Tried the cranberry Brie sandwich this time and the Really Good fish bowl! The bowl was a barramundi fish and it was cooked perfectly. Not too much where it would've been tough. While I can't say I've tried many items here, I can say I've tried a couple items and it was so good I came back again to get the same thing and it was just as good. The baja bowl is my favorite (probably for any ranch love). It's a perfect blend of grains, greens, and protein. Looks light but perfectly filling. The focaccia is delicious too. Overall no complaints. Good service too. I'll come back to try some other items if I can get away from the Baja. Upon entering I was helped right away. The place was a decent size and its clean. However, it's very sunny inside due to the location of the store. I decided to get the ahi salad for $15 and while I waited, I got some free mini cookies. Got home and tried everything. For $15, the salad was a decent size. I was going to eat it twice, but I decided to just finish it since it was a healthier choice. The salad dressing paired well with the rest of the salad. The cookies were fun to eat, soft and chewy, with hints of salt sprinkled on top. The bread the salad came with was good, too. I like that this place is near me and I wouldn't mind coming back for other healthy choices. They also have a banh mi tofu which I might try in the future. I get why Urbane Cafe holds a perfect 5 stars on both Yelp and Google. I ordered the High Protein Bowl with extra chicken, total came out to $15.98. Every bite was flavorful. The chicken was cooked well, and everything in the bowl worked together. Only downside is they added too much sauce for my liking... It soaked into the rice and overpowered some of the other flavors. My younger son had a cheese pizza, my older son had a turkey sandwich, my husband had the Southwest Chicken sandwich, and I had the Pesto & Sundried Tomato Chicken sandwich. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. What really stood out even more than the food was the service. The team member who helped us recommended a couple of our sandwiches and he was completely right. We enjoyed every bite. The ambiance was clean, modern, and very welcoming. The restaurant had a relaxed and family friendly vibe that made us feel comfortable right away. This is already one of my favorite places to eat at! The food is wonderful; so fresh and healthy. Lots of choices, including for vegetarians. The focaccia bread is out of this world. But I have to focus on giving praise to the amazing staff here. They are always friendly, helpful, ready to answer questions, and in my case, fix mistakes that were no fault of theirs but completely my fault. For example, when ordering on line I thought there was only one Bahnmi sandwich and since I don't eat meat, I thought I ordered the one with tofu. I quickly found out that there's also one with chicken. When I asked about it, the Manager, Jessica, rather than pointing out it was my mistake, offered to make me a new sandwich with the tofu and even let me take home the remaining chicken one for my son. The last time I was here, there was an issue with my card getting connected to the app and she patiently helped me and even offered me a beverage for any inconvenience. This is the way to run a business and to make sure it's successful; by treating customers with kindness and respect.
