N6 Noodles with scallion oil and chicken: Very good richly flavored non- spicy option. Here we substituted bok choy fur the edamame.

Yu Noodles is a great local chain that's rapidly expanding. No notes. Today we tried sone new things that I hadn't seen photographed on Yelp: N5 Yibin Dry Noodle with minced pork: Excellent N6 Noodles with scallion oil and chicken: Very good richly flavored non- spicy option S14 Shrimp and Chive Dumplings: Large and intensely shrimp-flavored.

Yu Noodles easily lands at a 4.7 out of 5 for me--casual, fast, and way better than it needs to be for the price. The cucumber salad with garlic and peanuts is cold, crunchy, and super garlicky, with just enough tang and peanut crunch that it's a must-order. Both beef and pork soup dumplings come out hot with thin but sturdy wrappers; the beef is rich and savory, but the pork edges it out with more broth and a slightly sweeter, deeper flavor. Overall, this is an easy "would come back again" spot and an excellent go-to for dumpling cravings. the staff are awesome and tend to your every

1.8.26 The restaurant recently opened this past November. My household received a coupon ($5 off $30) in the mail so we wanted to give it a try. You are "served" at this restaurant, but once your order is taken and your food is brought to you, there is no additional service. Our server never came by to check on us. I had to get our server twice to order a poached egg and ask for additional napkins. I enjoyed my pork chop noodle soup. The pork chop was well seasoned, tender, and juicy. Whenever my hubby and I have made at home, they end up overcooked and dry. The noodles were recommended by our server and didn't disappoint. My hubby ordered the peppercorn and spicy chicken, which we would have liked more had they not been saturated in chili sauce. He moved them onto another plate and said he would use a different sauce at home. The only time our server came to us when we were done, which was disappointing. She recommended the Taiwanese sausage for our next visit. I'd give the food 5 stars based on my entree and the service only a 3. Our server was nice, but inattentive.

This was another recommendation of my sister in law and brother. They know a lot of places here in Columbia. Everything that we ordered was great. My favorite was the N4 noodles which was the Beef Sichuan Noodles. It was so flavorful the soup was great, the noodles were very good. My sister in law said this are good standard for Chinese food she's from China and she's our authenticator of Chinese food. She has very good taste as well so when she recommends something you know it's gonna hit. Service was good they were very patient on waiting for us to decide for our orders. I do not feel rushed. They served the food with really good portions and i am very happy with their portions. The whole vibe was good. Plenty of seating available. They give cute balloon animal headbands to children. My 6 year old niece got one. It was so cute! We will definitely be back here.

Panfried Chive & Pork Dumplings The ground pork had an unfamiliar texture to it. It was also lacking flavor. They were pan fried perfectly, with a golden brown bottom. Porkchop noodle soup I like that the noddles were handmade. The bone broth for the soup was flavorless. The pork chop was perfectly fried and tender. However with it being bone it, it made it challenging to get a piece of chop with noodle. It made you eat them more separately than together. That may be the intent, I'm use to soup being more cohesive with each spoonful. I also felt like it needed more, being only topped with corn kernels left it kind of plain. All in all it was just okay. The staff were very nice. The service was quick. While this place did not feed my soul, maybe its feeds yours?

Yu Noodles in Columbia is a fantastic new spot, especially if you're a dumpling lover. I can't eat pork, so I'm always a little nervous trying a place known for dumplings, but their non-pork options are excellent. The chicken and shrimp pan-fried dumplings were outstanding: perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavorful, juicy filling. The Sichuan beef noodles were another hit, rich, bold, and full of that addictive Sichuan spice without being overwhelming. I genuinely enjoyed everything I tried except the scallion pancake, which had very little scallion and didn't deliver the same punch of flavor as the rest of the menu. Still, with the quality of their dumplings and noodles, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Excited to go back and try more!

About time this placed opened! Absolutely blown away by this place. From the moment we walked in, the modern and clean ambiance set the tone for a great meal. The service was impressively quick without ever feeling rushed. The dishes came out hot, fresh, and fast. As part of their opening, they gave a cute stuffed animal, which was such a fun touch! We started with the scallion pancakes, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft, savory, and not greasy on the inside. Then came the dumplings: the shrimp and pork soup dumplings. The wrappers were delicate yet sturdy, and the filling juicy. For mains, we tried the pork chop over rice with fried egg and minced pork. The pork chop was tender and somewhat sweet. Different from other pork chop dishes I've tried before. The seasoned minced pork and egg tied it all together. The flounder with sour pickled cabbage rice noodle soup was light on the tanginess. I wish the flavor was stronger and more impactful, but it was more on the light and hearty side. The Sichuan beef noodle soup is a must if you like heat - spicy, aromatic, and loaded with tender beef and soft noodles. We also ordered three desserts: the mango pomelo sago was refreshing and fragrant, my favorite. The black sticky rice with coconut milk and mango was good, however I wish there were more mango slices. The ice jelly with brown sugar was a favorite with my in-laws. Light, cool, and the perfect finish after the spicy dishes. A little pricey for each dessert though ($8). Every dish had bold, balanced flavors and felt thoughtfully prepared. Between the amazing food, quick service, modern ambiance, this spot truly stands out. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes!

Visited Yu Noodles for the first time and loved it! We were quickly seated upon arrival and got our food very fast after ordering! We had the potato tower, panfried pork buns and the rainbow soup dumplings. The potato tower was super crispy, and we loved the spicy seasoning on it. The pork buns were soft, could have had a little more filling, but we still loved them. The rainbow dumplings were so fun! We were excited to try each of the flavors. The peppercorn was our favorite! Can't wait to come back! Def check them out.

This is such a great place for soup dumplings! We got the pork soup dumplings and also ordered a couple meals to try. I had N1 which was good! Noodles with peanuts and an egg on top in a slightly spicy soup. We also got a mild chicken soup with. Oodles crispy chicken and broth. I can't wait to try more.

Checked out Yu Noodle in Columbia and had a really solid experience. The space is clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered a few dumplings and rice dishes. The soup dumplings had a generous amount of soup inside and were well-made, not dry at all. The standout for me was the crystal shrimp dumplings. Great texture, chewy skin, and really clean shrimp flavor. They were on the smaller side, but so good that it didn't matter. We also tried the pork rib fried rice, which was good overall, but the minced pork on top was actually the best part. Next time, I'd probably skip straight to the minced pork fried rice instead. Overall, a very solid spot for dumplings and noodles. I'll definitely be back.

    Plush for my kid

Yu Noodle in Columbia was such a great find! The restaurant is super clean, bright, and spacious. Service was friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We came with our two year old kid and they even gave us a small plush which I found to be so sweet! My favorite was the crystal shrimp dumplings. The dumpling skin was super chewy. We also ordered the soup dumplings, which I really liked & preferred over some of the other xiao long bao famous spots. I loved the option to be able to order smaller portions dishes kind of like tapas style. Price felt really reasonable. Overall had a great experience, loved that Yu Noodles opened up in Columbia! Great addition to the food scene :)

I was excited to finally try this place out. The place is in the shopping center with Qdoba, Roggenart and First Watch. The inside the restaurant is clean, modern and spacious. The staff were friendly but they seemed a bit short staffed and wasn't able to check up on us often. We ordered fried dumplings, spicy wontons, scallion pancakes, intestine noodle soup, Sichuan beef noodle soup, pork soup dumplings and ground pork and chicken over rice. I thought the scallion pancakes were too thin, ground pork and chicken over rice and soup dumplings were just ok. I did enjoy both noodle soups. I didn't try the spicy wontons but was told it was a bit salty. Overall, I enjoyed the place and would visit again to try other menu items.

Scallion pancakes with no scallions and looks and eats more like Indian paratha bread! Definitely got a bait and switch here!

It is still a bit far (35min), but doable. I also wasnt sure if i would be able to eat something because wheat noodles, but the staff were awesome enough to allow my substitution of wheat noodles for glass noodles in the dish i had chosen. I had originally made the nice lady very nervous with my request and she tried to convince me to try the dish that was advertised with the glass noodles, but i assured her that it would be fine as i normally eat noodles without soup. I ordered the 3 oil noodles with ground pork. It was very tasty. Especially after i added vinegar and the house chili oil. Definitely coming back.

I've visited a few times and keep coming back for the noodle soups. My go-to is the lamb noodle…read moresoup with a spicy broth, and it never disappoints--rich, flavorful, and packed with tender pieces of lamb. One of the highlights is the handmade noodles, which you can customize in thickness, from delicate angel hair to something as hearty as fettuccine. The menu has plenty of variety beyond soups, including dumplings, spring rolls, stir-fried noodles, and oil-tossed noodle dishes. I also tried the braised intestines on the side; while they were well-prepared, the texture wasn't quite for me--I'd probably enjoy them more if they were fried. Ordering is convenient, whether you prefer doing it in person, through the app, or at the kiosk. The space has a good number of tables for dining in, and there's even a piano if you know how to play. Overall, it's been a consistently enjoyable spot for lunch.
