Salt and pepper wings. SO GOOD.
    Sarah L.

We went on a Sunday at 3 pm. It was pretty empty inside. Just one couple at a table wrapping up and 4 guys at the bar watching the NFL games. The reason for all this info is to paint a clear picture that it was not busy at all, but our small order of one burger and chicken wings took exactly one hour. There was just one lady working both the bar and the floor. Now, we picked this place because after reviewing all the spots in the area, they seemed to have good-looking wings and decent food. That is all correct. My partner enjoyed her burger so much and I can honestly say these were some of the best wings I've had. They were large in size and had the perfect crispy crunch of skin. I got the salt and pepper seasoning and it was so simple yet so satisfying. Pros: food is really really good for simple dive bar food Cons: per our experience and other reviews it seems 1-hour wait might be the norm here

Loved it here! The drinks were so good and our bartender was so sweet and made our drinks PERFECT. It was by far the best sex on the beach I have had! We didn't get to eat but boy oh b it did that good smell good! We would definitely come back; we actually tried but during their slow season(winter) they close on Sundays :(

Small sports bar but we had a great time . Service was great and all our food was really good . We order wings in different flavors all good . We order pizza , Mozarella sticks and some nachos with pork belly that were so good ( special ) . There is a bowling place inside that look like a lot fun but we didn't bowls For such small place service was really good !

The lone bartender on a sleepy Friday night was an asshole to us the moment we sat down. We asked for Miller Lite but got cut off to be told they only have so-and-so bottles. Basically, only other varieties of mower beer like Coors and Bud. Okay. Cool. Nice attitude, bro. We ordered a couple shots and basic cocktails. When he finally came around to ask if we wanted another round (after sitting a long time with empty cups), I politely asked for a water and a Coke. He gave me the dirtiest look and without saying a word, walked away. At least he did bring my drinks, but by this time, I was so appalled that I just wanted to leave. His attitude the entire visit was enough to tell us we were not welcomed here. We paid our tab and left and would not recommend this place to visitors.

Yank's is seemingly a unique spot off the Clifton Hill strip, in that it offers a down to earth vibe with good food and reasonable prices. A group of us decided to come in a bit earlier for a drink and appetizers. We ordered a few pitchers, the first a local brew with the next being Seemans original. For food, the Yelp reviews were spot on about the Mexican Cheesecake, a calorie laden, dense mixture of cheese, beef and jalapeno with rounded store bought nachos surrounding the pyrex serving dish. My little guy ordered a single burger, but note the fries would need to be ordered seperately. We also shared a tasty thin crust pizza which was topped with veg, including red pepper and zucchini, a nice accompaniment to the cold beer. Overall, as others stated a good alternative to the other establishments in the area. Definately something a bit more casual and relaxed vibe.

We stopped here as everything was closing. They close at 2:00 am so was great for us. The drinks are strong and the bartenders were were friendly and kept our glasses full. They have 1 pool table and we met some locals who were very friendly and enjoyed a few games with them. The place is clean which is always a plus. It's off the beaten path, we found it by accident on a side street.

This is the main seating area. Nice quiet atmosphere.

Get the spinach and artichoke dip. So good! The pizza was fine. We are from NY so hard to impress. Great service. Nice quiet break from the crowds.

Stopped by this bar after seeing a picture on here of they're naked nachos. It was also game 5 of the NBA series so the place had a good crowd. Oddly, there was only one person working the bar but somehow service was still pretty quick. I ordered poutine (never had it and what better time than the present?) And those nachos, spicy. My husband ordered sweet chili wings and French fries. Because I don't have a standard with which to measure the poutine, I'll just say I didn't like it. I did enjoy the nachos and really loved the wings. We demolished the entire pound in about 2 minutes. My only complaint is that the sodas were weak. I'd love to come again and try other wing flavors!

I was looking for somewhere to eat with 5 friends after driving over the bridge. We found Yanks on yelp and I wish we didn't. I didn't like this place because: - there is no parking - the service is incredibly slow. we waited over an hour for our food. there was 1 other table at the restaurant, so it wasn't because they were busy - The food was mediocre. Between six people we tried A LOT. Caesar salad has no Parmesan cheese on it. Pizza is grease with a side of bread and cheese. Wings don't have enough sauce. Mexican casserole uses the cheap tortilla chips that you find at the ball park. - they were out of the cider we wanted to order - there is no music. and no juke box. The food prices are cheap, and the server friendly but not attentive. I recommending finding a better place to eat.

My go to spot when across the border. Wings and pizza are fantastic, service always on point and best prices on the strip.

It was quite and few tourists were there, which was actually nice. Other than that it is a fairly mediocre place.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and everything was really good. Located right on the corner going down Lundy's Lane, the place looks very simple from the outside, but once you walk through the doors you realize you are in for an elegant dining experience. Started out with a orange Pellegrino which was wonderful, they brought out some bread and this amazing honey and ricotta cheese spread. Absolutely to die for but be careful. It would be easy to fill up on that and miss out on the wonders of the meal that's coming. I started the meal off with their Caesar salad which was absolutely perfect. The right amount of dressing lettuce was second to none and it was one of the most delicious Caesars I've had. I opted for the gnocchi oso buco ragu, which was absolute perfection. Be careful though, these gnocchi are no joke. The taste will keep you eating all of them and you will absolutely be ready to take a nap afterwards. Bottom line? If you are looking for fine dining in the Niagara falls area, you would be doing yourself a disservice not going to this restaurant. It's absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere, soft music, amazing service by Juan our waiter. We started with Caesar salad and the bruschetta appetizers - Boyfriend's salad was very good. I liked the capers and strong hint of anchovies in the dressing (which he always has on the side). Bruschetta was not what I expected - I felt it was missing something, not much flavor - although the bread was super fresh and tomatoes perfectly ripe. As mains he had the Americana pizza (pepperoni) and I had the lamb, served with a citrusy risotto and rapini. I loved the lamb! Highly recommend. It was literally so tender that I didn't need the knife to cut it! We asked Juan how the cook made it that way - he wouldn't tell and said it was the kitchen's secret! It was delicious. Risotto was perfect too. I'm not a fan of rapini but it was well cooked and seasoned. Boyfriend regretted his choice a little, although he says his pizza was good - but after tasting my lamb, he was sorry he didn't choose a meat dish. I had a shot of Amaretto on ice and the cannolis for dessert. Delicious and obviously homemade. I was a bit put off that a bus boy pulled out our appetizer plates while we were still actively eating. Hint, if our forks are in our hand and we're bringing them to our mouth with food on it, we're not done yet :/ Not the first place this happens and a pet peeve of mine... but whatever. Also, the couple with 5 kids... 5 kids omg... maybe this wasn't the best restaurant choice for you if you are going to let the two small ones run wild around the dining room and almost hit a waiter with a tray of drinks... but this isn't the restaurant's fault. We will return! Worth it just for the amazing lamb, and a short 5 minute walk from the Doubletree hotel, if you are staying there!

Being in Canada with Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY just a stone's throw away, we're spoiled for choice when it comes to pizza and wings. I ordered the classic Niagara Falls, Canada tray with pepperoni. For my American friends, this is a double tray with New York style pepperoni (not cup and char, though that's an option). Oddly enough, it's considered a luxury as a double item here! I eat and review a lot of pizza. I'd describe Frank's as a balance between Buffalo style, with its slightly thicker crust, and The Falls style, with its slightly herby, tangy sauce. It's a hybrid of the two. Is it good? Absolutely! It's got a great sauce-to-crust ratio. The herby, tangy taste reminds me of Sammy's on Hyde Park. The crust isn't as thick as Imperial Pizza, more like La Nova. It's a nice balance, though it's a shame cup and char pepperoni is a luxury here in Canada. That said, Frank's offers a great pizza with its own unique taste. It's a testament to the diverse pizza landscape in this border region, combining elements from both Canadian and American pizza traditions.
