The Local Oyster was a huge draw (now they are completely out of business). There are still some food stalls like the ramen and Korean shop, and a new seasonal/holiday store, but it looks quite empty. Mount Vernon marketplace is a staple food hall so I hope they bounce back because the city needs it. I used to bring visitors to this marketplace and it's such a great stop for all the other activities in the area.

Their menu features ramen, brothless ramen, and other Asian-fusion bowls. Honestly, the food didn't look bad and there seemed to be some gluten free options. When ordering, there wasn't any option to customize the tea (sugar or ice levels specifically) so when it came out, I was disappointed with the sweetness and the lukewarm temp. I wish there was more ice and less sugar. The boba was also very overcooked and slimy. It didn't have the chewy bounce that boba is supposed to have and it wasn't marinated well either - it didn't taste like brown sugar at all. Just flavorless and mush. I ended up going home and dumping the whole thing over some ice cubes but it still wasn't great. The only upside is that they use dairy-free milk so no need to customize that. But overall, I wouldn't recommend this spot for boba unfortunately.
