We didn't know that so we had ordered one side of rice. As for the food, the portions are large. We got two meals out of them. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken with snow peas was a mild dish that came with an abundance of white meat chicken and a generous amount of snow peas. The snow peas had a nice crunch to them. The chicken with garlic sauce was mildly spicy and contained white meat chicken, sliced onions, and sliced celery. It reminded me of the same dish I had many years ago: same ingredients, same taste. My husband enjoyed his chicken dish. The hot and sour soup was okay. We've had better, but we've also had worse. If you like button mushrooms, they put a lot of them in this soup. Free parking is easy in a strip mall lot in downtown Vienna between the CVS and Giant. On the plus side, it has authentic Szechuan-style dishes, including dried cauliflower (savory blend of flavors with a hint of peppercorn), the baby bok choy with tofu skins (to enjoy and refresh the palate), Lazi Chicken (fried chicken bits with peppercorn), and stir-fry green beans. My sons devoured the Lazi Chicken dish and wished that it had more chicken chunks. Small bowls of white rice are included. They also have American-style Chinese food (e.g., kung-pao chicken) but we only ordered a small number of Szechuan-style dishes. On the minus side, it's a tiny space with a limited number of tables (most accommodate up to 4 people). Noise level is high, but maybe that was because it was Saturday night. I was here twice over the last two months. The first time, I ordered off the regular menu. The second time, I did the AYCE dim sum/tapas. Obviously, ordering a la carte, you'll get larger portions. You can't go wrong here, especially if you're getting one of the AYCE specials (there's a similar one at Mama Chang's). I want to note though, three of the dishes have the same flavor profile, just different main ingredients: spicy dry fish, spicy dry cauliflower, and dry fried spicy eggplant. They use dry fried red chili and ground Szechuan peppercorn. If you like this, great! Just know it's the same seasoning across these dishes. I didn't take photos of everything, but if it's braised pork xxxx, get it! I will gladly return to this location or Mama Chang's for another AYCE adventure.
