While moving from Centennial to Co Springs we had rented a U-Haul and thought, psh.. we got this!…read more(just the 2 of us...). Then we came to our senses and realized it was going to take us forever and we are definitely not spring chickens! So we started calling around for quotes on moving our 2 bedroom condo to a home in the springs. We spoke to Sherry who provided all the hourly costs for 2 guys and for 3 guys on a Saturday with a $30 charge for gas since it was an out of town move. Not too bad. We weren't sure exactly how long it might take but we anticipated the move would be about $1500. On moving day the truck (giant truck) pulled up and 3 happy guys greeted me. Mike, Justin, and Pena. They took a look around and got right to work. They had us out of the old house in about 2 hours and handled everything with extreme care! As they were finishing securing everything in the truck we left ahead of them to head to the new house. Thinking they would take much longer than us we started unloading our cars and they pulled up behind us immediately! Moving in was much simpler since we just wanted all the boxes in the garage and all of the furniture in the living room. They cleaned up their truck, settled the final bill, and went on their way. Ended up being about $1400 and worth every penny to be all moved in with out the aches and pains and days it would have taken us!

Mike, the owner has made promises that he cannot make good on, and once a liar always a liar…read more Hey Mike - I have retained a moving expert and your estimate was 2x the closest competitor, you sure have A LOT of explaining to do as you clearly took advantage of an elderly couple. I hope you have better attorneys than I do on speed dial - HINT: any attorney who has EXPERIENCE will be forced to turn you away due to a conflict - I am embedded in Colorado Legal. Godspeed - you made your bed, ruined our belongs and advise your insured you have experienced an event in which you need their assistance. As I will take you to the cleaners, you had the opportunity to make this correct and you are negligent or a failure, either one is fine by me - not like you would ever take ownership or actually accept responsibility for the actions and inactions of your crew. Oh and the Castle Doctrine states that I have no duty to retreat when someone has threatened me and I am scared for my life - you are actually lucky I didn't take further action. In your world a Goat just died because you refused to take it to the vet - oh and you lost two Chickens because of heartbreak. Down three animals you take our $20K and buy new ones - that's fine but know that I don't quit until you lose!

They will not honor their quoted prices…read more I was given a quote for my unit of $99/month. Less than 2 months after I began renting I was informed that the price would be raised to $138/month, an increase of 40%. I asked them what could've possibly changed in 6.5 weeks to justify an increase of 40% and they couldn't said that every now a d then they perform a "unit audit" and determined that this is just the price now. Makes me think that $99/month was just a teaser rate to win my business before they jack the price to what they actually want to charge, because how on earth could a $99 rate be fair 2 months ago, but suddenly be so out-of-line that they need a 40% increase. I asked for it to be lowered cause it was in bad taste to refuse to honor their quote in such a short time period. They refused. I left a review here to inform others and suddenly they realized that maybe they shouldn't jack their prices by that much so quickly and returned my rate to $99/month. They asked me to "help them out with some reviews left online." Since they returned my rate I agreed and deleted the review. It's now 5 weeks later and they have once again jacked my rate, this time by a smaller amount, only to $109 (10% increase). A 10% increase is still pretty unreasonable seeing as it's only been just over 3 months since I first became a customer. Given the context they gave me with the "unit audit" to justify their rate increase, the fact that this increase is significantly lower tells me that this time around it wasn't some BS methodology, but a conscious decision to push the price the price closer to what they really want but in a manner someone will grudgingly allow. In other words, their methodology for determining the rate increase isn't actually from a unit audit, but rather is just "whatever this customer will let slide." Poor business practices. Honor your quoted prices. If you want to charge more, quote more. And if you need to increase the rate, think about how reasonable the increase is given the amount of time that has passed.

This place has security cameras everywhere but they are not recording anything…read more My storage unit was recently broken into and even though the camera points directly to the unit there was mi surveillance video or any recording of any action that had taken place. I lost over $15k worth of tools and the insurance coverage is garbage when it comes to filing a claim Until the new management takes care of updating their security system I would not recommend this place to store any valuables

I have been renting here for a couple years, and it used to be amazing! So amazing that I've told…read moreover a dozen of my colleagues in the trades about it and they started renting there. Unfortunately there is a new woman running the place and she is terrible. The quality of the grounds has been declining since she took over. Large garbage items sit outside of units for days or weeks. The alleys don't get plowed every time it snows , and they stopped putting down salt (both things they did when the other gentleman managed the place), so it gets icy . I have to put my own salt down in front of my unit so I don't slip on ice when I'm trying to get heavy tools and materials before work. The biggest issue is security. One of the gates has been broken and left wide open at all times, for anyone walking down the street to see and come in at any hour. When I asked about this I got rude emails back. When I asked to speak to someone higher up than her, she refused to give me anyone's info.... Who do you talk to about a problem when the problem is the manager? When I mentioned to her that the quality of the facility was declining, she got petty and went back though records to "call me out" on things she perceives as issues. I was told there is a service call in, but the gate is left swung wide open at night, and has been for days, how long does it really take to get a locksmith out???? They make no effort to secure the facility when they are closed. As soon as I have time in my schedule I will be moving to a more secure facility, with friendlier staff. If this is how much this place has declined in just a few months, I don't want to sit around and see how bad it will really get. The owners should really think about finding someone better to manage this facility, especially at the prices they charge.

The grounds are covered with cameras everywhere so we feel our possessions are secured and looked after. Easy access to the highway and shops just up the street for lunch. The guys called to inform me they'd be a little "late" (but they still arrived within the half our time range that they said they would). When they arrived, they were friendly and professional. I used a Yelp coupon and saved a little money, always a plus. Definitely recommend them!
