We had Your Taco Guys for the Winter Wonderland at our school! Specifically Elizabeth and Pablo, who were the friendly staff that evening! They arrived an hour early to make sure that they had adequate amount of time to set up prior to our event! They were flexible with their placement outside of the multipurpose room. Hired YTG for our wedding in Livermore. They were great at first but after trying to get in contact with them, my faith in them was going down. We called, texted, and emailed and couldn't get a response back. Finally they reached back out to us and we're back in contact with us up until the day of. I was notified by my coordinator they did show up late but they were still able to get everything set up on time. Our guests gave us many compliments on the food and said it was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the horchata as it tasted bland and seemed like it didn't have enough sugar or cinnamon. But as long as my guests were happy with the food, I was happy. One thing we were told was the guy was slow and didn't interact with our guests when they were talking to them and seemed like they should of had a bigger grill. We had Your Taco Guys handled the catering for our 50th Amador High school reunion in Pleasanton last Saturday night at the Veterans Hall. They were easy to book, and very helpful with making arrangements. They did an excellent job arriving on time to set up and start serving by agreed time. And, made sure everything was cleaned up when they finished. The guests were all pleased with the food choices we did. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. The two workers that were there kept me in the loop as to what they were doing at all times. The only thing I would suggest for a group as big as ours was, is that they have a 3rd person checking the buffet tables when things were running out. What amazing service all around from Your Taco Guy! The whole process was simple, easy, and delicious. I emailed a request with my event information and submitted my order. They were In constant communication the entire time. The crew members that showed up were extremely efficient and friendly. They promptly set up for service that was ready for us to enjoy. I ordered the Taquiza Package and added on Quesadillas and two trays of Veggies for our vegetarian friends. This included the salsa bar with all of the fixings, chips, and limes. The tamales were a hit! I also had Your Taco Guy to cater a Lawrence Elementary Staff Training. We had a graduation party for my son this past weekend. With about 75 guests, I did not want the task of cooking for everyone. Your Taco Guy was AMAZING! They arrived about 90 minutes before our guests arrived to set up and start cooking. The smell of the food was delicious and we couldn't wait to eat. We served 3 different kinds of grilled meat, refried beans, rice, quesadillas, plus all the taco fixings we needed. Our guests loved the food and there was plenty for everyone. We hosted 45 guests and chose the Taquiza Package with Guacamole, Quesabirria, and Full Grilled Veggie pan upgrades. They showed up on time, set up in the most convenient way in our backyard, our guests raved about the food. There was plenty for our guests to go back for seconds. After reading reviews I thought this would be a great place to cater my son's first birthday. Unfortunately the food was dropped off over an hour late, and the order was completely incorrect. I was missing over $120 in food. Not counting taxes. It's been 4 days and they have not responded to any texts or phone calls regarding a refund. Your Taco Guy catered a party at my parents' house and they were absolutely great! Their prices for catering are really reasonable and the tacos and quesadillas were delicious. We had the carnitas, carne asada, and chicken. We also had them bring grilled veggies as part of the self serve buffet for vegetarians and they were willing to make veggie tacos or quesadillas with them on the grill. They had mainly corn tacos but also brought flour tacos. They were fast and efficient and all the food was made to order and hot upon delivery. They even remembered who ordered what and had several orders going at once so there was never a long line. There was TONS of food leftover (we ran it back with breakfast tacos the next morning) and everyone had their fill. The guys who came out were awesome, super nice and were willing to take everyone's individual preferences when making the tacos. All the salsas for the tacos were very good and the brought everything you need for a good taco (except guacamole, which I knew they wouldn't be bringing and made). Honestly, living in LA, home of some of the best Mexican food around, I wasn't expecting much from East Bay Mexican food but I stand corrected!
