This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any Verizon location. I went into this Whitestone store on November 15, 2025, for a simple phone upgrade, and instead I became a victim of what I consider fraudulent and deceptive business practices. Without my knowledge or consent, the store added an extra wireless line to my account and attempted to push it through as part of the upgrade. I never agreed to an additional line, never requested one, and was never informed that it was being added. I discovered this only by checking my account afterward. The new line number was 347-233-0663. This line was created without authorization and used for a promotion I did not approve. When I called Verizon customer service the next day, I spoke with Jason and later with a supervisor named Jao, who both confirmed that this line should not have been added and that the transaction from the store looked suspicious. The fraudulent line has now been disconnected, but I should never have had to deal with this mess in the first place. The fact that a Verizon store employee can add a line to a loyal customer's account without permission is completely unacceptable. This creates serious trust and security concerns. Instead of transparency, the store relied on misleading sales tactics and false advertising to push a promotion that I never consented to. This location needs a full investigation. I strongly warn anyone considering visiting this store to be extremely careful and to double-check everything they do on your account. Based on my experience, this store does not act in the best interest of its customers, and the level of dishonesty I encountered was shocking. Avoid this store at all costs. read more

If I could give NO STARS to the Whitestone Branch, that would be my option. Just left this store, 3.17.23 after standing there for 8 minutes, being completely ignored by the 1 member of staff present. Yes, he was serving someone, but the least you could do in such a small store when it is OBVIOUS someone is standing there, is say HELLO. Only when I was leaving did the rude server have the gall to ask if he could help me!. Seriously, you need to train your staff in BASIC POLITENESS. read more

They changed my phone plan without my consent. I went in to upgrade my phone and when I checked my next bill they had upgraded my plan and added a protection plan that I declined. They are deceitful. read more

I came here to upgrade my iPhone with an upgrade promotion. The employee Rayhan Chowdhury was helpful and answered my questions. When I went to pay, he told me what he was charging me for (taxes on the phone and a case) and what the total was. When I looked at the receipt after I left the store, I noticed a $40 "pro setup" fee that was never discussed, but added onto the bill for the taxes and case. Had he been honest and told me he was charging for his assistance, I may not have had an issue paying for it. But he blatantly snuck the charge onto my bill without mentioning it to me at all. Not happy. Don't go to Verizon authorized retailers. They are all sketchy and they all suck. read more

Nice store. Only one worker. People sit there for over a half hour to get service. Worker on the phone with Verizon and doesn't even pick up his head to say "excuse me one minute please". Nothing. No acknowledgement. Older woman sitting here over an hour. Worker didn't even look at her. Complete ignoring. Do NOT come to this store. Verizon should teach their workers some customer service and manners. And Verizon is making enough money to put a second person in this store on a busy Saturday. read more

Finally a Verizon store in my neighborhood that doesn't have a 2 hour wait and they So friendly and courteous. Instead of ordering our phones that they did not have in stock they picked it up from another store and made an appointment for me for the next day. The process of activating a new phone is usually long and tedious but this was quick and easy. Thank you Alex, Delveer and Daniel, u guys r awesome ! read more

Mr. Rizan of this Verizon store on 150th St. and 14th Ave. in Whitestone, NY is incompetent and should be fired as he creates a bad reputation for Verizon. He cost my stepsons three trips from Long Island and almost $500 to pay the balance of three Sprint phones only to be correctly advised afterwards by the district manager, Mr. Savik, that one of the three phones is not compatible with Verizon. That would have cost another telephone purchase with Verizon which is precisely what Mr. Rizan failed to check before giving earlier advice about the preliminary leg work that my stepsons had already incurred unnecessary bulk expenses on. They could have continued to pay their phones in installments. Fortunately, Sprint reinstated my stepsons' plan. However, the five of us were unable to shift to one Verizon plan as we aimed for in order reduce our mobile phone plans. The five of us now have separate mobile phone expenses that total $250-$260 instead of $160-$170. All due to Mr. Rizan's incompetence. In this world of fierce competitions, Verizon must ensure that its stores and franchise-holders' stores have representatives who are knowledgeable and responsible in order to retain customers loyalty. Our experience has been a nightmare with financial consequences. Stay away from Mr. Rizan!!! Verizon's Ms. Hailey kindly assisted in issuing us a two-month pro-rated credit for my husband's line access amounting to $37.19; however, it is insignificant compared to all the trouble and expenses that we went through. It is also unthinkable how Verizon GB plans do not allow the 5GB to be shared by two line holders. Yet, Verizon has a 4GB and 2GB plan for two lines. Verizon automatically shifted us to their 8GB plan, which raises our bill by $30, when based on my few months' usage, I barely utilized my 5GB plan. read more

Savik is the man!!! I was having issues with my Verizon fios and I tried to call customer service to only find them rude and unhelpful. I came to the store and Savik not only fixed the issue, he made it even better by getting me a better price. Also, the store has Verizon wireless, so he looked into my wireless plan and got me a discount I didn't know I had. If you need anything dealing with Verizon, I suggest you go here! Better yet, go talk with Savik! He will take care of you like family! read more
