The place is great. Since CoViD they only do take-out, sadly. Even before, dine in was a nice experience We get take out here as often as we can. Door dash, ubereats etc available. I use the app "Beyond menu" to preorder and then just go and pick it up. The food is delicious! They have lunch menu options (it's basically a litte less food for a little less money) great variety The staff is always super friendly, sometimes "throw" freebies at you, like a new calendar. Place looks nice, as well. Very clean and cozy atmosphere.

Yummy Palace has so many great options!! We started off with the crab salad. It was so fresh and delicious. You get so much meat!! We got 4 sushi rolls and all were so yummy! My favorite was the eel room! For entrees we got the chicken lo mein and sweet n sour chicken. Both came out with so much food! The server was very attentive and sweet!! Will be going back

This place was so yummy just like the name said it would be. My daughter and I had the California roll, the shrimp avocado roll and the spider roll. These three rolls were amazing they had a great flavor. The service was very good and nice. It was not packed at all and had a lot of space. Overall a great experience.

My chosen dish was not so yummy. This was my second visit here, but I am not so sure there will be another. If I were to base my rating on menu selections, atmosphere, and portion size, it would be 4 stars. The two stars are due to the quality and taste of my particular order. Personally, raw carrots and celery in an entree do not appeal to me when the other ingredients are cooked . The brown sauce was loaded with sodium or MSG. Couldn't wait to get rid of the side effects associated with a salty meal. I noticed some other options on the menu that might have been more appealing and tasteful. Might be worth another try, since it tends to be trial and error when one is not accustomed to a restaurant's preparation methods, and ingredients, for certain dishes.

It sucks, I used to be a loyal customer but the quality of all the food has went down hill. I will never recommend this joint.

Great lunch specials! My rice was so fragrant, fluffy, and perfectly al dente. Extensive menu and generous portions for the price.

This is actually the first time I've had such a strong physical reaction. Most traditional Thai restaurants use fresh Thai chilies when making papaya salad, not large amounts of ground chili powder, because chili powder creates a much harsher, burning heat on the stomach rather than the normal fresh chili heat. I ordered spice level 4 expecting something moderate, but it felt closer to what would be level 9-10 at many Thai restaurants. There was no warning that the spice level was based on chili powder rather than fresh chilies. After eating, I experienced severe stomach burning, dizziness, and almost fainted, which has never happened to me from Thai food before. Information for the chef (from someone Thai, hoping this helps): Fresh chilies and chili powder create different types of heat. Chili powder is made from dried chilies, which concentrates capsaicin (the compound that causes burning). It also often contains more crushed seeds and inner membranes, which hold the highest capsaicin levels. Because it is finely ground, it spreads more evenly and can coat the mouth and stomach, causing a deeper and harsher burning sensation compared to the sharper but cleaner heat from fresh chilies typically used in traditional som tam. I would strongly recommend that the restaurant clarify how their spice levels work and what type of chili they use so customers can make informed choices. Thai food can be spicy, but it shouldn't come as a surprise in a way that causes physical distress. As someone from Thailand, this was not the typical type of spice we associate with authentic som tam. My mom also own Papaya Salad restaurant in Thailand. I know how to make my own dish. This is not authentic and not a good Thai food. 4 5555

Place has four 2 person tables but can move them around. Water is great! Mango salad w chicken Medium spicy is low spicy to me, definitely taste the fish sauce, chicken little bit on tough side but good. mango is great, in season now, sliced tomatoes a nice kick. 8/10 Steamed dumpling- actually shu Mai, good by itself but really good with the dipping sauce, 8 or 9/10 Fish dish- was imagining a whole fish but maybe that's not popular in the 'Burgh, so it's fish pieces. Everything cooked well, green beans onions peppers. Didn't get much basil flavor at first, but hit me later. Little too salty, 7/10 Green curry with chicken, mild. Very nice flavor. Super good over the white rice. 9/10 We've been to Thailand and have been to multiple Thai places in the SF Bay Area and this place ranks up there with the best and original Thai flavors. Would not hesitate to come in again when in the area. Highly suggested.
