So I checked it out, and ordered the Kung Pao Chicken combination dinner, w/ Shrimp Fried Rice. And it came with an EggRoll. Everything was really good! The Kung Pao Chicken had just enough spice; and was very flavorful. The Shrimp Fried Rice and EggRoll was very good as well. Although this business had not reopened their restaurant seating and is take out only, their food is still So delicious I'm happy we can still enjoy their fabulous food! Tonight I had the Spicy Kung Pao Chicken with Peanuts dinner, including fried rice and Pork and Cabbage egg roll. The heat was perfect for me, hearty portion of chicken, veggies and steaming hot when I got home. I love egg rolls and ordered 2 more on the side. They weren't as crunchy because of the steaming on the way home and I didn't notice anything but cabbage in them. But I and my sister still enjoyed our dinner. Gross..everything is just gross. The chicken isn't chicken, I don't know what meat that is. The health department need to go in and test that meat...it's definitely not chicken, it has to be iguana or something. The pad Thai was nasty. I'm surprised this place is still open. I asked for my beef with broccoli to come with fried rice instead of white rice, but instead they charged me for a side of fried rice. I didn't think anything about it, I expected it was an upcharge but no. I got rice and fried rice. The beef and broccoli is somehow greasy which I've NEVER experienced before with Chinese food. Whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant anywhere, I usually put them to the level of authenticity test. I order two things, and two things that I am very particular about... Mushu Pork and Singapore Noodles. After taking these dishes for a spin I've come to the conclusion, that this establishment one of the better decent fast chinese restaurants here downriver. We came here during its first ever opening, and found that the spot is hella nice and hella new. Not just that, their food is very good. Don't compare this spot to a proper chinese sit down restaurant. This is more of the fast food chinese spot. Compared to the "American" chinese joints, this place can trump them all. Oh man. I'm sorry. I wanted to like this place and I truly love Thai food. But this place was disgusting. The pad Thai tasted like someone put Buffalo hot sauce on it. The coconut shrimp was mushy. A Beautiful Designed Eating Spot with some Really Good Food. Our area of downriver has had now 6 new Chinese/Thai eating spot open in the last year. Each have their unique dishes and decor, this one the very nicest decor all brand new building that's very cozy and spacious. The best prices of all in the area with all the lunch specials under 6 bucks. We tried the ABC Almond Boneless Chicken and the General Tao's Chicken with came with a double scoop of fried rice and soup or egg roll we tried 2 soups the wonton and Tom Kha both really good. Tried a couple appetizers Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon both a hit with us. The service fast and friendly and super prices will get us back for much more. If I could give it Zero starts I would! I placed an order for take-out a veggie Pad Thai and a beef Pad Thai, shrimp with Lobster sauce that came with rice, and spring rolls. ($44.00 bill and I tipped the employee that took the order) I opened the order to plate the meal, I noticed the spring rolls were burned and the was no rice for the shrimp with lobster sauce. I called to let them know. The employee said, to "that they are prepared crispy" I said, these are beyond crispy. Love it. They have quality food and not your box order Chinese/Thai. They have my favorite new found addiction "Bubble Tea" make sure to ask for it frozen if you prefer slush. The first time i ordered it came with only ice. This wasn't bad either but still prefer the slush. I have had the pad thai- it's really really good(not the best I have had but it's also cheaper on the wallet) and I will say it's a close number #2 or 3. General Tso- same as pad Thai (B+)(A-) Bubble Tea- (A) up there on top- maybe the best. And the dining is also amazing! Very classy! Not your typical smelly dining area. Last night was my first time trying Yum Yum as a takeout option as it seems all other Chinese restaurants are closed on Mondays and they were the only one open, go figure. I spent $40 on two entrees- Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Chicken, and then an order of wonton soup. I want to be fair. The wonton was pretty good. The broth was good and the wonton was a bit thicker than I've had at other places, but I liked it. Both of our entrees were disgusting. The reason is they use some sort of paste instead of a sauce. I am not quite sure how to explain it, but let me explain that we were willing to stop eating after a few bites, squander $40 spent and find food elsewhere. I have never eaten at the location. But I have had Door Dash deliver twice to my house. Both times I have gotten Thai Fried Rice and it is delicious. My husband ordered it has well this time because it was so good last time. You get a huge serving. Enough for left overs. We decided next time we will just share one. But whenever I come here it's always really cold which is bizarre and the wait time is kindve long for what is definitely a lunch place. The texture and tenderness made me think it was coarsely chopped egg white when fresh But on reheat seemed to form up to a meaty texture. While surfing yelp for a Chinese restaurant to try in the area I was at, stumbled upon this place. From the outside it looks like it could be a carry out place but there is adequate seating for groups and booths also. It was nice and clean but quite empty, but it was 7:30 at night so that was to be expected. The menu had a large variety of items to choose from. I got excited when I seen they had Honey Walnut Shrimp which is very hard to find. We ordered a crab rangoon appetizer that came with 6 rangoons and dipping sauce. I was disappointed about the amount of filling that was in these. Not much at all, just enough for flavor but nothing substantial. For my entree I ordered the General Tso's chicken combo. I was going to order the honey walnut shrimp but they wouldnt give me a combo in that. It only came with rice. So my entree came which I ordered spicy. It had a good flavor but wasnt spicy at all. The temperature was great though. To back up a bit I got a choice of either an eggroll or soup, who does that! So i picked egg drop which had a good flavor. So back to my entree, General Tso chicken is so different everywhere you go. This had a lighter sweeter taste, with two steamed broccoli flowerets. I ordered the fried rice with mine and it was great. Nice and moist, not the dry kind that separates when you stuck your fork in. It had peas, carrots and onions in it also. All i. All my mea tasted good. I wish it was more spicy and that I could have gotten the honey walnut shrimp combo. My friend got the cashew chicken combo. He got the eggroll which Im glad I didnt get because it was the pork cabbage type, Im a bean sprout egg roll girl myself. His had a good flavor but WAY to much celery. Thats what made up 99% of the dish. And what do ya know he doesnt like celery so he picked out the rest and ate that. I ate the celery and it was good. I ordered the chicken and broccoli with steamed white rice. I opted for Hot & Sour soup. The chicken was moist and all white meat. Crisp and tender broccoli.
