I simply asked if there was anything they could do, especially since I had driven an hour to get there\. Instead of trying to help or find a solution, the woman repeatedly told me, "It was your mistake," and said that because the massage therapist was already there, I would have to be charged\. When I asked if I could speak with a manager, she told me that she was the manager\. What upset me the most was not the reservation mistake\. Mistakes happen\. It was the complete lack of empathy and the way I was spoken to\. I was already anxious and explained that I wasn't feeling well, yet I was repeatedly told that it was my fault and that nothing could be done\. When I finally left, she said, "Try to have a good day, ma'am," in a tone that felt very sarcastic and dismissive\.
