We met up for coffee to discuss what I was looking for and they were reasonably priced. I not only hired them on the spot for my wedding, but also scheduled an engagement photo shoot! Emelie and Andy are hard workers who also have a great eye. Additionally, I simply liked having them around, they felt like part of the wedding party! Emelie does more of the "portraiture" and Andy does more of the "action shots". They work effectively as a team. Emelie came to the hotel where I was getting ready early to get some "bridal prep" shots. Then Andy arrived so we could do a half-hour of "first look" photos. After that, the entire bridal party traveled over to a nearby park to do all of our official photos before the ceremony. Emelie and Andy had to sort of talk me into the park setting and I'm so glad they did!!! It was gorgeous. I love our official wedding shots, the setting is fantastic. I went back to the hotel with my bridesmaids, while the groom, groomsmen, and family headed to our house -- we got married in our back yard. Emelie and Andy were nice enough to drive my now-husband Gary in their car! We had a cocktail reception before the vows, where Emelie and Andy got a lot of great shots of the guests. Once I arrived, Andy got to work getting numerous "action shots" of the ceremony. They continued to take photos during the reception, one of my favorite being of my husband Gary and I signing karaoke together (yes, we had karaoke at our wedding!). Emelie and Andy only took a short time to sort, edit, and set up the online gallery, where I could purchase/download photos. I had a package where they photoshopped a certain number of photos for me, including in the price. Everything about the experience was streamlined and these two were so easy to work with. I had wished that I wiped the makeup off and went natural instead, since it didn't highlight my features but actually made them worse. I told Nadezhda my concerns and she took the extra mile to photoshop out the eyeshadow so that it would look better. FAVORITE PARTS ABOUT WORKING WITH HER: - She's so kind and punctual. She met me on time, and listened to my concerns. - She was fast at returning the photos and making sure that I loved them before finalizing - She knows the great photo spots.
