On it's own, pennywort juice is not something I would gravitate towards but they have a variety of it mixed with different things. Both were so refreshing and delicious! The Roasted Wintermelon was unlike any other drink I've had! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, and I loved the Chia Seed Jelly in the drink, which i've never had anywhere else. The Giant Flattened Matcha Pistachio Croissant was so delicious too! This place is very unique and carries a modernized version of a drink I grew up with: pennywort or rau má in Vietnamese. But then came the menu struggle because everything on the little table menu was written entirely in Vietnamese, and while there was an electronic screen with English menu, the font was too tiny for us to read (forgot to bring the glasses) so I just went with the classic method: ask directly. I pointed to the perfect pair I saw on the sign outside and the staff told me they also had freshly made soy milk today, and even poured us a small cup to try. It was pretty decent! I've tried this drink from other places and it's way more complimentary. It seemed like they put watered down coconut juice and watered down sugarcane juice together with a bunch of ice which made it even more watered down.
