I have used Your Way Tree Service for over 10 years to maintain the 13 mature trees on my property. During that time, their tree work has consistently been strong. They have done an excellent job managing tree height, overall health, and shaping, and I have always been satisfied with their tree trimming services. When I learned that Your Way launched a yard maintenance offering last year, I decided to use them again to trim the shrubs around my home. My request was straightforward: create clearance around the house to allow for painting and reshape the shrubs so they looked clean and balanced. A crew of approximately four people worked on the property for a couple of hours. Because I was in back-to-back work meetings, I paid at completion without closely reviewing the work, relying on my positive past experience with their tree services. After reviewing the work the following day, I found that the focus was primarily on creating space between the shrubs and the house. Some plants were lightly thinned or shaped, but several -- particularly the California sages -- were not shaped at all, leaving many shrubs uneven and lopsided in appearance. The result did not meet my expectations for shrub pruning. I will continue to use Your Way for tree trimming, where they have consistently delivered good results, but I will likely look elsewhere for shrub maintenance going forward. The tree specialist they sent out was Patrick and he was actually a tree specialist with a certified arborist license which was impressive. He was friendly, professional and knew everything about all of the different trees and bushes that needed to be trimmed and/or removed. My job was a fairly large one as there were trees to be removed, many trees to be trimmed and bushes to be removed and/or trimmed. The manager and workers showed up at 8am. FYI- There were 8 workers who worked their butts off all day and were able to get the job done same day which was much better for me instead of the work stretching across multiple days. The only way, is Your Way Tree Service! There is no better company to use for tree removal. We watched them remove colossal trees for 2 straight days. And when I say colossal, I'm talking over 300 feet tall with big, wide trunk. They were SAFE, they followed OSHA standards, they had the right equipment for a very intense and difficult job. They cleaned the area following the conclusion of the job. Their climber was FEARLESS! Wow! And their crane operator stayed cool and collected even with windy conditions. I could not be more impressed! The area these trees were removed presents all kinds of challenging terrain (and people!) but they navigated all the obstacles with ease. We booked them due to their fast responses and within 2 days they were here ready to work. They came in with a a truck and a crew. Two palm trees that needed heavy trimming took them an hour from arrival to finish. Within 10 min of arrival they were up in the trees cutting away. Clean up was fast, shredded all they took down and cleaned the premises and even skimmed the pool. All staff was friendly and greeted us when they came in and left. We are truly happy with our recent tree service. Your Way Tree Service was very professional from the time of the estimate through finishing the tree trimming. I liked that their estimate was competitively priced and detailed with photos and descriptions of the work to be done. A crew of about 6 or 7 guys came and did all of the work in a day. After a few years of being happy with a tree trimming service, yet very unhappy with their exorbitant costs, I found Your Way Tree Service on Yelp. I was a bit skeptical that they would be inexpensive and do a spectacular job, but that was the case. Absolutely amazing! I spoke with Lynette who is a sweetheart when I called. She also is on top of things. She knows what she is doing. Clinton came to my home promptly to meet with me, see what I needed to have done. It was scheduled for the next day. They called to confirm ahead of time. They called me a half hour before arrival as I requested. I needed to have 4 mature trees trimmed, including a huge jacaranda, a strawberry tree, a lemon tree, and my large hass avocado tree as well as my neighbor's ficus bushes that were over on my side of our mutual block wall removed. I needed all trees thinned out, raised up, the jacaranda tree away from my roof and skylight (yeah, what a mess), lemon and avocado tree raised up off of the ground (unripe avocados fall down and one of my rescue dogs eats them. . .don't ask. . . I also wanted everything away from my walkways. Yes I wanted a lot. I was home that day, and went out a couple of times to ensure I got it done "my way" and they were so pleasant about my unnecessary micro-managing. They did a great job as I mentioned. All was done in 1 day, everything cleaned up afterwards. I am so glad I took a chance with them and obviously highly recommend them.
