I drove by Yummy Yummy 100s of times, never saw it so far back from the road. The inside is nice, modern, but small. One can eat at the window on a stool, that's it. No tables. Our food wasn't ok, but it was "cheap Chinese". Rice was dried out. Roast pork wasn't great. The egg rolls have an exceeding crust to filling ratio. Would I go back? Yes, but not late at night.

This is the best Chinese food in town. Not only does the food taste fresh but the staff is really friendly. Our favorites here: Singapore Mei Fun, General Taos combo, and egg rolls are so good! Taste is authentic and you wont feel tired, bloated, or gross after eating this (dont we always feel guilty after Chinese take out!) The drinks are made in house in big containers - ice tea and pink lemonade which are not too sweet and not watered down. There is plenty of parking in front or they deliver (pretty quickly). You have to try it out!

The 2 starts is mainly because they are nice here and because their vegetable rice was just ok. We ordered the veggie fried rice (ok), a few vegetable egg rolls (they seemed to only have lettuce and cabbage in them) and an order of the sesame chicken (I still don't know if we were actually eating chicken or something else, it tasted weird and if for sure looked bad.. maybe they just use the worst part of the chicken..??.. I hope so!) I would spend my money on this place again.

    Not as described on menu.

I've ordered from here in the past and was very happy. However, I ordered online at 3:30 today and there were problems. First... an hour until I got my food. I ordered a combination and a cheeses steak roll and I'm less then 5 minutes from the restaurant. If I wasn't working, I could have walked there and back in less time then the delivery. Then, excited for the Cheese steak roll, I rip it in half to have onions (90%) fall out. I could only find the "steak" by moving the onions and its ground beef, not cheese steak meat! Called the restaurant and the woman that answered had nothing to say about the hour delivery and for the "cheese steak roll" states she's buys them, doesn't make them... as if that's an acceptable excuse(I didn't believe her). I advised that onions aren't even mentioned on menu and that I could not eat it and am throwing it away

At one time there was table service available, but these days there are tables but no service. You can stay and eat, but you have to order and pick your food up at the counter. Takes some getting used to, but I chose to get my Combo of Orange Chicken, Fried Rice and Egg Roll to go so I could enjoy my repast from the comfort of my own kitchen table. Management was friendly, but declined to prepare something off menu (Orange Beef) because of a lame reason of order size. I would have paid extra to get what I wanted, but he wasn't interested in negotiating. Okay. His loss. In fact, I liked what he served. The Egg Roll was crisp, hot and full of pork and shrimp pieces along with cabbage and sprouts. Much above average. The Orange Chicken was also decent. Not over-breaded, with a pleasant tangy spiced amber colloid that coated the chicken chunks and held its heat. It glooped well with the fried rice, which was freshly made with a goodly supply of pork and veggies. Again, all this was above average for a take out house. PRO TIP- I grade Chinois Americano cuisine on a different scale than old world traditional Mandarin/Szechuan or Shanghainese wok work. I appreciate the historic necessities presented by immigrants cooking what was available in the new world rather than their haute cuisine from Asia. The locals got accustomed to that style and tend to prefer it to this day. Personally, I love them both, but can only get the original at home, and have to go out to get the Chinese American variations.

My order was extensive and a bit complicated (as usual), yet it was prepared flawlessly. The garnishes on the individual pieces meticulously applied. Fresh and inviting, arrayed with an artistic flair for color and balance. The "Mango Tango" roll, extraordinary. My seaweed salad, everything about it was perfection. The others in my group of four went the Cantonese route, tofu fried rice, a seafood noodle dish, which were judged superior. Throughout the evening, we all agreed it was a fantastic dinner we enjoyed. BYOB and relax. While not over-the-top in its décor, Queen Sushi's dining area is clean and orderly, serene even. Lit by large windows looking out upon the shaded, peaceful streets of Glenside. In fact, we found everything Queen Sushi has to offer so satisfying, it is a shame, really, to enter a complaint, but nonetheless. As I find more and more, no matter how lovely the establishment, the service is often wanting, and this impacted our experience. Had I not mentioned the appetizer I had ordered, it would have been overlooked, I am certain, because another appetizer we ordered was indeed completely forgotten. And I know that sushi preparation is a separate affair from the kitchen, which can lead to food arriving at different intervals - not unusual. But the considerable length of time the rest of my group was made to wait listening to me ooh and aah over my sushi was more than a little awkward. It so happens that I am a slow eater, so even though the hot entrees arrived late, we all finished neck-and-neck, but I should not have been given such a head start. Things happen, I understand. But when they do, it can dim the sheen of what was, without doubt, the best Asian fusion we've had in quite a while.

Nothing fancy, however, but it was clean and inviting. The waiter we had was friendly and attentive without hovering, and our food came out quicker than I expected. The dishes were flavorful, especially the General Tso's & Sesame chicken. Everything tasted better than every day Chinese when hungover, as well, the portions were generous. I will say some items could use just a little more seasoning, but overall it was satisfying and well-prepared. Definitely a solid spot when you're craving Chinese food. I'd happily come back after the next show I attend
