Moises Auto Body & Paint is a great company, and Marcos is super easy to work with and helpful. I…read morestopped by one afternoon to get an estimate on re-painting one door of my car that had been previously worked on by a mobile dent removal/paint guy, and the roof because the clear coat was wearing out due to sun damage. It wasn't looking good and I plan to keep the car for another five years or so, so I figured I should look into this. Marcos took a look at the areas that needed work, then brought me into his office. He typed up some information in the computer and got me a quote within 10 or 15 minutes, no problem. The cost was about what I expected and I didn't even bother getting a second opinion. Based on the number of great reviews on Moises, I figured I had found the right place. I scheduled a time to drop the car off on a Monday morning hoping I would only have to rent a car until Friday. They literally got to work right away, sending me photos of the car being worked on by noon. It turned out that the mobile dent guy had done some pretty shoddy work underneath his paint job, and that I would need a new door skin as well if I wanted the car to really look its best. Marcos was honest and said I didn't have to go this route, and could keep it the way it was, but it wouldn't look as good. It would be ok, and better than it currently looked, but if I wanted it pristine, I should consider the new door skin. I figured I'm going this far, so we might as well do it right. The car was ready by Friday afternoon as promised, even though they had to order a new door skin which was not in the plan. When I picked the car up Friday, it looked perfect. In fact, the whole car looked fantastic. The paint was blended perfectly. I feel so much better about this car now. One added bonus to all of this is that Marcos noticed my magnet on the back of the car that says "I [heart] my dachshund," and Marcos mentioned he also has two dachshunds. I always know I can trust a dachshund lover. The only problem is that Marcos is an LAFC fan, and as I am a huge LA Galaxy fan, it was difficult to accept this!

First I have to say that I contacted every top-rated dent repair business on Yelp to compare…read morequotes, and took my car to a couple of respected local businesses that specialize in paintless repair. Express Dent & Paint was THE ONLY business that had the confidence to try and repair my car. The dent was in a very difficult spot along the edge of the fender, right on a crease. They were totally honest and transparent from the start that they couldn't guarantee a 100% repair (that would require regular body work/respray). But they were confident they could get it at least 70% repaired. Chris arrived and was very polite and professional. He got to work but after a while it was proving to be more challenging than expected due to the thickness of the steel and the location on my fender. It was looking better but not up to the 70% he had hoped, so he said he would only charge me 50% of the quote for his time coming out if that was the best he could do. But he didn't give up, and with more glue pulling he made it look tons better! Now the dent is barely noticeable, and you'd have to really look for it to find it. In my opinion it was $300 well spent, and the remaining imperfection is not worth spending $1200 at a body shop on a 23-year-old car. Chris is a magician and I highly recommend Express Dent & Paint.

I had the front bumper repainted, and when I picked up the car, I was already disappointed. The finish had orange peel, visible wobbles, and dust trapped inside the paint. Vince Senior convinced me that it was the best he could do, and out of respect for him and because I was planning to sell the car anyway, I decided to accept it. However, things have only gotten worse. The car is driven by my wife, who never even drives on the freeway, and yet the smallest rock chip causes huge chips in the bumper. The car has only been driven about 400 miles, and it already looks like it's been driven 100,000 miles, with chips everywhere from just regular driving on surface streets. I spoke to Vince Junior about how unhappy I was with the paint job, and I told him that the problem is that they're using cheap, low-quality paint that chips way too easily. He tried to tell me that this is normal, but I explained that the bumper didn't look anything like this before the paint job, even with 90,000 miles on it. Now, just 400 miles later, it's a complete mess. At this point, I feel like I have no choice but to warn others and let them know about my experience. I really can't recommend this shop to anyone, and I definitely won't be going back.
