Don't worry if you don't have gear, they do and don't worry if you are just tagging along with someone who loves to fish. A great time will be had. The yacht is so clean and very comfortable. There are bathrooms and places to sit. The Captain and crew are so nice. They are very helpful for people just starting out and they know how to help the seasoned fisherman. You can also charter the yacht to spread ashes of a loved one. I have not done that, but some were doing that before we boarded and they had a lovely little ceremony for their parents. There is also a lot to do right in the Marina before or after. You will love it.

From booking to instructions for arrival and parking to answering any questions we had, they made everything super easy. Captain Breydan took us out, assisted by Rhia (Rhea?) who helped us with drinks and organizing our potluck of items we brought. They were both so kind and laid back and dealt with our birthday antics with a smile on their faces. The cruise was a lot of fun and we even got into a pod of dolphins who were swimming under the front of the boat. It was a truly incredible experience and definitely the highlight of the day for everyone. We stopped to swim & it was all around a great time. The boat was clean and looked great. I was hoping I'd see just one whale but in December, we saw 5 humpbacks ! Yesterday I wasn't too confident because one of the staff said the tour prior, they saw absolutely no life. Not even birds. But we went out and we saw a Minke whale and 3 humpback whales! One even waved for us. It was great. The staff is very knowledgeable about the whales and other animal life and even the surrounding area. Will definitely be back.
