First float experience EVER and I was really impressed! This place was super clean, well designed, relaxing and very helpful staff. The process was explained to me, so I knew exactly what to expect from start to finish. The actual float chamber was very cool with music and changing light colors. Lots of way to customize your experience with the music and even color of light. Overall it was a wonderful 60 minute float and I will definitely be back. Give it a try if you are on the fence!

First time floater here and all I can say is WOW. Capitol Floats is an experience from the moment you walk in. A beautiful spa like environment with little touches of the owner's whimsy. When I walked in to my float room it was clean and the accessories needed (ear plugs, robe, water, tissues) were neatly placed on the bench inside. Floating is surreal. I felt like I was falling (in the best way) in a magical galaxy. All senses are at peace and your body becomes relaxed in a way you've never imagined. Quick word of advice: do not apply any oils (especially peppermint!) to your face or body beforehand. Upon exiting my float room I felt so refreshed. There is tea and a really awesome book collection (including amazing coloring books and animal spirit tarot cards) in the post float lounge. 10/10 would recommend.

If you haven't tried floating, you're missing out. Seriously good stuff. Back pain? Stiff neck, shoulders? Buh-bye! And then there are the mental health benefits! You can choose to do it sensory deprivation style too (which I highly recommend). I'm telling you, TRY IT! This spa is very nice. Immaculately clean, lots of natural light, positive energy, and good vibes. Friendly and welcoming staff. I tried the infrared sauna for the first time and it was a perfect pre-float ritual. It's a very relaxing, soothing heat and a bit different from any other sauna I've tried. I personally liked this one much better. You can implement Chromotherapy to your liking and can even use your own music through Bluetooth speakers. Loved my experience and I'll definitely be back!

Such a fun, under the radar spot. I first tried infrared sauna, then meditation pod, finally I tried the float tank today. I actually did the meditation pod, then the float. Loved it. Taking time out for ourselves is so important. This is a great place to chill, drink blueberry mint kombucha ( best I've ever had ) sauna, meditation, float. So grateful I found this gem.

It's clean and they have given much attention to all the details to make your experience enjoyable. Brandy is their jewel. When they great you, you already start to relax. First off, I really appreciate that although I had a handful of unused floats from the past ownership, and although the current owner didn't have to, I was able to redeem 2 of them. So that was really generous of her. What stands out from the past is, the current owner goes above & beyond to be hospitable. As many times as I've been here, it's the 1st time someone has ever gave me a full tour & explained everything the way she did . After showing me how the new music system works, she showed me the relaxation room that has the oxygen, essential oils, hot tea (yum!) & coloring books. Then, she showed me the after care room which has a blow dryer, qtips, cotton balls, hair ties, lotion, hair care sprays & the bathroom. I really appreciated she allowed me to have room 4, which is significantly bigger than the other rooms. Then, she explained the items there for me, like the extra towels, instructions for 1st time floaters, towels, jelly for cuts, the earplugs (which you should put in before going in the pod), the eyespray which I used a few times in the past or else saltwater can burn your eyeballs, so don't do that! You've been forewarned. There's a sign for the shower which states you are supposed to do that both before & after getting in & out of the pod. There's shampoo, conditioner, & body wash provided. It was a great float but it was an exceptional experience because of the new owner. Even at the end, we conversed about balancing kids, owning a business & I also rescheduled before I left. I highly suggest to give it a try especially if you're a former customer, a new one or if you're just thinking about trying it. I really like the current vibe, fresh modern decor and the friendliness of the owner & I'd definitely go back. Great place to unwind & detox your mind & body after all that Christmas shopping too.

This place is interesting, and looks nice and relaxing, but it just too many issues for me to return, I always like to try new places, experience the atmosphere, and hope for just a well relaxing time. I wish i got a Picture of the outside wall, art work, its actually pretty cool and vibrant. OH kay, lol... this were it starts to snow ball and go down hill , gaining mass and speed.. first off the staff were super friendly but we waited about 10 mins at the front counter before someone came to the front. We waited for our spas, enjoyed some def caf tea, as we sat in the waiting area / lounge. Across from us was a small Sauna, I am guessing 2 people could fit in ther would be very close to the other person I would think, so you better be friendly with them ;-) ;-) Needless to say, did not go in there. lol The Lounge area was somewhat split up, with some couches in the main area, which a couple was over there just laying spread out, so did not want to sit to close to someone else and ruin there experience. Ok, so finally get in to the spa room, its kinda cool , the shower is at the entrance of the spa, there is a bench to sit and take shoes off or what not. Basically you strip down, (Yehaa). Dont get any ideas here, this is a solo spa, not sure if they have couple's or not.. but this was a Solo experience. Take a shower, open the door, and carefuly get into the spa. I found the floor to be super slippery. And someone like me, i have poor balancing due to a brain surgery years ago... But ya, the floor was super slick, no grip on the ground, just tile like. There was a mat, but it was a joke, really thin, and did not grip let alone didnt help. so lets get into the spa, aaawww! Well thats what i was hoping for, my ass hit the bottom of the spa, Now Ive been to 3 different spas, and all of them were deeper then this one. That and there is soooo much salt in there you'll float. Salt was there but stuck to the bottom , with my bottom... lol.. It ruined the experience for us, I wasnt the only one complaining about this. But needless to say our experience wasn't that relaxing, and fear for my life walking around on the slik was a thing... :-(

Please note this review is not a reflection of the staff, just my personal opinion of the overall experience. The masseuse and esthetician were good however I had a few issues with the location. Located in a business park and very close to a main road right across from a high school. Upon entering the clean waiting room I was greeted and given paperwork to complete. There was a diffuser on, with a pleasant smell however the scent was extremely overwhelming...like hit you in the back of the throat, coughing overwhelming. While I waiting I noted there are two treatment rooms directly off of the waiting room, odd as I've always been to places where the check in/waiting area is separate from any treatment rooms. So close in-fact I could hear another guest talking to her masseuse. I was praying I wouldn't get the other room off the waiting area, but just my luck that was my room. My masseuse was very pleasant and did a good job. I had no issue with the service but the environment was so far from relaxing. Upon entering my room I noticed how bright it was. No overhead light but a lamp on and a large window with sheer drapes which let in a lot of light. This window also received direct sun which made the room very warm on a 100+ degree day. The massage started and I was trying to relax when there was conversation in the waiting room, a man was checking out and speaking very loud, he then excited the spa. There is a literal bell on the door handle which goes off every time someone enter or exits, if that wasn't enough there is an electronic chime that ALSO goes off every time the front door is used. I understand the purpose but it is far from relaxing hearing multiple chimes/bells when the front door is used. The bell/chimes went off multiple times during my service, very distracting. My treatment room shared the front wall of the business which has parking spots a sidewalks length away. I had the joy of hearing every car door open/close, honks from doors being locked and someone's very loud stereo, don't forget the motorcycle rev. The business is close to the road so you hear the traffic going by. I was there on a weekend so the traffic from the high school wasn't bad and most if not all businesses in the business park were closed. I can't imagine how loud it would be during the week. Following my service I was instructed to put on a robe and wait in the waiting area for my next service. I found it uncomfortable siting in my robe in a public waiting area while I held my clothes in my arms. I was then escorted to my next service, I was optimistic as I was taken back into the spa. Just my luck my next room was located with the main wall against the roadway. Thankfully I had a head wrap on and the facial steamer helped mask the sound of the passing traffic. But again, I could still hear the electronic chime every time someone used the from door. My service was good and the esthetician was pleasant and knowledgeable. I booked my appointment the night before and received multiple "reminder" texts the day of which was nice I'm on the fence if I will return or not, if I did it would only be for a facial as the environment is not relaxing for a massage in my opinion. .

I truly love the concept, even though for me the experience felt a bit overstimulating and physically stretching at times. Where I found myself disappointed was more with the level of customer care than the service itself, especially knowing this was my first visit. After my float, I enjoyed the oxygen bar and mentioned interest in learning more about another service option. During my oxygen session, the receptionist kindly offered to bring me tea, but it never arrived. By the end of the session, I noticed staff members chatting at the front while I was left feeling a little unsure about next steps. The staff were not rude at all, they were polite, but I did leave feeling like a bit more attentiveness and, guidance could have made a meaningful difference, especially for a first-time guest. The facilities themselves were generally clean and the overall concept has a lot of potential. With a little more intentional customer care and follow-through, I think this could become a much stronger experience.

I've been to another float center in Redwood with a friend, so it was nice to find one close to home. I put a cloth in the lid to keep it open a crack and to help mark my orientation if I get up and want to readjust. I find that I prefer wave sounds and my husband likes music. I like to start with lights, then lights off for a minute, then I eventually mentally "drop down" into peace and darkness for like a half hour or so. Sometimes faster or slower. Really it's great for any body soreness and mental fatigue. I usually notice a 2-for-1 special and buy that and do a float "date" with my husband. So we usually get a sitter, catch a bite, connect and float. My hubby found out he had a lot of scratches on the last one... so they told him to reschedule no cost when he felt better. How considerate! I have been here 4 times now, but that felt so considerate that I trust them and really look forward to going back. I really like how close they are to a few spots I need things from as well. Since I'm out of town, we stop by the stores or eateries and cafes nearby to make it a treat.
