it is the only sushi restaurant I crave time and time again. Do yourself a favor and take your self for a loved one on a date here, you'll be instantly obsessed read more

small cozy sushi place in upper Buena Vista. Super cute ambience very relaxed very laid-back. The server was very nice and attentive, even though he was just by himself handling multiple tables at the same time , he was doing his best. The food was good. I think the butter crab roll was the best one I've had in a long time and the warm arugula Mushroom salad was absolutely incredible. However, the sushi chef selection was not my favorite because the rice was pretty mushy and too much rice ratio for the Nigiri. I would come back to try other dishes, but definitely not going the nigiri since I don't really like the rice at all. read more

I had a great experience at Yoso Sushi located at Upper Buena Vista. The place is adorable and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super friendly, fun, and accommodating. Most importantly, the sushi is fresh, well prepared, and reasonably priced. I had a toro special with yuzu and truffle, also a chirashi bowl with fresh tuna, salmon, and hamachi with an arugula base and wakame. I also had torched Hokkaido scallop sashimi with a shiso leaf. Everything was excellent, accompanied by Orion Japanese Beer. Will definitely return. read more

While visiting the design district we strolled by the Yoso Sushi food truck and decided we could do with some lunch. I ordered the grilled avocado for the honey and a vegan roll for myself. The honey also ended up ordering a cool lychee boba to wash it down. Hands down, everything was amazing! The grilled avocado was so unusual and delicious and I adored the vegan roll. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty and we loved that there was a ton of seating to choose from, both covered and uncovered, and the service was super friendly. There're 5 food trucks in the block. (kinda like outdoor food curt) Maybe because the food trucks located in a nice neighborhood with many international brands store so the prices are also higher than normal restaurant or food trucks in order areas. With the price of $12 for tuna rolls, I'm actually a little bit disappointed. The rolls just like rolls from supermarket but double the price. It's a nice place to hangout with friends and grab some food but with the prices I will only rate it 3 stars. read more

The food is actually pretty good here. I was skeptical about sushi at a food truck but I would recommend trying. The veggie spring rolls are very good. There are tables in front to sit. The service on the other hand needs a lot of work. They are not friendly here and lack courtesy and some levels of professionalism. I used to come here often and each time the staff seems mad, unapproachable, and gives off an unwelcoming vibe. There's many other high priced food places in the area that can be tried with much friendlier staff. read more

Please open up a brick and mortar or park in Coconut Grove. The Spank the Tuna burrito I had was the best sushi I have had in Miami. What a wonderful little gem! Who knew a food-truck that is so out of the way could be so sophisticated and well deserving of a re-visit! Hand-crafted with love, fresh, complex and wonderfully delicious! I had a Poke-style bowl, served with a seaweed salad and roasted corn and it was a brilliant fusion of Cuban, Japanese and Pacific Islands that really was brilliant and different. Totally reasonable prices and they make a home-made hibiscus drink that was getting rave reviews from all the customer's that night! On a hot Miami evening... that hit the spot. I discovered this food truck on Instagram and decided to give them a try for their Sunday night omakase. I was super impressed the second we walked up. For being a food truck, the vibe of this place is way better than I expected. The whole experience was personal and delicious and VERY well priced for the amount of food you get. Multiple courses with a welcome drink and dessert included. They also have sake you can purchase which is delicious as well. This is some of the best quality fish I've ever had in miami and a spot that I will continue to come back to and bring friends/family. The owners are amazing and really put their heart into this food truck. I've recommended this spot to everyone and will continue to do so. A must try! read more

Absolutely incredible, these guys really do an amazing job. The truck is a sparkling clean food is super fresh and the prices are as fair as you can get $13 for each of the rolls, they also offer nigiri. Poke bowls etc. we got the chicken fried rice that I can honestly say is the best I've had: crunchy chicken, Orange segments, edamame, and some spicy mayo. Great portion and was light for a fried rice. I'd seen these guys at the Pegasus championship horse racing and understand they have a great following amongst the Miami food industry and personalities so we gave it a shot. 5++++++ stars! Seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. These people are brilliant I tell you, brilliant!!! They are giving you 5 star dining out of a food truck at an affordable price. Absolutely! We are vegetarians and ordered mushroom fried rice, we love vegan roll, grilled avocado, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so good we couldn't even decide which one was our favorite. Literally insane the entire meal we only talked about how good the food was. Blown away. We will be back like all the time, and get yourself on this bandwagon ASAP cus it's out of this world. Good local food truck serving fresh fish. They are located on the plaza on the 40th ST with seating and children play area. Ice cream is also close by so it is a good spot for families. We tried torched salmon nigiri, regular salmon nigiri, two different rolls: everything was excellent. Thanks from the neighbors. read more

Our story begins in Turkey, where I discovered my passion for cooking while studying culinary arts. The Pad Kee Mao has a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, nuttiness, and heartiness. If one were to order the Pad Kee Mao and ask a suggestion on what is easily the best Thai noodles in miami, I would advise to get the noodles medium spicy and get them with beef!! I'm not lying if I say that my boyfriend and I have been visiting this spot over 3 times a week. I can easily say that Hoshi has us as new regulars in their establishment.

Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. I visited this spot based on glowing Yelp reviews, and what a journey it was. Tucked away in the corner of a mini mall, it's a bit tricky to find, but I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. The outdoor seating area is very nice by the way. I started with the special of the day--the sando--and an order of beef dumplings. Unfortunately, the dumplings were underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor I had hoped for. This had me concerned about the rest of the meal, so I shared my thoughts with the chef. To my surprise, he took it as a challenge and generously offered a roll on the house. That's when things took a turn for the better. I sampled the torched salmon, spicy yellowtail, and spicy tuna rolls--each one outshining the last. The standout was the tuna roll, featuring an incredible passionfruit sauce that added a perfect balance of brightness and heat. Chefs CJ and Lewis truly elevate the experience, making guests feel right at home with their hospitality and skill. The packaging is nice and good quality (insulated bag), but the surprise fee isn't so nice.

It's those kinds of touches that make Wabi Sabi special. Dessert was just as impressive: a seasonal Japanese strawberry that was perfectly sweet and an unforgettable ube mochi that was unlike any I've tried before. It made absolutely no sense. We waited 35 minutes to be seated, only to be placed outside at a dirty round table that didn't match the restaurant's style at all. I asked to be moved inside, and while they did accommodate the request, the manager gave us unnecessary attitude about it. Sitting outside would've been a disaster for my family, especially with how dirty the table was and hot. The one positive: the food was actually good. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the rest. I definitely wouldn't return especially after the headache we had with the parking payment afterward. The whole experience felt complicated and frustrating for no reason. I'll be sure to let others know to avoid this restaurant.
