We used to really enjoy Phillips and now it is just ok. The food isn't bad but it really doesn't stand out either. I went with the Fried Seafood Trio. The standout for this was the crab cake. The shrimp were just ok and the fish was the same. The crab cake was far better. The fries were mushy and not well seasoned. The service started off well but then we didn't see our server again till she brought the check. For the price Phillips charges it can be better. Try something else instead.

Lobster roll was really good, if not a little light in the lobster for $40. I liked that it didn't have too much mayo in it.

Food was solid for a very touristy area. The service was good, not great. Against, it's a place that is probably slammed with tourists all day.

Went to Phillips and sat outside across from the restaurant on the crab deck because we wanted to order steamed crabs. We ordered the Ultimate Crab feast and it was delicious! Sooo good. The presentation was amazing and so was the food. Service was good. It's a nice covered area perfect for eating seafood.

Was in town and decided to do tourists stuff and went to the harbor to the aquarium. Afterwards, we wanted some crabs and decided to check Phillips out. We sat outside and the waiter was very attentive and accommodating. We opted for the crab feast and we got plenty of food for only about $140. I was surprised at how much we got, and everything was seasoned to perfection. Will definitely be back for crabs whenever I'm back in town.

I've wanted to eat a crab cake from Phillip's since I was a poor college student over 50 years ago. Tonight I did it. It's a well worn and well located tourist spot that can't be replicated. They take advantage of those attributes by offering good, not great, food at top shelf prices. The menu, as expected, is primarily seafood with a few apps, salads, and soups. The wine list is absolutely minimal with a couple of options in each mainstream variety. Our dinner tonight was a crab cake and a lobster roll, one with fries and one with coleslaw. The food was good. Service was professional but the wait for food was a little more than expected. Bottom line, it's a famous tourist spot that you should visit, but visit as a tourist, not as a food critic.

We had a wonderful experience at Phillips Seafood in Baltimore. The service was great from the moment we arrived. We used the valet service, which made everything very convenient and stress-free. The food was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations, and the staff was attentive without being overwhelming. The atmosphere was friendly, not crowded and peaceful. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Great service, excellent food, and the added convenience of valet parking made the visit even better. I would definitely recommend Phillips Seafood when visiting Baltimore!

Went to this Phillips location after the aquarium at the Inner Harbor. We had to wait 30 minutes and put ourselves on a waiting list. The host we interacted with was ambivalent, at best. Once seated, we ordered drinks and food and I ordered the fried catfish with fries and coleslaw. It was pretty good, but I don't think it was worth $28 dollars of a meal. The entire meal for 6 people and a baby came out to over $200 for what was basically glorified bar food. Though it was tasty, I think you can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere. Customer service: 3/5 Cost: 2/5 Overall: 3/5

Tried this spot for dinner. We were seated quickly and our drink and food orders were taken pretty quickly also. We both ordered the steak and crab cake. It was good. Steak was a little over cooked because I asked for medium but the flavor was good. Crab cake was good. The blue crab margarita was ehh but the Long Island iced tea was great! They were busy but it wasn't too noisy or overwhelming. When we left we saw that they had an outside crab area. We would have opted for that but didn't see it on the way in. Overall it was good but not worth the price.

Stopped by Phillips for Mother's Day to celebrate both my mom's special day and her birthday, and we really enjoyed it! Since the weather was amazing, we decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather! We started with the Oysters on the Half Shell and roasted oysters along with the clam chowder soup. It was my first time trying raw oysters, and I can definitely say it was a new experience for me! The highlight of the meal was definitely the crab cakes! They were packed with huge chunks of crab and cooked with a nice crust on the outside. We then literally walked just a few steps across to their Phillips Crab Shack to enjoy some blue crabs because you truly can't come to Maryland without getting steamed crabs!

Had dinner with a group of friends for his birthday, it was 7 of us total around 8pm on a Saturday night and we were able to be sat immediately. Our server was amazing! Super kind and patient with us. We got the Chesapeake crab dip for an appetizer, it came with some kind of seasoned bread which was delicious! Add some Tabasco for a nice kick! I had the Crispy Fish sandwich and it was unbelievably fresh and delicious! The fries were crispy and fresh. Overall loved it, its a nice restaurant to go to if you are celebrating.

I was walking around the Inner Harbor when I stumbled upon Phillips Seafood. You can't miss the building as the signage letters are huge! There's an option to sit inside or outside, but I opted for indoor seating. My waitress was phenomenal. She was so pleasant throughout my dining experience. I was obviously craving seafood. I ordered the Premium Broiled Trio which consisted of lobster tail, the fresh catch which was Barramundi, scallops, mashed potatoes and vegetables. I also ordered a cup of the clam chowder which was on point! It was quite a bit of food, but very satisfying indeed.

    Are the crabs fresh?

If I knew better , this would not be my first choice of restaurants again. In my personal opinion, I'd look for a restaurant more tailored to seafood and not a chain restaurant.

Are they still doing bottomless brunch? On the website it says it's inactive

I was just there on a Sunday and there wasn't a brunch option. Sorry, it would have been good.

Does the Phlilips seafood in the inner harbor have a buffet?

They have an amazing Sunday brunch buffet from 10-2.

Located on the top level of Crossbar Biergarten, The Wurst is a true hidden gem. You would never know it was there unless someone told you. The entrance is literally a walk-in freezer door just to the left of the stairs on the second floor, which adds to the fun speakeasy feel. We stopped in for pregame drinks before a nearby Yelp Elite event, and it did not disappoint. We were the only ones in the bar, and our bartender was fantastic, quick, friendly, and clearly knew his craft. I ordered a Paper Plane, a whiskey based cocktail with Aperol, lemon, and Amaro Nonino. It was perfectly balanced and the ideal drink to have after work. My fiancée ordered the Pornstar Martini, which she became very familiar with during a recent trip to Paris. The Wurst's version was a bit unorthodox since they serve the champagne on the side instead of as a floater on top. Not a negative, just different, and more of a deconstructed approach that some might treat like a chaser. Overall, The Wurst is a really cool concept bar that feels unlike anything else in Federal Hill. Between the hidden entrance, relaxed atmosphere, and quality drinks, it is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy creative cocktails and a good story to go with them.

Given my experience with DC and other parts of MD, I was determined to contact them ahead of time and make sure I would have a spot for brunch. So we got settled immediately and started ordering. Our gracious server asked for drinks, which have a bottomless option during brunch. We could pick from mimosas, crushes, sangria and bloody marys. I tried everything but the bloody marys, and while they were good, whew there was a lot of ice in the mimosa... I'm not used to ice there, so it threw me off but it was still good! The REAL highlight was the food... the item I got changed my life: Crab. Cake. Eggrolls. They came with this amazing sweet chili sauce and were so filling and delicious! I also got chicken & waffle sliders to go that had a nice kick and the waffle texture was great! My cousin enjoyed his food as well. Also, shout out to the bagel wall that's on the way to the bathroom. It had great options and all the fixings! If I wasn't full I would've gotten one myself. I will return here for brunch.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.
