My granddaughters attended this park with my wife and her sister. They spent the day frolicking and enjoying themselves immensely. One of the greatest luxuries of this place is the fact that there is no height restrictions, so no child is turned away. There is not an unhappy child due to the park. They spare no expense to make sure that every child is made happy. Of course some of these children look like adults but act like children because that's what this part brings out in people. They've made every opportunity they can to make sure that they try to update the place as much as possible. This has to be the best money spent for my family in many years. Not surprising is the fact that my grandchildren had passed out from exhaustion from playing so heavily and so happily. I am so grateful to this park and its staff offering such Joy to families. I'm only disappointed that there are only five stars to offer instead of 50 read more

Kids loved it. We were in the area for the weekend and decided to try it before going back home. We were surprised because we though it was a small water park but everything is perfect. You don't need to walk that much to get to the water slides. Also they have a lazy river Compared to other places, food is cheap and I think good amount. If you are in a big group like ours, rent the cabana. It's def worthy. They give you bottled water in a bucket with ice. read more

We get tickets in advance every time we come to OCNJ. The park is great. Something for everyone. The staff is fantastic. Not afraid to crack a joke and have fun, while being super professional. Today they had an empty cabana they allowed our group of 10 for the few hours we were there. That was super nice and appreciated. We had come directly from the beach and parked our chairs and gear while we played. We left in waves and no one grabbed our beach chairs. One of the employee, Barb saw them and thought enough to secure them since they appeared to be valuable. In fact they were - the keys to our rental and BOTH pairs of my eyeglasses were in the pocket ! THANKS for providing great customer-first entertainment and service. read more

We almost didn't go to the waterpark based on the reviews on here but so grateful we did! Kids, parents and grandparents alike had a blast. The park was very clean including the water. We all loved the slides, the lazy river and the kids area. We rented a cabana which was super convenient when it rained and as a break from the sun for the grandparents when needed. So many great things to do in OC but our kids would have loved an entire week of just the waterpark. read more

I went there a couple days ago with my younger brothers and had SO MUCH FUN. We got a 2hr ticket and I think that was the perfect amount of time to be at the park. We did all the rides multiple times and had a blast! It wasn't very crowded so we hardly had to wait in lines, and the water was very warm. Also, one lifeguard working the tube slide (Acidian) needs a raise! He was amazing! read more

This water park is dirty, has weeds growing out of the cracks in random areas. There are insufficient old chairs and lounges. The owners should invest in some new chairs. The place smells like garbage is certain areas. The decks are old wood and need replacing. I leaned against a wooden railing while watching a slide and the whole fence and railing was swaying and I don't weigh that much! This water park needs some attention and reinvestment of profits or it should close. I wouldn't come back and I'm a full time resident who would like a nice place to take my grandchildren. read more

I'm a huge advocate of supporting local businesses, but when I find one that's not only family-run, but filled with kind and incredible people, I have to share it. While on vacation with my husband's family in Ocean City, NJ, I lost a diamond earring while enjoying an afternoon at OC Waterpark. In nutshell, I thought I'd never see the earring again - it was lost in a waterpark after all, and well, I knew the odds were not in my favor. After searching on our own, reporting the earring lost to guest services, I cried all of the way home. As a last-ditch effort, we came back to the park right after closing time and met Ed Myers, president and CEO of OC Waterpark. We shared why we were there and how helpful Anna, the young woman at guest services, had been. He assured us that they would do their best to locate the item and confirmed our contact information. Two more days had gone by and traveled back to our hometown from Ocean city, still without my earring. The very next day while at the gym - shout-out Orange Theory, Freehold - we got a call from Anna, informing us via voicemail that she had very exciting news for us. After some anxious tears of joy, they confirmed that they had found my earring. We were in total disbelief. Ed Myers, president and CEO of OC Waterpark took the time to search for my earring himself for over two hours to find not only my diamond earring, but also the diamond jacket I had placed around it and the back of my earring. We rushed to shower and start our two-hour journey down to Ocean City. Upon arrival, we found Anna Grace with a huge smile on her face and my favorite earring in her hand. In the 10 years my husband has taken me to Ocean City, this was the first time I had ever went to the OC Waterpark, and prior to losing my earring, I'm not sure I've ever had more fun in that town. Thankful that our story ends in happy tears, I had to share how incredibly kind, compassionate and good the Myers family is. Ed, president and CEO of OC Waterpark, went above and beyond to make sure he did all he could to help find my earring, and so did his daughter, Anna. The best part? They wanted nothing in return - just to genuinely try and do what they could to help us. My husband's family will continue to travel to Ocean City for summers to come, just as they have done for over 30 years, and each year, I will make sure we go to OC Waterpark. We really had a blast with our season membership this year! Such a great value! All areas were well-run and efficient- slides, foods, golf. Employees were all attentive and helpful. I wish I could give half stars because I would give this 3.5. I wish they had more slides, but I get that their space is limited. The food is expensive, but tastes pretty good for what it is. I don't like that you can't bring in a bottle of water. I understand that they're trying to make money, but leaving my water on a shelf with 20 other random ones is gross to me. Who knows what belongs to anyone? The bathrooms are dingy and definitely need to be updated. Shotgun falls is my favorite. A 5' drop into a 10' pool is exhilarating. The tube slides are also fun, a lot of twists and turns. You can't beat the views from the top while waiting in line! I hate body slides in general so I don't go on those but my niece and nephew adore them. I like that they have a regular pool where you can swim and play at your leisure. They have an ample supply of life jackets for the non-swimmers and tots. The lazy river is usually filled with annoying 12-13 year olds who dive in and out of tubes (you're supposed to stay in your tube) and splash everyone. Some of the lifeguards yell at them, some don't - it's hit or miss. Lil' Buc's Bay is great! I remember playing there when I was younger. Now I get to watch my younger niece and nephew enjoy it. The water cannons are exciting to them, and they love the ship with the mini slides. Overall, the park is always sufficiently staffed with responsive and alert employees but it's definitely in need of updating. read more

This was an awful experience. This place was beyond busy yesterday. I waited in line for 30 minutes to get overcharged (I had a voucher for me) a 5 year old and a 2 year old. It was $61. You also pay $12 for a locker once you arrive. The place was mobbed. An entire summer camp was there - honestly looked like at least 100 kids. I waited for 30 minutes for an inner tube for the lazy river, my kids were in the little kid area waiting for the one slide, water shooting in your eyes in every direction, full blown adults going down the baby slides. Granted, the life guards were trying but they were SO outnumbered. We lost the locker key so I went to guest services - it took 20 minutes to call someone to help. I gave up and found a manager myself. Thankfully, he got me another locker so thank you but we ended up spending close to $100 with parking to go on the lazy river once and down a kids slide once. We left after all of that. I get you're busy and I'm sure last year was tough but if you don't have the staff or equipment to make your guests happy why are you operating at full capacity? Was considering buying a season pass but will opt to Wildwood next time. read more

I came here growing up....and then came here 3 years ago with my kids and we had a blast!! It was a ton of fun. But, we went here again this year and i had some issues. It was still fun, BUT not as fun because the lines were just way too long. We really could only get a few runs in. The younger kids area was perfect for my younger kids. Overall the park seems clean, but there are some major items that seem sketchy like handrails that need replacing and wood that is split and dangerous. It is nice that there is a rock wall and bounce area that is included in your admission, I do wish there was more food options IN the park, especially since they dont let you bring food/drink items IN with you. read more

We finally took the kids and grandkids to the OC Waterpark this year, and truly wish we hadn't waited. Tons of fun for the whole family. I do wish we had gone a little earlier in the day however, because the kids weren't quite ready to go when the park closed at 6. The lifeguards were seemingly attentive and very helpful in locating our granddaughters misplaced smartphone. I think it's safe to say we will be back. read more

I loved this place! Reasonably priced, friendly staff, spectacular views of the boardwalk and the ocean. Food and drink is quality and inexpensive. Family friendly and obviously family owned. This is not a big corporate amusement park where they try to suck every dollar out of your pocket. read more

Went here with my family last weekend ready for a great day... not so much. For a family of 6 we spent well over $100 which isn't crazy EXCEPT that my mom (who had purchased a spectator pass and was just going to sit and watch us go on the slides) was not allowed to bring a water bottle into the park IN THE MIDDLE OF HEAT WAVE! They checked bags and put it on a shelf filled with sippy cups, fruit and other water bottles that guests could pick up on their way out (when the products would be warm and melted because no refrigeration). I also had a water bottle but somehow they missed it... But a manager FOLLOWED US and acted like it was paraphernalia that I had smuggled in - very unprofessional. Said he was just trying to enforce company policy. In the next breath though he proceeded to tell us they had water bottles at their snack bar for us to purchase and that his company wants to make the money from that purchase... on water... that two out of 6 people in our party had...IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEAT WAVE... did he think we weren't going to spend money on snacks, other drinks, lunch from their snack stand after hours of swimming/going on slides?! Then when asked about the water policy for people with medical conditions the manager said they do allow water for that but said my mother didn't have one... (or in his words if she did it doesn't count). She does by the way have a medical condition. What a nice way to end our week's vacation in Ocean City - am I right?! Side note: the water park hasn't been updated in years... and the women's bathrooms on the lower deck (not the ones near the snack bar) were disgusting. read more

We usually spend one day of my family's vacation here a year. We've been doing it since my nephew's were little (they are now the big ones and my kids are the little ones). This year because I have an infant, we decided to upgrade to the cabana. It is so worth it's weight in gold! We had a place to relax and come to and lay down. My nephews took my older children on the bigger attractions and I stayed with my little one in Lil' Buc's Bay until it was time for a feeding and nap. We laid on the lounge chair and relaxed/napped. No need to leave. We stayed all day. The food was surprisingly delicious as well. I highly recommend this for your family. It didn't disappoint! read more

Something for everyone - from the 'Lil Buc area for toddlers through early elementary age kids to the 4ft deep general pool to fun slides and tube rides, as well as a bouncy thing and a rock climbing wall, everyone can have a great time. We had an awesome time there! Did the morning special, arrived at 930 and stayed til 1230. My kids 5 & 7, loved the play area. We spent majority of the time there, or at the lazy river. Neither of my kids were adventurous enough to try any of the slides, which from what I could see, didn't have long lines during the time we were there. The food was good and didn't seem like the food was crazy expensive for where we were. We will most likely come back next year. It was a great alternative to spending the day at the beach. read more

Played the mini golf course with the wife and we had a good time. Definitely a nice layout, friendly workers, and definitely fun.

It was fun here but there are a couple downs. The staff most of them were nice but there are ones that will try and kick you out. For example me and my friends were taking a tube up to the water slide and the winds picked up and and blew our tube out of our hand which then flew off while the manager did not even ask how it fell off thinking were horrible people and told us to get out. And she tried to say it hit people even though no one was there. Which the lifeguard at the top told us don't worry accidents happen. Over all I would not come here again. Go to wildwood it is a lot more fun and the employees are a lot nicer. read more

We have been coming to Ocean City for 18 years and have frequented the water park a number of times but will NEVER go back. This place is disgusting, dirty bathrooms, over priced entry prices (wife and I were charged $20 each to be spectators which is outrageous robbery for two hours). Food is horrible. Surprised at how awesome this place was. Came with my nephew on a weekday. Not too crowded. Very clean. Great splash area for little ones plus it's slightly separated from the 'big kid' atea which was nice for him. Great lazy river with free lie jackets for little ones. Slides for toddlers to teenagers too! Food was also surprisingly good and the price was not outrageous for the boardwalk. Bring you money for parking but otherwise pleased! read more

What a let down! My family and I showed up ready to have a great time at the waterpark that we have been to many times before, only to find out that the new ownership would not honor tickets that we had purchased in 2013. After speaking with two managers on duty we were told under no circumstance would we be allowed to enter with those tickets, but would have to purchase new ones even though the tickets we had stated that they NEVER EXPIRE. I cannot tell you how bad of a business decision that this is, and not only will we not be back to this waterpark ever again...I will make sure that everyone knows to stay away from this place as this is not how you run a successful business. read more

Very disappointed that when I dropped my 14 year old daughter off with three of her friends and 4 waterpark passes I paid full price for as a Christmas 2013 present, she later called me to say the park would not accept them. I was not aware the ownership changed. These were supposed to be never expire tickets and indeed would have been honored last season. Even worse, when I called customer service I was led to believe they would let my daughter and friends in. This run around resulted in my making three calls to customer service with my daughter calling me multiple times in tears. I paid $20 a piece for these passes. After initially speaking to someone who told me...on two separate calls...my daughter would be allowed in, I spoke to a different person who told me under no circumstances would the passes by honored. I have a place in ocnj and have been and would have gone back to this park multiple times. I am mystified as to why they would alienate loyal customers all for not letting in 4 fourteen year olds for a couple of hours. It was such a bad mark on my daughter's and friends 4th of July. My family and friends will never return. read more

Wish I could give it NO Stars! This business is the worst I have ever seen. My family bought tickets for Christmas 2013 and we were unable to get there until this year. The tickets say they never expire so we thought no worries. Boy were we WRONG!! Turned out the park was sold and the new owners would not accept the tickets. Customer Service for the corporation who bought the park won't answer their phones or return calls. Was told by the GM nothing can be done and they are going to do nothing other than turn people away. What kind of business does that? I will never visit this water park again. I have family who live in OC and they will all now take the ride to Wildwood to go to the bigger and better water parks. Pay the same money and get great customer service. Its all about how you treat people as human and not $$$. I would think twice before giving any money to this company. Anyone who chooses to go here is lining the pockets of a greedy corporation. Me, I'll take my money elsewhere. read more
