I've been meaning to try this place for a long time, and we finally made it in for a Saturday lunch. I've done buffets before, but Korean BBQ is a different story, especially when you're new to it. And honestly? I really liked it. It's fun, it's a little messy, and it feels like you're cooking with friends even if it's your first time. We went with the $30.99 AYCE option, plus I grabbed an orange juice for four bucks. Worth it. Our server was genuinely great--attentive without hovering, checked on us often, and made sure we understood how everything worked. That alone already set the tone for the visit. Food-wise, everything felt light and easy to eat. I tried the Hawaiian chicken, the garlic chicken, some beef, and a few other cuts since there were three of us and sharing made it way easier to try different things. The grill got busy quick, and that's part of the charm here. If I'm honest, the only downside was the men's restroom--it needed attention. Not horrible, just not ideal. And normally that would push the rating down to a solid four. But service matters, and the server carried the whole experience with respect, patience, and genuine care. That's rare these days, so I'm giving the fifth star without hesitation. If you come, arrive hungry. Seriously. And bring people you don't mind passing plates with. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we'll try next time.

This was my first time visiting a place like this, and I was honestly blown away. Here's how it works: they seat you at a table with a grill in the center, turn it on, and then bring out whatever meats you choose from the menu. I recommend ordering no more than one dish per person, since the portions can be pretty big. Here's what we got: - Angus Beef Brisket - very thin slices, cooks super fast, but not seasoned, so you definitely want to dip it in the sauce. - Spicy Pork Belly - a must for anyone who loves spicy food. Incredibly good! - Spicy Korean Chicken - also great, moderately spicy. The pieces are thick, so you either grill them longer or cut them up first. - Hawaiian Chicken - unusual flavor, large pieces, defintely need to cut them. - Garlic Chicken - we didn't love this one; couldn't really taste the garlic. - Miso Soup - we ordered it before the main dishes, and I highly recommend doing the same. It was really good here. - Ice Cream - only three flavors: caramel, vanilla, and strawberry. We tried all of them, and I'm not sure if they buy it or or make it in-house, but it was surprsingly good. The service deserves a special shoutout - they kept refilling our drinks, checked in often to see what we wanted next, and even swapped out the metal grill plate when it started getting burnt, which happens pretty fast. Vibe was really friendly and nice. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. For your first visit, there's really no reason to get option B - give yourself time to get the hang of it. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I probably should've read the writing on the wall - good kbbq at Indian Wells? But we gave it a chance. For meats, we ordered the beef briskets, beef belly, beef short ribs, bulgogi. And a side of rice, miso, and steamed egg. The first bite of brisket tasted spoiled. I thought it was just me but the three with me also felt it tasted like it wasn't stored properly. Ok, maybe a one-off. So we cooked the bulgogi, and both texture and taste were off as well (albeit not as bad as the brisket). We then tried the short ribs - much better taste than the former two but still not hitting it. We didn't even try the beef belly. And then left. The steamed egg didn't have any flavor. And the miso soup was Japanese style not Korean. To be fair, we are all from LA and SF Bay Area so it is different.

Came here with some friends as I have not been to a Korean BBQ in a very long time in the last few times, I've been to one. I've really enjoyed them. You grill was not a letdown! The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Our waitress was on top of everything and made sure we always had fresh food coming to our table. The place got packed inside and it was a Wednesday night! Thankfully, they were staffed very well and made sure everyone was taken care of the price was very good for the quality of the meat and the fact that it's all you can eat you will leave with a full belly and a smile on your face! Definitely go check it out.

We arrived early for a Saturday, so we had a wide variety of tables to pick from. The place is pretty chilly but once the grill is turn on the temperature feels perfect. We had server Oscar. Oscar was excellent with attentiveness and friendliness. We really enjoyed our food, everything tasted so fresh and great flavor. We were taken care of, this was our first time and we will definitely be back. I give it a big 10 overall. Thank you, you grill and Oscar.

We came from oc and everyone was nice but it was dirty. We walked in 4 tables were dirty with food and employees were standing around. we ordered the bulgogi and it was dry and had a weird taste to it. It also took them 20 mins after we got our meat to light up the grill and asked them to bring us dumplings two times because they kept forgetting and it was not busy. I've had better.

Was in the area and decided to stop and dry out this place out. The server was super friendly was very helpful all the meats were really good, they did change the grill every time we asked They did forget 2 items I ordered Overall or was pretty good!

    Menu at the table.

undisclosed 18% gratuity added to our bill. The menu clearly states it's for parties of 6 or more, so naturally, we asked. The server's response? "Our system is updated, but our menus aren't." Seriously? So let me get this straight--your internal system gets a refresh, but somehow printing new menus or even putting up a simple sign is too much effort? That's not just lazy, it's shady. You can't advertise one policy and charge another. It's misleading and borderline dishonest. We usually tip well, but being forced into it without notice left a bad taste--worse than anything we ate. Do better.

How long do people usually stay?

Depends on how hungry people are. On average I've stayed about 2 hrs

Is it reservation only or can I walk in and get a table?

    Yes to walk-ins

Did they end up reopening March 28?

Idk when but its been open.

    Are you guys opening soon?

They said on their facebook page they will open sunday march 28th

Does anyone know when it will open up again?

Their facebook page says sunday march 28th :)

Is it open now? No one is anwering calls

They are not open due to the Force Lockdown of the indoor service business.

Hello, does anyone know if they are-open? Have reopened?

    I passed by 2x (yesterday 6/13) ...still closed :-(

So is this place open because my friends and I want to go on Tuesday and I keep seeing people say it's closed until mid to late December is that true?

    Yes they are open .

Are they back open for winter hours?

Not yet I had called previously and they said maybe mid-late December but it probably still wont be at noon maybe at 3 instead

Looking at the menus and noticed that there is a lunch special offering, however, they aren't open for lunch during the week, and the special doesn't apply to the weekend. I'm confused?

It's only offered during regular operating times not the summer or weekends

I've been several times, the first time about 3 weeks after it opened. Didn't write a review then, or did I? Anyway... It is about the size of a Starbucks lobby, complete with standard decorative restaurant applications. There's a couple of tables and a half dozen booths to sit in. Soda selection is limited, and they do have a few adult beverages there as well. I don't drink, so I usually don't check out the drink menu. Not to make the staff seem too stereotypical, but as soon as I heard the yelling in the kitchen, with the language of the natives, I knew from the first visit, this was gonna be at the very least, a tasty meal. This visit was not a disappointing one. I ordered the potstickers, and an order of combo lo mein. Very good and very filling. And all the flavors were very authentic. I will say the service is hot and miss, but only because the language barrier is somewhat thick. But, I really don't need to ask for anything else past the meal being set, because that's ultimately what matters, in my opinion. As long as we communicate, the plates and cups aren't thrown at me, I'm a happy camper. I feel like this place is a little more popular for take out, but I think it is also worthy of a sit in meal. I'm having the duck next time... Thanks!

Would rather hold out for better sushi options than settle for someplace that's just average. For context solid sushi spots in the desert are hard to come by, understandably. La Quinta actually has two of my favorites BUT they are only open for dinner hours. So I've been on the search for solid sushi spots that have lunch hours. Being that Sam's Sushi was open for lunch and has moderate reviews, thought that they were worth a try. The ambiance of the spot is basic. There was a proper sushi bar which I could appreciate and the restaurant was spacious. My biggest issues were cleanliness and freshness. The tables weren't clean enough for my preference (soy sauce containers were sticky and the plate they sit on hadn't been cleaned for a while). Also I found the temperature inside to be a little too warm, which is always a red flag to me when dealing with seafood. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2 stars is the staff were friendly. Despite being busy they had me seated quickly and also food was at a good pace. One of my drinks was forgotten by the server but he was kind and apologized about it, so not a big deal. As again, they were busy. Overall the reason for the lower review is primarily for the food and quality. I ordered a $25 bento box (not quite trusting or committing to larger sushi rolls) and was still underwhelmed. The best part of my meal was the miso soup and California roll. The California roll was average but tasty. However, the other two box options were meh. The mixed tempura had hits and misses. Tempura shrimp was decent. However, the veggies were too thick - so the batter to veggie ratio was off. Still edible though. The bummer with the bento box was the sushi and salad. Salad had barely any dressing, and not the tasty ginger or sesame dressing that most have - the dressing was so minimal I couldn't even tell you what it was. Also the sushi just didn't taste fresh. The ebi was fine but usually I wouldn't choose this for sushi. The salmon was edible but not super fresh and the yellowtail was stringy and I couldn't eat it. For $25 the plate looked appealing but lacked good flavor/execution. Overall, the place was busy so I'm hopeful they have a good following with locals and I saw a lot of professionals here for a quick lunch break. I just think there are substantially better sushi spots in the desert...I'm spoiled and have lots of good sushi spots at home that this spot wouldn't be one I'd be eager to come to again soon.
