Mark is the guy who owns the site

mark is who owns the site. he cheated and scammed our family. we were very disappointed when no one showed up. we never got our $300 back, When we tried to ask why he got defensive. I love god but he was testing me with this man. Even if he's your last option, the final guy. Cook the food yourself. Because he won't do you good, and you'll end up making the food yourselves anyway and still losing the $300.

Hired them for catering for a company celebration and they did such a great job! They arrived about an hour and a half early to set up and get everything ready and going. Communication was great. We had five different meats including the vegetarian tacos. All of them had great flavor! There was plenty of sides for everyone to enjoy.

We hired Mark to cater our wedding and his service and food was amazing ! Our guest really enjoyed the tacos and everything else he had to offer. Mark also did a great job of communicating with me and making sure that things were good to go before the big day. Overall I am very pleased with the services and I would hire the. Again!! Thank you soo much .

I'm rating them five stars for their pollo asado tacos, which are really good. At first glance an…read moreorder of two looks like it might not be enough, until you pick one up. The tortilla can't hold the generous helping of chicken, which has a great flavor. By the time I finished the second one, and all of the chicken, onion and cilantro that spilled from the tacos, I was full. (I'm a senior citizen and I eat less now than I used to, so YMMV). I like their chicken tacos a lot better than Sombrero's chicken taco a la plancha, which has been my go to for lunch for years. That said, my wife prefers the California burrito at Sombrero, since the one from Chuy's had more fries than meat. The pollo asado quesadilla was very filling and very tasty (plenty of meat). Chuy's is right next door to Funky Burgers, and given the fresh food aspect of Chuy's offerings, I'd say Chuy's is probably better for you.

Chuy's doesn't bother with theatrics. It's a straight shot of San Diego comfort: a counter, a warm…read moregriddle, and a crew that treats your custom order like it's the most natural thing in the world. I ordered a California burrito and asked to swap in adobado pork. No hesitation, no side‑eye, just a nod and a "you got it." That alone puts them ahead of half the shops in the county. The burrito itself delivered. The adobado came through with that deep red glow and smoky tang, the kind of flavor that feels like it's been tended to, not rushed. Fold that into fries, cheese, and a tortilla doing quiet, reliable work, and you get a bite that hits all the right notes. Rich, bright, salty, satisfying. It's a simple thing done well, which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood taco shop. Chuy's isn't trying to reinvent the wheel. They're just making a damn good burrito and treating you right while they do it.

Hands down the best tacos I have had in San Diego. I was actually blown away by this place. I have…read moredriven past it countless times and was always intrigued by the cute mascot and the outside decorations, but I was also confused why there was almost never anyone inside eating or grabbing food. The parking lot looked exactly how it always does. Barely any cars and no one inside when we arrived. There is plenty of seating though with booths inside and some outdoor seating as well. The menu is posted above the register and has a ton of options that all sounded really good. They also have bottled aguas frescas like horchata and jamaica. Another reviewer mentioned they are house made. They also offer canned sodas, bottled drinks, and juices. I ordered three tacos: the New York steak taco (their version of carne asada), a cabeza taco, and a carnitas taco. My husband ordered the flour quesadilla with asada and two al pastor tacos. There is a salsa bar with hot sauce, red salsa, limes, radishes, grilled onions, and grilled peppers. My favorite thing there was the grilled onions. They were a little cold so I'm assuming they had been sitting there for a while, but they were still so good. Our food was brought out to our table. Service was pretty neutral. Nothing amazing but everything was smooth. I asked for no salsa on my tacos because the employee mentioned the same salsas were already at the salsa bar so I could add what I wanted myself. When the tacos came out they looked incredible and smelled even better. The New York steak taco was a thin slice of steak laid on the tortilla topped with guacamole, onions, cilantro, and beans. My husband got the quesadilla version of this and it was honestly amazing. The cheese was that perfect melty quesadilla cheese. I have never had beans on an asada taco before but it added such a nice touch of flavor and saltiness. The steak itself was sliced thin enough where every bite was tender and full of that rich beefy flavor. The al pastor taco really stood out too. Unlike a lot of places that use ground pork with seasoning, this tasted like real al pastor. The pork was juicy in the middle with a crisp exterior that made every bite really satisfying. The cabeza taco is what really sold me though. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. You can tell it was cooked slowly. The carnitas taco was different from what I'm used to but in the best way. Instead of shredded pork it was large chunks of carnitas. It was juicy, flavorful, and made me rethink how carnitas tacos should be done. Every bite kept confirming the same thought in my head that this might be the best taco spot I've tried in San Diego. I still have a lot more places to explore around the city but this place definitely set the bar really high.
