Phenomenal boba. Tons of options which I was a bit skeptical about, but the quality was pleasantly satisfying. Way better than the other options in Knoxville. The pearls were super soft and tasted fresher than other places. The drinks themselves were not overly sweet, too watered down, or too icy--just right ratio overall. I'm Vietnamese, and their Viet iced coffee tasted authentic for a franchise that doesn't have a super large Asian demographic in Knoxville. I was super surprised. Service was great, family ran. Ambiance is modern and aesthetic but cozy and clean.

The attitude of the workers sucks. They just want you gone. Their helpfulness is a two out of ten. They are very loud, they bang equipment, and the F word is used proliferately, even in front of customers. I am surprised that any of their machinery still works. They don't greet you when you enter. And they don't look you in the eye at any time unless you say something they feel is stupid. Then their look says it all! This is my second trip here. It is also my last.

Today I went through the drive-through and ordered a strawberry smoothie and the lady told me to pull around and park in front of the restaurant to get out of the drive-through and they would bring the smoothie out to me. I sat forever and finally I went inside and just asked for a refund and they asked me what I ordered and four ladies were standing - They're all confused and then finally the lady that had told me to park said "oh I do remember telling you to park"and then they pointed to my smoothie that had been sitting there the entire time. I get it mistakes happen but what was even more frustrating is a few months ago. I went through a drive-through and I ordered two smoothies and I requested almond butter in both of them because we have a peanut allergy I took that order to a friend's house that is about 20 minutes away and when we arrived there after drinking the smoothie, I realized that I had consumed peanut butter. I used my EpiPen a few hours later I went back and told them and all they could simply say was oops.

They have some really wide variety of dishes, you can get some very traditional dishes from Laos such as mango with fish sauce ( which I don't recommend unless you're very adventurous ). But there pho-rito is amazing as is just pretty much everything on the menu. One of the things I need to say about this place though is that the owner and staff are just so very nice and attentive. I really like to support local businesses and I really like to know the faces behind the businesses, and these are some of the most wonderful people on the planet. You'll be very happy with the food, the service, and the fact that your money is going to a local business staffed by wonderful people. Don't be intimidated if you don't know much about the cuisine, the staff will be happy to guide you and help you with anything on the menu. Just let them know your taste, your likes and dislikes, and your level of spice and they will guide you to some of those delicious food in knoxville. I will be back!

Tonight I enjoyed a satisfying meal at Stick Rice with the beef pho and shrimp spring rolls. The service was excellent and even though the place was slam packed. The place it not like your normal hole in the wall joint the decor os rich, clean, and modern. The pho arrived hot and fragrant, with a rich, savory broth that had plenty of depth without being overly salty. The beef was tender, the noodles were nicely cooked, and the fresh herbs and lime let me adjust each bite to my taste. Legit pho broth 4.1 meat 4.5 veggies how is everything good thank you 3.0 The shrimp spring rolls were an excellent starter--light, fresh, and neatly wrapped with crisp vegetables, rice noodles, and plump shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce added a creamy, slightly sweet contrast that paired nicely with the fresh ingredients. Overall, it was a comforting, flavorful meal that felt both fresh and filling. I would happily order the beef pho and shrimp spring rolls again.

Everything looked very clean, including the bathrooms, and the staff was friendly with good recommendations. I ordered the hot honey bagel $2.50 with scallion cream cheese $2.60 (3.25oz cup) and a honey lavender latte $8.00 with almond milk. The bagel was a little dry for my taste (being a New Yorker I'm used to NYC-style bagels), but the cream cheese was smooth/flavorful, perfectly creamy with the right chive ratio. The lavender latte was excellent--fragrant and really well balanced. Be ready to spend a bit. My BAGEL/cream cheese and latte came out to almost $15. Still a nice spot and I'd come back for the latte and the vibe.

Looked at their menu online and they served matcha -- let's go! The inside is deceiving from the outside. It seems like a small little coffee shop, but once inside it's HUGE. Lots of seating, including hanging chairs. Will have to check those out next time. I saw a specialty drink on the menu with espresso and rosemary simple syrup. You do NOT want to see me on coffee/espresso!! I figured I'd just add the rosemary simple syrup to my matcha. The server told me it was a "weird rule" that they're not allowed to add their "specialty drinks" syrups to any other drinks. I was disappointed, but I'll live. Maybe someday this "rule" can go away? I'll cross my fingers. Got my matcha with almond milk, it was very good. My husband got his dark coffee. It was a good Sunday.
