    chicken, gelato and mango drink
    John F.

I heard good thing about this new business from few folks, so, i wanted to check it out myself. I got to admit, they did a nice job revamping the place since the last occupant. They also opened the patio for customers which is great especially in summer time. Previous business of this location did not allow customers to use the patio, not sure the reason behind it. I ordered their grilled chicken croissant sandwich with a mango drink. When i was checking out their gelato collection, which is relatively small, the counter attendant offered me free samples. After trying few free gelato ice cream samples, i could not say no to a small serving of delicious gelato (i love gelato in general). Chicken sandwich was very good, chicken is grilled chicken, they warm it up before serving. I also saw a toaster oven but i didn't get my croissant toasted. It seemed fresh by looking at it, it tasted fresh as well. They bake and prepare their sandwich in front of you. They do not have lots of drink collection though, i tried mango drink which tasted good, better than many mango drinks or slushy i had before. Staff were very friendly as well. I will definitely return for more croissant sandwich.

Best croissant i have so far in Toronto.

This is a new cafe just opened up in the beach area. Their plain, butter croissant is out of this world! It reminds me of a cafe i used to visit while i was in Paris. A crispy, warm croissant with a cup of cappuccino is perfect way to start your day. Small, cozy atmosphere with very friendly customer service. They also have a small, rear patio. I would definitely recommend this place and will come visit again! I have to try their sandwiches. I heard very good things from other reviews and few of my friends who live in the beach area.

The croissants are good. Coffee is decent. Seating area the same as when Dufflet was there; clean and comfortable. The smoked salmon sandwich was ok, but expensive for the amount of salmon you get. They use Royal Chinet paper plates for the croissants, but glass coffee cups. We will come back. Good for a lazy Saturday breakfast.

Thank you Summer AND Yum Croissant!

Yum Croissant on Queen street, Toronto, is a diamond in the rough. When I took my 1 yr old granddaughter, my priceless gem, to our very first "Gran and Georgia" lunch date, Yum Croissant was a perfect match. "Summer" greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile. The combination ham, cheese, fresh croissant was a delicious, and healthy choice. In fact, it was so much so that this Gran and Baby Georgia returned for lunch the very next day! Thank you Summer, and Yum Croissant, we shall return!

My partner and I get this delivered through Uber and skip all the time. Always great. Love the peach lemonade and breakfast croissants.

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

I found my salmon cakes to be on the smaller side (they could have added a third) compared to the smoked salmon toast and even the BLT which were both HUGE. Also the pancakes were ever so slightly on the dry side. Good flavour though. Otherwise just an absolutely stunning rooftop location , super chill and friendly service from Jack. However, when i got off the elevator, there were 3 hosts at the stand, heads down or when their heads were up, they were talking to each other just total ignoring me. Dont even acknowledged me a tiny bit. I ended up just ignoring them back and walk in as my party was already here. I didnt exactly know where they were seated, ao i had to look around. Not the best experience. Food wise -- nothing on the menu stood out. But I wouldn't say we picked this spot for their food. Drinks were at best mid for the price. Could definitely get a nice fancy cocktail at that price point. Service was lacking, had to constantly look for our server. Table beside us was a couple whom were also not happy. But again, come for the views.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. If you need some breakfast in the Queen/Spadina area, this is the place to go!
