First time here and loved everything about it. First of all, General Manager Jessica is suuuper nice and friendly. She greeted us with great energy, making small talks. Told us everything is made in-house, even the sauces! That's really good to know and makes me feel better about the food. She even gave me a free delicious cookie for being a first timer! And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. Wow! Their house made gluten free foccacia bread is SO good, one of the best gluten free bread i have ever had! It's soft & has a delicious buttery foccacia, tastes just like regular gluten foccacia bread! Most of their menu could be made gluten free. I really enjoyed the Medierranean bowl with chimichurri steak for an extra $5 (chicken is $4), although I do wish there was more meat, kale & hummus. The gluten-free bread is amazing! They have several options for vegan sandwiches and the Portobello mushroom sandwich is absolutely delicious. While I can't say I've tried many items here, I can say I've tried a couple items and it was so good I came back again to get the same thing and it was just as good. The baja bowl is my favorite (probably for any ranch love). It's a perfect blend of grains, greens, and protein. Looks light but perfectly filling. The focaccia is delicious too. Overall no complaints. Good service too. I'll come back to try some other items if I can get away from the Baja. I decided to get the ahi salad for $15 and while I waited, I got some free mini cookies. Got home and tried everything. For $15, the salad was a decent size. I was going to eat it twice, but I decided to just finish it since it was a healthier choice. The salad dressing paired well with the rest of the salad. The cookies were fun to eat, soft and chewy, with hints of salt sprinkled on top. The bread the salad came with was good, too. I like that this place is near me and I wouldn't mind coming back for other healthy choices. They also have a banh mi tofu which I might try in the future. Stopped here before our road trip back home. I had a banh mi sandwich - I'm glad we decided to eat there because my sandwich was pretty messy but really good.
