I took an online course with this company so that I could add Lash Lift to my menu at my spa, and I am very disappointed. After $1500 spent on a one day course with a few missing parts, I recommend looking at other companies before parting with money on this course. To start, the "owner" was a bit impatient, rude and snarky during the zoom session when asked questions, etc. The kit did not include the highly recommended cleanser but the owner told us we needed it and not to use any other cleansers. The kit did include two tint tubes which I was told that I could ship back for a credit for the cleanser that should have been in the kit to begin with, to ensure that the product worked effectively. The class did not teach brow shaping and the response from the owner was to charge the client $300 for the Lash Lift & Brow Lamination but send the client somewhere else to get them shaped? This is unethical and laughable and I am glad that after 6 years in the industry, I already know how to shape a brow but for students like the young lady in my class who didn't, this is not ok. The company had no videos to reference each step, which is essential when learning a new technique. I understand keeping things proprietary, however the success of the student who just spent $1500 should take precedent over secrecy. For those who are visual learners, having to email for help or just a manual to read, isn't sufficient support for troubleshooting. The company just changed its glue recipe and the newer glue should have been tested before release because according to the students in the Facebook group, I am not the only one having a hard time working with the newer product. All in all, my experience as a recent (October 2020) student has not been a good one and if I could go back to the moment before me paying for this course and going with another company, I would. Just took the advanced course, after doing lash lifts and brow lamination for half a year now with YUMI. Elysee trained us, online class. Enough time to go over everything we need to know, for questions and also showed us a lash lift and brow lamination demo on a live model. I highly recommend this course to any YUMI lash tech. From marketing to getting better and better on isolations and how to save time on every client!!! And most importantly on how to stay our best! First let me say I am a former student of Elysee's. I took the class in September and the training was amazing. She and her assistant were very helpful and Elysee was a doll. She answered every question each student had, with patience. (Small class of about 7, we received individual attention and were encouraged to explain after care to our both our models) To read that some of the models were upset enough to leave a negative review is disheartening because what do you think you are paying for when you're receiving an 80% discount on a GREAT treatment. You know that the students are inexperienced. Smh. Anyways. Both my models LOVED the outcome of my YUMI Lash treatment, and I am booked for the rest of the month. For anyone interested in taking this class I say go for it and for anyone who is interested in receiving this service, Elysee is the pioneer of YUMi Lashes so those paying for her class are learning from the best!! read more

I went to a training in Las Vegas and was trained by Elysee. Before the training I had many questions. The customer service for YUMILashes is extremely helpful. I never felt like I didn't have all the information I needed. I feel they go above and beyond with customer care. The training with Elysee was so informative. I think the best part of the training was the hands on part. You can't learn what I learn for Elysee from a video I promise you that! After class I had questions about placing an order and the customer service was again VERY helpful!
