Food is delicious. Fried shrimp was fire! Appetizer plate was also super delicious. We had the pad see eww and red curry. It's a no frills eatery with smooth jams playing. A great place for a low key family dinner or lunch. We enjoyed our food for sure!

You know an Asian place is gonna be bomb af when you're the only person in the restaurant who can't speak the language. Nonetheless, the service is very kind and welcoming. Try the Thai Boat with pork belly. Hope their service and recipes never change!

My favorite neighborhood Lao/Thai restaurant! The owner, Yah, is an awesome dude and has built an awesome culture around this restaurant. Read my last review for some food suggestions. However, lately, I've been eating the Combo Pho with Crispy Pork and it has been PHENOMENAL! Would highly recommend! Regardless, the food is consistently delicious. The servers are cute and awesome (unless they're overwhelmed by all the people who wanna eat here during rush hours). And the prices are generally pretty fair! PLZ!!! Slide thru and show these local business-owners some love!

Wow! Ordered food for pick up and the "steak salad" was literally the saddest damn salad I have ever seen!!! Papaya was soooooo little too! So disappointed- lost my appetite just seeing the food and didn't even end up eating the food.

The name is no lie, this is some Yummy Thai. The customer service is excellent, and the food is outstanding! I ordered some of our old favorites and asked for a house suggestion and we ordered that too (Khao Mun Kai). Everything was delicious and we have a definite new favorite in Khao Mun Kai. The ambience is "Hole in the wall" and it's perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. We are definitely adding Yummy Thai to the rotation.

    Pho noodles and a bug

First time going here the place service was good, looked clean where you eat in at.did a call in order for a combo pho got home and went to empty the noodles out it the bowl and there was a bug in the noodles...I would recommend to avoid this if this bug got in a tight container mind you the bug is dead from the heat of the noodles I couldn't imagine what is back there in the kitchen...

The food is great. The atmosphere is chill it's a hole in the wall spot but great food. The only thing I say is be specific on how you want your food. I read a review that it wasn't spicy enough for them but when I ordered spice level 3 it was hot for me but goodness it was still so good. The young man Gabe was very interactive and made sure I had everything I needed. Awesome customer service. I will always recommend here.

We got steamed rice to pair. Next I tried the vegan pad kee mow and especially after the previous dish, the spice level on this really hit! I would say it's definitely on the spicier of spicy side. My partner eventually got hit halfway through the dish where the spice really started accumulating. Both were very delicious though! We came in on 4th of July for lunch and it was very busy. There was just one server so there was a bit of a longer wait for us to order after we were seated, but I could see how busy she was, seating people, checking out their bills, answering the phone, serving dishes, and handling takeout orders. Eventually towards the second half of our meal, a second server arrived. Empty tables got cleared much faster. We were just passing through Merced so very glad to have found this Thai spot with yummy vegan options as opposed to resorting to some unhealthy fast food. I recommend!

Oh, and that was with a Diet Coke too. Insanity. Food was very good with the favorite being the $12 shaken beef. A nice sauce, again at that stupid good price. This place is huge! I think a pizza joint in the past. Large screen tv and a consistent take out business. Street or alley parking. Food is probably 4+ stars but the pricing gets them a five!! The food is fresh and made to order. It's your typical Laos/Thai spot. My son's favorite is the Satay Chicken. We used to be a huge fan of the coconut water because it was as fresh and came with coconut bits, but under new management, they just handed us a can of coconut water you can easily buy at the Hmong Store in town AND without pulp. Unfortunately, that was a bit disappointing. Regardless, overall, food, service, and location took the cake so seeing as this was not our first time here, it also won't be our last.
