I've also bought bait like frozen squid and live lug worms. They have plenty of products stocked for fresh and saltwater fishing. Prices are competitive, with some items on clearance worth browsing through. The owner and staff are kind and helpful. They also offer seasonal chartered fishing trips as well. Came in to get a rod fixed Tuesday afternoon. Told the owner that I will be needing it by Thursday due to an upcoming fishing trip. At first he wasn't sure about the two day TAT (service is to fix the worn out wrap on one of the guides) but told me that he would try. Even if he wasn't able to fix the rod, I still have an extra that I can take so I mentioned not to sweat it if the time frame is too short. Right after his associate took my info. I walked around the shop looking for a spinning reel. Let me tell you now that they have an excellent inventory. (They also sell used reels for beginners). I ended up grabbing a Daiwa BG 5000 spinning reel. I also purchased a 20lb braided line+mono to go along with the new reel plus new weights and swivels. I ended up spending less than I expected. Their prices are very reasonable so you really won't have to worry breaking your wallet. Going back to the repair. I called him Thursday (today) to ask if he was able to fix the rod and sure enough he was able to get the job done Went in to pick it up, checked it out and was very happy with what I saw.0 I highly recommend trying this place out. I've spent around $2,000 here at this store, they used to be very cool and helpful now I wouldn't even recommend this place. I bought a rod and reel for around $550 this past week and was told the rod has lifetime warranty if I have a problem I could bring it into the store and get another, I go fishing and the handle breaks and I take it in today and I'm told I have to ship it out to Texas and do all this other stuff when just a couple of days ago I was told I could just take it into the store and get a new one if I had any problems. This just shows how they will say anything to get a sale then when the time comes they don't even try to help, I asked if they cam help me with some info on how to do it and was told to go to their website. Just recently got into fishing and now I'm really hooked, literally. I came here with a friend to pick up some tackle for a small fishing trip. Kevin, I believe who is the owner was really helpful and answered any questions that we had regarding what size hooks to get, what kind of bait to use, and what kind of sinkers would work best. It's a small Mom and Pop shop, but this place has it all. You can get live bait here, soft plastics, lures, hooks, sinkers, anything you really need for fishing. I've been into saltwater fishing lately because of the pandemic and there are lots of things that I do not know. I have watched a lot of Youtube videos and read books to learn this new venture. The prices are reasonable but the important reason why I frequently come is their customer service. I tell you as a novice angler, I have learned a lot of tips and techniques about fishing. Kevin (I guess is the manager) is helpful and accommodating. The knowledge and wisdom from an experience angler is priceless! Although, I have never caught many fishes yet, I feel like I'm being prepared and being confident in catching the BIG one!
