why went there and took my kids with me and my husband we sat down to and we went up there to get steak and rice on a plate and washed them and on a grill and the steak stunk so bad after I cooked it on the grill we couldn't even eat at your stomach to smell it it smelt rotten so I went up there to ask him what he cooked it in and why it smelled so bad and there was maggots all over the side of the grill where they are not clean my daughter-in-law felt sick and couldn't eat after that after smelling the steak husband's came in a little later so she didn't eat. She just tried taking a bite to his steak and spit it right back out made her so sick. She didn't feel like eating so we told them that she didn't eat, but we would pay for her drink and she said what do you mean look a shoulder taken a bite of his steak and spitting it right back on the plate she said it didn't matter. She still took a bite off of his plate. I was paying full price for her I said at least charge me for a child. This is ridiculous. Why would you charge me full price? I said I don't plan on coming back here anyways cause your grill has maggots all around it and cockroaches around it. I said so no worries I won't be back, but you could at least charge me for a child all she did was take a bite off my son's plate and spit it back out. She said no I was gonna pay it all so I told her whatever and then three of the employees getting hateful for me outside, which didn't start outside, but we could've took it outside if they wanted to but old hoops with the big hoop earrings didn't want none when I told her to come home with it and held the door open for because they got the wrong one for I don't like going around problem, but I sure will I promise God on that even though I'd have to get my hands dirty didn't come home bleach them but they need to learn what bleach is and clean that grill it's disgusting and I'm just telling you I went there twice and got sick both times all I that you get off the grill or the food you get off the grill it stinks so bad. They never clean that grill those cockroaches and maggots around it. It is so disgusting there. The board of health needs to go in there and check things out, but this is Monty so they're probably never going to, but I will never spend another line here ever again in my life. It is all bad. We love this wonderful buffet specializing in Asian cuisine. It meets everyone and every family able to please all ages! It has something for a child, American favorites, wonderful huge roasts of beef, pork roasts, ham all served by slice. There are four types of soup and several mixed Asian mixes to put on the tours of rice and delicious LoMein. My server was excellent but I went to get another fork and her coworker nearly snapped my head off. First time there. Lunch buffet. Service was awesome. Waitress stopped by our table to take away plates and refill drinks about 4 times, and they were busy. Buffet was plentiful (2 hrs after opening) and was fairly typical of offerings in a Chinese restaurant. Nice sushi bar, although I just don't enjoy that. They have a grill as well, but we were hungry, so we just opted for what was already out there. Lots of various chicken offerings and various vegetables prepared various ways. Only reason I didn't give them a five is some of the chicken was a little overcooked. Egg rolls were pretty good too. This reminded me of the Teppenyaki restaurants. Restrooms were clean. Drinks and all for two of us was under$30. I think prices go up for dinner/evenings, but way better than a burger joint for just a few bucks more. You need to get some Yummy! I so seriously enjoyed this place! I drove in to Muncie and met a friend at Yummy so we could watch the eclipse. Yes, they were a bit busy, but our server, Breck, was so top drawer and we wanted for nothing. My first tea was a little weak, so I changed it out for water, and she came back later with a proper iced tea, saying she felt bad that I'd paid for it and it wasn't quite brewed completely yet. The second one was just fine. I had a lot of sushi and seafood for this meal. The seafood was excellent, and that's tough to pull off on a buffet. The sushi was also great, tasting fresh and interesting. We did get there right after opening, so fresh was the order of the moment. The table was very clean, but I'll mention that the walls next to us were quite in need of cleaning. Lots of fingerprints and even some goo on those. But it wasn't enough to stop a star off this wonderful visit. I highly recommend you have a good meal at Yummy. Lots of fresh foods, all types, all tasty and well-seasoned. I even came back later in the day so I could take dinner home via takeout! Sooo good, and the buffet was still very fresh and attractive. My spouse agreed when I got it home. read more

I've been to this location several times. Food is okay, I mostly just eat the noodles and rice. It's hard to mess that up, but the food could be better. Price is pretty decent for my partner and I. The best thing is to get the sushi bar, you can get a ton for a good price, take out or eat in. If you want to go here, def. go during the lunch hours, the price is much better then. Service is usually fine, I don't think I have ever had too much of a problem. Be careful and check what they are charging you though, I have had the experience of them mixing up our tickets and trying to charge us $80 when we owed $30. Literally the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. I was excited at first because the variety was good, but it went bad fast. The food was disgusting. I took a few bites of different things, hoping it was just one or two items but no. Shrimp isn't properly prepped at all (some of it had legs still). The meat all tasted sour and veiny. The noodles are dry. My husband asked for a discount (since we had a few bites and drinks we figured we'd be polite and pay SOMETHING) but they refused and demanded full price. There is a Hibachi, Sushi, Dessert, Ice Cream, Salad, Fruit and several Hot Bar Stations. The Sushi was delicious and there were many varieties of EVERYTHING to choose from. So we try a new restaurant each time we visit our student at Ball State. We were so excited to eat at Yummy's. We love to eat Chinese food. Pretty much saved our appetite all afternoon to feast at this restaurant. We're were hugely disappointed. There's a variety of foods but the quality is not good. All the chicken dishes were chewy, stringy and over cooked. Poor quality meats. The buffet had steam coming from it and yet the food was lukewarm. After settling into the hotel, I pull on my coat and gloves...out the door I go. Greeted upon entry and promptly seated...ordered a hot tea and water...now the buffet. First thing I notice are all the steaming hot trays. It is a real difficulty for buffets to keep the hot food hot...apparently they have mastered that task here. Awesome...!!! They have 4 buffet tables with all the hot dish and soups you would expect from a good Chinese buffet...and then some. Plus there are countless sushi rolls and quite the spread for fruits and desserts. My meal was hot, tasty, and just real good. What a gold mine to find way out here and off the beaten path.
