I have only taken my son here once but I have already signed him up to come back. I paid $120 for…read morethe day. It sounds like a lot but when I'm given the security of his safety and knowing throughout the day he is enjoying himself, that $ is well worth it. I was nervous having never even visited the place and only going off of another parents recommendation but the staff gave me direct communication as I continuously checked in (shout out to LuLu) and she provided me the comfort of knowing he's having fun and he told me he wasn't ready to come home until the last min of his day. He is excited to go again. He talked about the fun he had that days for several days after. I would def recommend trying it out even if it's just for one time. I'm sure your kid will talk you into coming again.

My son generally does best in more structured environments. This camp felt very busy, chaotic, and highly stimulating for him however he seemed to enjoy the activities very much. With a large group of children, I personally expect very active and engaged supervision, especially during free play. That part made me nervous as I saw on drop off no supervision while boys were playing soccer in my childs group. Ultimately, I made a decision to cut the camp short and move him to a another camp that blends sports and arts and had better student teacher ratios and just more a more personable manager in charge. Although GrowFit does not offer refunds, I still felt more comfortable choosing a calmer, environment. He is doing much better there, and I have less anxiety on saftey.

The owners are wonderful people with strong values, and you can tell they genuinely care about every kid who walks through their doors. It's not just about learning ninja skills. They intentionally invest in the kids' character too. At the end of each class they do a short character lesson on things like humility, obedience, and other life lessons. As a parent, I really appreciate that they're helping build both confidence and character. Within just a couple of weeks, I noticed a huge difference in my son. He used to be nervous about things like the monkey bars, and now he's climbing, hanging, and excited to try new obstacles. It's been really fun to watch that confidence carry over into everyday life outside of class. My daughter also did a trial of the Sidekicks class for 2-3 year olds, and she absolutely loved it. It was the perfect mix of movement, exploration, and play for her age. Both of my kids have tried gymnastics, and while they enjoyed it, this has been a completely different experience. The classes change every week, so they're never doing the exact same thing twice. The obstacle layouts are always different, which keeps the kids engaged and excited to come back. Between the monkey bars, running walls, balance obstacles, rope swings, and everything in between, there's always a new challenge. Another thing I really like is that the kids are evaluated on their skills and can continue progressing through different levels. It gives them something to work toward while still making it all about having fun. Last thing, they have huge windows for the parents viewing area and they have a play section for the siblings. Our 3 year old daughter has fun with magnifies and blocks while her older brother is in class. If you're looking for an activity that builds confidence, challenges your kids, and keeps them moving, I'd absolutely recommend USA Ninja Challenge. We've loved being part of it.

They are patient, kind, encouraging to the kids, and very communicative for parents. Membership is monthly. You get 4 or 5 classes per month (1x/wk) with two make-ups per month if your child is ever absent. It comes out to ~$36.25/class per child - very reasonable for a solid hour of exercise and fun. The facility is spacious and clean with plenty of parking. Our children LOVE going to Ninja class every week. I can't recommend this place enough!

Our entire family loves this summer camp!…read more Here's why: Arun and Anne-Michelle the camp creators and owners of Ohana Surf Shop, a husband and wife team who are the perfect welcoming family and example for kids to be around, make this camp part our kids unforgettable summer. Arun and his son Brody are so patient and helpful with all the kids, teaching techniques while giving encouragement. My son said, they kept say "you can do it" While Anne-Michelle (the mom) conducts the boat, making sure the kids are safe and all have constant sun protection. While documenting each day with professionally taken photos (she's a photographer) then sends the photos via email to parents each day. Everyday (the Camp is 5 days) is a new adventure, whether it's skiing, tubing or surfing. As a parent I really appreciate that the kids all meet at the Ohana Board Store in Willow Glen and drive up with the camp creators as a group and the boat. The kids get to experience the entire boating day from launch to clean-up, they learn a lot this way. I loved this from the Camp Checklist because it was very earth conscious: Eco-friendly reusable packed lunch bag Bring healthy food No cell-phones My husband Brooke loves that the camp gets the kids off their computers and into the outdoors, we want more of that than the digital world for our kids. We no longer have a boat and our kids love the water, it gave both of them the chance to learn something new While being on the water in nature. The camp message encourages the kids to try their best and not to give up when it comes to getting up on a wake or surf board and encourages the other kids to all support one another. Every child got up on the board many times although they had never done these water sports before. Everyone had a great time. My high-school daughter went with her girlfriends and loved being able to spend the day with her friends out on the water boating this summer. (Instead of on Snapchat) They also teach the kids important values such as; be kind to others, be responsible and clean up after yourselves and most important do not leave your trash behind when you're done. The kids even get to help out cleaning the boat at the end of the day! My sons face in the photo says it all for me and my husband and our family. Highly recommended!

Arun, Anne-Michelle, and Brody are so kind and patient with all the kids. Each day, the kids get a chance to wakeboard or wakesurf a couple times each, tube, and swim. They have such an amazing time all day that they even look forward to wiping down and cleaning the boat at the end each day. Every afternoon our daughter would get in the car with stories and a huge smile, "if I only do one camp next year, it will be Ohana, and for a couple weeks!" As a surprise every night, Anne-Michelle shares hundreds of professional grade photos to document the day. The smiles are priceless. This camp is worth every penny!
